Eighteen Beauties Development Plan

Eighteen Beauties Development Plan

Winter break is just around the corner, and the final exam results are out. As expected, the twins did well: Li Wei and Li Lin both got 100s, Li Lianhui got 98 and 99 respectively, Wu Feng got 100 and 98, and even Erpangzi got over 90. As for the Luo brothers, although Li Wei was quite annoyed by the conflicts with the twins—she, as an adult, couldn't argue with children, and often supervised their studies—they also surprisingly got over 90.

This surprised Li Wei greatly. Although the current textbooks were relatively simple and the exams were not very tricky, Li Wei estimated, without exaggeration, that the Luo brothers spent hours studying, and yet they still managed to do well on the exams, which was truly astonishing.

Li Wei suspected that either the two boys were too smart or too observant.

Teacher Meng was clearly very satisfied with their group, which often caused trouble. She gave Li Wei a "Three Good Student" certificate, two grid notebooks, and a plastic-covered diary, and praised her highly. This made the still-young Li Wei secretly happy. Vanity is something very few people don't have, and Li Wei certainly didn't lack it at all.

Winters in the north are bitterly cold and the outdoors are bleak, but the business at home is thriving.

With my mother joining us recently, both production and sales have increased. We're practically selling everything we produce, which is like making a fortune in my mother's eyes. We quickly hired two more women to produce goods, and by the Spring Festival, we had six more workers, with even more people selling and delivering goods in various places.

Due to increased production, the large stoves were so hot that the kang (a heated brick bed) was unusable for sleeping. Besides, the large stoves couldn't meet the production demands. So, a makeshift shed was temporarily erected in Li Wei's yard, and two large stoves were built to steam noodles. This reminded Li Wei of the illegal workshops that were often featured on television in later generations. It was a pity that there weren't even any illegal workshops now.

Li Wei no longer gets involved. Her mother has a sharp business sense, but her secret stash of money keeps growing. Now that her mother isn't strict with household management and provides ample allowances, Li Wei frequently takes advantage of this to ask her grandparents, parents, and even her father for funds, including for the twins. The twins have to ask Li Wei for money. So, aside from normal expenses, she saves it all in the bank. She needs to keep a close eye on it; it will be very useful in the future.

Before the Spring Festival, the steamed bun workshop was busier than ever. Although the adults didn't have time to take care of the children, Li Wei and the twins were still very happy. There was no other reason than that the family finally bought a TV, a 14-inch black and white Peony brand TV.

The happiest of all were the twins, who spent all day glued to the television. Luckily, television stations don't broadcast programs 24/7, otherwise Li Wei would have to find a way to limit their TV viewing.

Another good thing was that, although she hadn't officially reconciled with her aunt Cheng Fei, her grandfather paid for the day, and her aunt led the way, taking Li Wei and her two siblings on a day of shopping sprees in the city. Besides new clothes for the New Year, they bought a lot of other things. Li Wei was so excited that she almost burst into tears. It had been so long since she'd felt the joy of shopping sprees, even though the goods were rather disappointing.

In contrast to my mother and maternal grandmother's stubbornness, my aunt Chengfei was quite supportive of my grandfather selling steamed buns. My maternal grandmother, left to fend for herself, didn't say anything more after the New Year.

Anyway, my leisure time has become a bit more fulfilling.

Li Wei's daily routine consisted mainly of supervising the twins' homework and taking them for walks. Wu Feng and Erpangzi would sometimes come over. Besides homework, Li Wei would always get them steamed buns or something to eat. After all, not every family had a mountain of steamed buns and bread like hers.

Luo Er, who seems destined to clash with the twins, sometimes comes over to play with Li Lianhui. The two little ones, having forgotten their past hurts, seem quite happy. Li Wei, however, gets a headache whenever she sees Luo Er. Luo Da, on the other hand, always follows behind Grandpa Cheng, offering to hand him things, open doors, and lend a hand. He never accepts steamed buns or bread; he just follows along, seemingly a fan of Grandpa Cheng.

Li Wei watched coldly without saying a word. She thought to herself, "You little punk. You think you're so tough? If you're so capable, why are you so arrogant with everyone? Stand up straight and stop sucking up to me."

Last time, Luo Da cornered Li Wei. Although Li Wei and her friends outnumbered him and didn't suffer much, Li Wei's chest still hurt from Luo Da's impact. Luckily, she was still young and hadn't started developing yet. Even so, if her breasts didn't develop well and grew small in the future, it might be because of that brat Luo Da's dirty tricks. So, Li Wei harbored resentment whenever she saw him.

