Cousin 253, the Righteous One

Cousin 253, the Righteous One

After dinner, Li Wei and Luo Da stayed at the Li family's house for a while longer before taking the children back to the Luo family's house.

There's plenty of time ahead; they won't be back until after the New Year and before school starts again. Their family isn't in a hurry and didn't try to stop them. However, the old man and woman told Li Wei to bring the child over early tomorrow.

Li Wei and the others were assigned to the room that Da Luo used to live in. The basic style remained the same, but it was clear that it had been renovated.

Li Wei was still a little worried about the children downstairs, but upon closer inspection, she realized her worries were unfounded. Centered around the nursery, to the left was Luo Gang and his wife's bedroom, and to the right were Aunt Gao and Sister Wei's bedroom. Knowing that Sister Wei would be keeping watch in the nursery at night, Luo Gang and his wife had even managed to get a folding single bed and put it in the nursery to create a space for Sister Wei to look after their grandson.

Across from the nursery lived Grandma Luo—

Even Luo San'er moved to a guest room on the first floor so it would be easier for him to make formula for the baby at night. He'd wanted to do this for a long time, but no one had ever asked him to.

Luo Er was initially quite enthusiastic, but after being urinated on by Luo Yi, his enthusiasm cooled down considerably. He realized that taking care of a child actually had its risks, and from then on, he calmed down and continued to live in his room on the second floor.

Not to mention the two nannies that the child's grandparents had recently hired to take care of the child during the Chinese New Year. Ninety percent of the entire Luo family was crammed onto the first floor. Li Wei and Da Luo were delighted to see this and went upstairs to rest early.

Speaking of this room at a certain university, quite a few scandalous incidents have indeed occurred here. Back in high school, Li Wei remembers that every time she came in, something ambiguous would easily happen, which made her allergic to the sight of sea-blue sheets for a long time.

Now that they're sharing a bed, it's quite a bit of a感慨 (feeling of mixed emotions). Li Wei, wearing pajamas and leaning against the headboard, applied moisturizer to her hands and face while saying to the person who had just come out of the bathroom, "Sigh, do you really like this color of blue? Your sheets are this color. When we bought our bedding together, you also picked out a sheet this color, but I've never seen you like this color when you wear clothes."

The man sat on the bed, vigorously rubbing his hair with a large towel. He tossed it aside on a chair, picked up a cup from the bedside table, took a few sips of water, and said, "I just thought your skin tone looked good with this color of sheets. As for myself, I look the same in any color of clothes."

Li Wei rolled up one sleeve, revealing half of her snow-white arm. She compared it to the bed sheet. White on white, blue on blue. Nothing particularly attractive, was it? She looked up at someone with a puzzled expression.

Someone said without batting an eye, "Actually, it's only effective if we take off our clothes and compare..." before being interrupted by a pillow thrown by Li Wei.

"You pervert! When did I take off my clothes and lie on this bed? Don't you dare slander me!" Her face flushed slightly. This guy was infuriating. He could say such nonsensical things, yet remain completely serious.

The man approached, reminding the other person as he drew nearer: "You forgot? Like that time you came to my house swimming with your swimsuit underneath. You almost took it off, didn't you...?" His hand slowly reached out and embraced her.

Li Wei thought about it. It seemed like there was something going on. She hadn't taken her swimsuit off, hadn't she? "That's not right. I think I've always worn a swimsuit... Could it be that you're just imagining things... What are you doing? You're not trying to fool me again, are you?"

Da Luo was already busy: "Hmm. Let's take it off this time and see. Isn't it a shame we've never seen it here before..."

Li Wei punched him: "I knew it! It really was you who did this... Hey... You... Be gentle. My clothes... Oh right, I can't sleep in tomorrow..."

A certain person said: "Yeah, yeah... I know... Don't worry... Nobody pays attention to us when we get up early or late... Everyone's busy taking care of the kids."

Although Li Wei was a little dazed from the kiss, she still tried her best to warn the man: "...This isn't our own home...you better control yourself...um..."

Looking at the figure on the azure sheets, white as a wave, a fire had already ignited within him. But he didn't forget to guard against the other person changing their mind at the last minute: "Okay, let's do page 182... just for one night..."

As for the contents and amount of information on those 182 pages, Li Wei naturally had no idea. This was the page on which the two of them had already practiced the techniques from the manual the great master had been reading.

After an unknown amount of time, Li Wei, utterly exhausted, drifted off to sleep. Her last thought before falling asleep was, "I hope I don't oversleep tomorrow morning, or I'll kill this guy!"

Also, she absolutely must throw that book away when she gets back, she must.

Li Wei didn't oversleep, because Li Lin called early in the morning, insisting that Li Wei accompany her to her aunt's company to look at clothes. Her aunt had mentioned yesterday that there were still many new samples at the company, and she wanted them to go and take a look, and if they liked any of them, they could wear them.

Li Wei held the microphone with her eyes closed. She was really sleepy. She didn't know what time this shameless guy next to her had finally fallen asleep. Anyway, she was both tired and had a backache. Looking at the clock on the wall, she knew it was time to get up. After sending Li Lin away, she really wanted to crawl into bed and sleep a little longer.

But considering it's the first day back, it wouldn't be good to get up late. It would be too embarrassing for people to know that I hadn't been up to anything the night before.

