301 About Sexiness

301 About Sexiness

Li Wei originally planned to skip school in the morning and just stay home to read and rest, since there wasn't anything going on there.

Unfortunately, she didn't succeed. Xu Ting called and said that the school had assigned her another task that night. The leader specifically instructed that Li Wei had to go, as she had apparently done a good job last time and received a very positive response from the foreign trade department.

Li Wei thought about it and realized that she didn't want to go out and work in the future. She just wanted to stay at the school, read the textbooks with her students every day, and teach them grammar and vocabulary. She didn't have to be in the office because she had fewer classes, and she could also keep an eye on her business from time to time. This was her ideal life.

Besides, she was also afraid of running into Comrade Kevin again. He was the kind of person who was determined and wouldn't give up until he achieved his goal. Li Wei really didn't have much experience dealing with people like that, and she didn't have that much time to play games with him. It was better to avoid meeting him.

However, given the nature of their work, most of the time they're doing jobs that involve interacting with real people. They don't even need to go out to look through documents, and that's not their place. There are plenty of experienced people who want to earn extra money but don't have the right to do so.

However, this matter was issued through the school, so it's impossible to refuse directly unless one leaves the school.

So Li Wei thought for a moment, and since she and Xu Ting weren't strangers, she said, "Tell that director that my face is covered in rashes and I can't show my face to anyone. Just say that I absolutely don't want to go out. You just need to play it by ear, understand?"

Xu Ting thought the job was good; the school said it would provide a stipend, and it would also be a good opportunity for her to develop her skills. So she persuaded Li Wei, "Go for it, it's a rare opportunity."

Li Wei: "You say you won't go and then you just don't go? What kind of opportunity is this? Do you think I'm suited for frequent business trips? I have a whole bunch of kids and a husband, where am I supposed to go? Hurry up and ask for leave for me, and let me know when you're done."

Xu Ting had no choice but to ask for leave for her. Half an hour later, she called back: "All done. I told you, I gave you a chance and you didn't take it. There are plenty of people at our school who want this opportunity but can't get it. Don't regret it!"

Li Wei laughed, "No regrets, no regrets, haha. I was just trying to be helpful. Didn't you see? I was creating opportunities for others. I followed their path, so I didn't leave them with no path to follow. Alright, why don't you come over for dinner, or you can come over for lunch? We just made some chicken soup at home today, would you like to come and have some?"

Xu Ting thought for a moment and said, "Okay. Wait for me. I'll hurry up and pack my bag and come over. You can borrow my clothes. Wait for me, hehe."

Li Wei put down the phone and breathed a sigh of relief. She took a sip of water, thought for a moment, and then casually picked up the phone again to call her father-in-law, Lao Luo's, office. He said he had gone home. Li Wei followed up with a phone call.

The old woman, Zhao Chunyan, chatted with Li Wei for a long time, covering every little detail of the three children's eating, drinking, and bodily functions. Only then did they call Lao Luo over to listen.

Li Wei briefly told him about Luo Erdi's situation. Like Li Wei, Lao Luo was somewhat pleased about Luo Erdi's 'bankruptcy.' Now the family business could finally expand. Otherwise, the thought of the massive amount of liquid funds at home, or rather, in Li Wei's company, would have made Lao Luo feel restless and anxious. He felt that money should be used to generate more revenue, instead of lying dormant in the bank.

Especially considering the speed at which Li Wei's company makes money. Lao Luo feels there's probably never any worry about losing money. What's missing now is a good opportunity—an opportunity for a family member to go out and explore a wider world.

Now, Lao Luo seemed to see a glimmer of hope. Excitedly, he immediately agreed to go over in a bit. But then he remembered he had a social engagement that evening. So he had to make an appointment with Li Wei. Tomorrow passed.

Li Wei hung up the phone, feeling as if a major matter had been resolved. She decided to stop reading, put on a face mask, and lay in bed thinking, waiting for Xu Ting to come over so they could have lunch together.

Unexpectedly, I fell asleep while lying down. After all, I didn't sleep much last night and was woken up by Luo Er in the morning, so I obviously didn't get enough sleep. I was woken up by Xu Ting's scream.

When Li Wei woke up, she felt a cool sensation on her face. Remembering her face mask, she reached out and ripped it off. She said to Xu Ting in an annoyed tone, "What are you yelling about? Haven't you ever seen someone wearing a face mask before? Don't make a fuss."

Xu Ting had never actually seen anyone apply this before. She had seen it a few times in movies and TV shows, but none of them were as exaggerated or as ugly as this, looking like a puddle of mud smeared on the face.

So she said somewhat fearfully, "I've never seen such an ugly face mask before. It's so black. Will putting it on my face make my skin better? Won't it make my skin darker?"

Li Wei sat up and called to Xu Ting, "Are you more scared than me? Although this isn't the best for whitening, it's pretty good for nourishing the skin and removing blemishes. Want to give it a try?"

Xu Ting quickly shook her head: "You should use it yourself. Don't scare the people in our dorm too much. Forget it."

Li Wei smiled, didn't argue with her, went to the bathroom to wash her face, tidied herself up quickly, and then the two of them went downstairs to eat.