Furthermore, given that Luo Ertai was too naughty for Luo Da to handle, and that the twins were making good progress in their studies and had almost finished the second-grade textbooks, Li Wei formally proposed to her mother on New Year's Eve: "Mom, look how well we are doing in our studies. After the New Year, when school starts, could you go and talk to the principal and ask us to skip a grade and go straight to second grade?"

Cheng Min, Li Wei's mother, looked at her with some suspicion: "Skipping a grade is a good thing, but can you two do it? Xiao Hui didn't get two perfect scores." Cheng Min, who had a slight preference for sons over daughters, had always been a little upset that her youngest son hadn't gotten two perfect scores.

Li Wei knew what her mother was thinking, and said righteously, "In the national education system, 60 out of 100 is passing, 70 is average, 80 is good, and 90 is excellent. Your youngest son is excellent, so what's wrong with that? As for Xiaolin and I getting 100, it's not that Xiaohui isn't excellent, it's just that Xiaolin and I are too excellent, as excellent as can be. Mom, you just go and apply to the school, and leave the rest to your excellent eldest daughter. I won't let you down."

Li Wei finished praising herself without even blushing.

Li Zhaoxing has been very satisfied with the children's performance this year, except for the two times when Li Wei talked back to him and made an example of her. So he said to Li Wei, "We can talk to them and it won't be a big deal, but you two have to live up to expectations. If the school examines you later, it won't just be your own problem if you embarrass yourselves. I'll test you before school starts."

Li Wei knew this wasn't something that could be accomplished with just words; she needed to show some concrete results. So, after visiting her maternal grandmother's house on the second day of the Lunar New Year, she started making sure the twins studied regularly upon their return. Li Wei also brought Wu Feng and Erpangzi along—she couldn't help it; she'd grown attached to them. Moreover, given their loyalty and courage in resisting the Luo brothers' invasion, Li Wei decided to take them under her wing as her underlings. And underlings, of course, needed protection.

Let's work together to escape the clutches of the Luo brothers.

So, the three siblings passed their father's test relatively easily two days before school started. The reason I say relatively easily is that Li Lianhui is always careless when doing his homework and always misses strokes when writing characters, which makes Li Wei suspect that he is like Lin Daiyu, who is averse to the character "敏" (min, meaning sensitive/sensitive) in her mother's name, and therefore writes characters with fewer strokes.

However, Dad went to the school to apply for it, while Mom and Grandpa have been busy since the eighth day of the Lunar New Year.

The school exam was much easier than Li Zhaoxing's; it was just last year's second-grade final exam. All three siblings did quite well and passed, and were placed in the new class, Class 2, Grade 2.

Meanwhile, Erpangzi and Wu Feng also pressured their parents to apply to the school. Although their exam scores weren't as high as Li Wei's, they were still good enough that passing or failing wouldn't be an issue. However, under the immense pressure from Aunt Lin and Wu Feng's mother, Principal Chen gave in once again and assigned them to Class 2, Grade 2.

If the principal was still somewhat uneasy about Wu Feng and Erpangzi skipping grades, then the Luo brothers' request to skip grades made him shake his head completely. However, he couldn't withstand the overwhelming pressure of his third aunt's imposing and domineering aura.

Just as Aunt Luo's clutches were about to reach Principal Chen's arm, Principal Chen had no choice but to give in once again. Alas, when a scholar encounters a soldier, reason will never prevail.

In Principal Chen's nearly thirty years of teaching career, this is the first time he has seen people skipping grades so enthusiastically, so competitively, and so disregarding their level and ability. Is skipping grades now as cheap as cabbage?

Li Wei had only been in the second-grade classroom with her four children for less than two days. On the morning of the second day of school, she was surprised to see the Luo brothers sitting in front of her and the twins, just like before. At first, Li Wei thought she had gone to the wrong classroom, but upon closer inspection, all the other students were new faces. It was the right classroom.

It wasn't until after two classes that Li Wei accepted this cruel reality: the Luo brothers really had followed her everywhere!

Good heavens, is there no law anymore? Principal Chen, although I know your principles are questionable, you were raised on the classics, you should still have some backbone! Although Aunt Luo is powerful, the Luo brothers are also dangerous! Don't poison the flowers of our motherland like this...

Principal Chen sneezed several times in his office.

No matter how much Li Wei complained, the fact that the little devils were still sitting in the front seats was still ruthlessly presented to her.

Sigh, life is like a tangled mess, with always two little knots that you can't untie.