I wanted to kick Da Luo out of bed, but seeing that he was sleeping soundly, I decided against it. Most men are thick-skinned and don't care about being suspected. Besides, this is his house, he can do whatever he wants.

Li Wei slowly dressed in her pajamas, tucked the blanket around the baby, and went downstairs. She went to the nursery first; the little girl was still asleep, but Luo Yiluo was already awake. Aunt Gao, Sister Wei, the two new aunties, and the baby's grandmother… five adults were surrounding the two children. Li Wei felt a pang of embarrassment. She wanted to turn away and leave, not wanting to join the crowd, and go to Grandma Luo's room to check on her; the elderly usually saw her mother when they were awake. Then, with a loud cry, the baby stretched out its little hand in Li Wei's direction—

Li Wei smiled helplessly at everyone, then went over and picked up the child. The child had just changed clothes and was quite dry, wearing a light green fleece-lined thin cotton jacket and pants, looking both fresh and adorable. However, the child's behavior was less than ideal; all of his chubby little hands reached out and grabbed at Li Wei's chest—

Li Wei casually tossed the warm baby bottle aside, saying, "I'm taking the baby to see Grandma," and quickly disappeared from the nursery.

She had no choice but to leave; this little brat was making her lose face completely. How could he ask for milk in public like that? Look at his brother Roy, he's much more gentlemanly, happily drinking from a bottle.

Li Wei took the child to Grandma Luo's place. The old lady had already gotten up and was sitting there drinking water. She felt her throat was dry when she woke up in the morning and, as usual, she drank a glass of warm water.

The old lady was delighted to see Li Wei bring her child and invited Li Wei to sit on the bed. Li Wei casually put her son on the bed. The little guy was probably full, as he ignored the bottle offered to him, his eyes still fixed on Li Wei's little hands with an unseemly gaze. Unfortunately, he was unable to move easily and didn't succeed in getting his way. However, he didn't cry or make a fuss, which was quite rare.

Last night, Cousin Zhong didn't come home with the adults. This morning, just before breakfast, she slowly came downstairs. Li Wei sat on the living room sofa, holding the little girl and feeding her water. Although she didn't particularly like Cousin Zhong, she still maintained basic politeness and smiled, saying, "Did you sleep well, cousin?"

Zhong Xin glanced at Li Wei and the child: "So you've really become the master now? It seems you two aren't even married, yet you've already had a child. And you swagger back to show off like this, how shameless! Humph!"

Li Wei was taken aback. She wasn't surprised to hear these words from someone else. But Zhong Xin was, after all, a relative; it was really unfair of her to Fei Si.

At that moment, everyone else was in the nursery, and those helping in the kitchen were there. Only Li Wei and the child were sitting on the sofa in the living room. It was probably because Zhong Xin saw that there were no outsiders that she dared to speak so rudely.

Li Wei stopped smiling. This kind of person just can't stand seeing others happy. There's no need to be so polite; it's a waste. Li Wei said indifferently, "I don't need you to worry about me, cousin. At least I won't eat someone's food and then curse them to their face. I don't care. But the child has the Luo surname. You should think carefully before you speak, cousin."

Seeing that no one was paying attention to what was happening, Zhong Xin leaned back on the sofa with her back to the kitchen and said, "That sounds nice, but who knows what tricks you used to deceive Luo Jianwei into pretending to be innocent so that others wouldn't see through your filthy thoughts? I've heard of far too many girls like you."

"Is that so? No matter what you've heard, no matter what Xiaoming is like, I'm willing to let her deceive me. I'm happy and I'm willing to do it. What's it to you? If you don't like us, you can leave right now. Nobody invited you to come and cause trouble for my family."

What the hell is this woman? She dares to spout nonsense and curse his wife and kids in his own home. Try that on anyone else. She's a real freak. I guess I'll have to talk to my parents and tell them to stop letting this woman come over.

While still half asleep, Da Luo couldn't find Li Wei on the bed. He glanced at the time and guessed she was up. After dozing off for a while, he felt it wasn't interesting to sleep alone. He put on the clothes Li Wei had prepared for him the night before and went downstairs to check on things. He was shocked to see this scene, which infuriated him.

It's only natural that his father-in-law and his wife disciplined him and Xiaoming, since Xiaoming is their daughter. But who does this damn Zhong Xin think she is! She actually came to their house and started barking like a madwoman.

The man stared at Zhong Xin's retreating figure as she snorted and walked towards the kitchen, clearly displeased. He turned to Li Wei, who was holding a child and feeding water to the little girl, and said, "If she talks to you like that again, slap her across the face. I'll cover for you afterwards. What a jerk!"

Li Wei smiled and said, "Ignore her. Let her drown in her own vinegar. You really don't know how much she used to envy you?"

The man came over, picked up the little girl, and kissed her twice: "What does it have to do with me? I can't be bothered with her. But no wonder my mom said she only got into a vocational high school this year. Turns out she's always been up to no good. What goes around comes around."

Li Wei chuckled: "It can't be that bad, can it? She just misjudged someone's taste, and that makes her seem malicious? And she even got what she deserved? I think you're much worse than her, haha..."

The man, holding his daughter, earnestly protested, "I was only taking what I was entitled to. When did I ever covet someone else's property?"

Li Wei —

She felt that she had become the person he deserved.