The two had only been eating for a short while when Da Luo returned. Li Wei was taken aback; this was quite unusual. Their family's busiest man had actually come back for lunch. She quickly asked Aunt Gao to hand him a set of chopsticks and a bowl, and asked, "Why are you here so early today?"

Judging from his expression, Da Luo looked serious, as if something was wrong.

Mr. Mou greeted Xu Ting, first picked up a spoon to scoop a bowl of soup and drink it, then picked up his rice bowl: "We'll talk upstairs later. There are some things I need to do, so I probably have to go on a business trip, and I don't have much time."

Li Wei didn't ask any more questions, but she still felt it wasn't a good thing. This guy used to go on business trips, and every time he went, it was never easy; he practically risked his life. Why would her family need to keep getting involved in such dangerous flirting?

So neither of them spoke and they ate in silence. Da Luo knew Li Wei's attitude towards his business trips, especially those dangerous ones, but he had no choice. Once you enter the public sector, you are a public servant. When orders come from above, you have to obey.

More importantly, he was quite confident in his skills, always feeling that the one who could take his life hadn't been born yet.

After finishing lunch in silence, Li Wei told Xu Ting to go to the dressing room to find clothes and accessories, while she and Da Luo went back to the bedroom to talk.

There's not much to say, really. Basically, Da Luo is going on a long business trip. The location, time, and mission all need to be kept secret, and his return date is uncertain.

Li Wei felt a chill run down her spine. What kind of mess is this? There are so many police officers, why is it always you who has to go out? Do you think you're so capable? "Can't you just not go?"

Li Wei looked somewhat depressed and felt down.

Da Luo sighed, pulled Li Wei onto his lap, and rubbed his chin against her head: "The orders came directly from above, we have no choice but to go. Don't worry, I'll be careful. Try to think positively. While I'm gone, you can sleep and rest more, which is good for your beauty. When I come back, I'll see that this isn't my wife, it's my little girl. Suddenly I have two little girls, haha."

Li Wei nudged someone with her elbow: "Go away, stop talking nonsense. Wouldn't I become the Child Granny of Tianshan if I did that? Did I make such a comparison? Let me tell you, I know you're not a free agent, but you still need to be careful. Don't be a lone hero. Rely on the group if anything happens."

Da Luo continued to nuzzle his chin against Li Wei's neck: "Don't worry, I'll definitely come back alive and kicking, don't worry, okay?"

Li Wei continued nagging, feeling an itch on her neck: "And another thing, stay away from those sugar-coated bullets, especially honey traps. You're not allowed to actually fall for them, not even pretending. You're absolutely forbidden, you hear me! If any woman comes to me because you've bewitched her, I'll kill her first, and then I'll kill you too. You'll be waiting to be sent to the palace as a male waiter. Ugh, it itches."

Two hours later, the man left carrying a simple travel bag. Li Wei lay in bed, feeling weak, with a sore back and numb legs. She didn't go out to see him off, but she secretly resented him. "That guy is too ruthless. Isn't this on purpose? He's just afraid I'll hold him back. Humph!"

No sooner had Da Luo left the house than Xu Ting entered Li Wei's room. Looking at the messy bedding, she laughed utterly despicable: "Hehehe."

Li Wei glanced at her sideways and said, "What are you 'hehing' about? What are you doing coming in so early? Didn't you see the couple whispering sweet nothings to each other? You're such a sly person!"

Xu Ting quickly covered her mouth and shook her head before saying, "I didn't mean to, really, I just felt sorry for you. Look at you, tsk tsk, your neck and chest."

Li Wei roared, "You lecherous woman, get out of here!"

Xu Ting didn't leave. Li Wei wrapped herself tightly in the bed sheet and leaned against the headboard: "Have you found any clothes? Is anything else missing? Can you wear my size?"

Xu Ting laughed awkwardly: "Yes, I can wear it!"

Li Wei looked at it and said, "Go change and let me see. Don't act like you have some amazing figure. Is it really that serious?"

Without saying a word, Xu Ting went to the dressing room and changed into the outfit she particularly liked—a simple floral print suit in soft colors.

After changing and returning to Li Wei's room, Li Wei looked up and exclaimed, "Pfft!"

"O_O Haha~" I burst out laughing right then and there.

Xu Ting was extremely embarrassed: "What are you laughing at? I told you it would look especially sexy, but you didn't believe me!"

After laughing enough, Li Wei said, "This isn't sexy, sister. It's just that your family is struggling financially and you can only wear clothes from when you were little. If you think that's sexy because the top is loose and your belly button is showing, and the bottom looks like hot pants, then I'm speechless about your definition of sexy, haha."

Xu Ting said somewhat unhappily, "That's right, I just think my belly button and waist are more sexy, didn't you notice? Sexiness can't just be about the breasts and butt!"

Li Wei smiled and nodded: "No, it depends on the overall look. So, do you think it's okay if you only show your sexy little belly button?"

Xu Ting: "That's why I said I can't wear it, it's too sexy, and I'm afraid it will affect traffic if I go out."

Li Wei -_-