Moreover, Li Wei suspected that every time her gaze swept across the two brothers' faces, Luo Da seemed to be mocking her. "What a little brat he is," Li Wei comforted herself, "I must be overthinking it."

Of course, the new school life wasn't without its highlights. The future school's renowned sports beauties, Chen Wei and Zhou Yujie, were in this class. Li Wei remembered them as idols during her elementary school years. Chen Wei excelled in long jump and sprinting, while Zhou Yujie was outstanding in sprinting and middle-distance running. In her previous life, Li Wei often saw them practicing on the playground in spring and autumn, as if they were preparing for some competition.

Li Wei's athletic ability was average, so she especially admired her classmates who were very smart and beautiful at the sports meet.

However, they are still young and haven't had many opportunities to perform, nor are they very famous.

As the weather gradually warmed up, and seeing the pretty young woman constantly in front of her, Li Wei's heart began to flutter with romantic feelings.

On the road to a blissful life as a beautiful woman, she has already taken the first step: changing her name. And she possesses a crucial economic advantage—her family is now nouveau riche. And given her mother's personality, their wealth will likely continue to grow.

One evening, my mother said to her three children with deep affection, "This is how your mother's life is going to be. You three must continue to work hard and study hard so that you can go to university in the future. Then all my hard work will have been worthwhile."

His words seemed to suggest that he had resigned himself to his declining business career.

Li Wei was secretly delighted.

So Li Wei seriously considered the external conditions for becoming a beauty: a pretty face and a good figure. The standard for a pretty face is hard to define, and she was considered pretty as she grew up. But there was a basic requirement—fair and smooth skin; fair skin covers a hundred flaws, right? Neither of her parents were dark-skinned, especially her mother, whose skin was quite fair, so there was still potential to improve if she started paying attention to skincare. She wrote this down in her diary, which she had earned as a model student.

As for her figure, Li Wei was somewhat resentful. The twins grew up to be over 1.8 meters tall and 1.7 meters tall respectively, so why could she only claim to be 1.6 meters tall when she was actually less than 1.6 meters? Her ideal height was greater than 1.65 meters and less than 1.68 meters, and she noted that down.

Another standard for a good figure is the three measurements, with bust size being the most important. Li Wei noted this down.

After thinking it over carefully for a long time, Li Wei felt that there was still hope if she worked hard now. So she wrote down two pages of various improvement measures from her memory, and highlighted the key points that could be implemented at the moment, and began to prepare.

First, I secretly "applied" for funds from my grandfather and bought a basketball and a sun hat. At Li Lin's strong request, I added another sun hat.

Li Wei earnestly applied for funds from her mother to purchase a dairy goat at the farmers' market to temporarily replace the cows, and also bought a bottle of children's skincare oil at a store, which Li Lin insisted on using. The rate of consumption was alarming; Li Wei had to buy a new bottle every two weeks.

Every ten days or so, they would buy a pig's trotter and stew it with soybeans, peanuts, and other ingredients. Everyone except my grandfather could share it; the rest of the family disliked it.

As for height-boosting foods such as sardines, spinach, carrots, and oranges, except for sardines which are hard to buy, I eat one of the others every day.

I rationally applied for funding from my father and carefully purchased a book on beauty, health, and fitness from the Xinhua Bookstore in the city, along with a copy of "A Positive Attitude Towards Life," "The Road to English," and "An English-Chinese Dictionary" as a cover.

So far, the most difficult thing to consume is goat milk. Li Lin and Li Lianhui refuse to drink it, and their parents also hate the taste. Only their grandfather and Li Wei insist on drinking a small cup every morning and then frowning at each other. Li Wei also takes it out and uses it as face wash and even shower gel morning and night.

As for basketball, I had my grandfather build me a simple hoop, and I exercise with it for a while every day. It's said that this exercise is good for growing taller; haven't you seen that basketball players are all quite tall?

Although short people can't become athletes.

The only problem was that Li Lianhui, Fatty Er, and even Luo Er and others always came to cause trouble, which eventually turned into a football game.

And so, Li Wei spent a whole semester going through a dizzying array of changes, with noticeable results. Aside from her breasts remaining unchanged, she grew a little taller, and her skin became fair and radiant—as her grandfather would say, just like a city kid. Li Wei didn't dare ask which city kid she was referring to; city kids come in all sorts of colors, after all.

Regardless, Li Wei decided to grit her teeth and persevere until it became a habit. She was determined to gradually implement the methods in the beauty and skincare secrets, and she would not give up until she became a beauty, vowing to carry the beauty revolution through to the end.

A famous woman once said that beauty is never superfluous for a woman.
