Eighty Meal Delivery Agreement

Eighty Meal Delivery Agreement

Li Wei was furious that Luo Er and Erpangzi were holding her back. They were really good friends, having grown up together since they were little kids.

However, Luo Er and his friends were no longer the children she used to be, easily beaten and scolded. They had grown thick-skinned, tough, and strong. Even if it were just one of them, let alone both of them, Li Wei couldn't do anything to them. Li Wei jumped up and down a couple of times before giving up, then reluctantly threatened Luo Er, "Luo Er, you wait! Tomorrow I'll get your brother to deal with you!"

Luo Da owes her a huge debt of gratitude, so she can't be polite when she needs his help.

Luo Er hesitated for a moment, but then suddenly remembered something and wasn't so scared anymore. Instead, he smiled and pulled Li Wei to continue watching Li Lianhui play ball.

Because of her short stature, Li Wei was sandwiched between two people, with someone blocking her view in front of her, making her feel very frustrated.

Just as she was getting anxious, a burst of cheers suddenly came from the crowd, and the crowd became less congested. Luo Er and Fatty Er simultaneously let go of Li Wei and squeezed in.

Li Wei, now free, squeezed in as well. She saw Li Lianhui take a wad of money from a chubby boy, throw down his golf club, and look in Luo Er's direction. His initially excited face immediately fell when he saw Li Wei.

Li Wei didn't know what to say. She grabbed Li Lianhui and pulled him outside. Luo Er and Erpangzi saw this and quickly picked up the three of their schoolbags and followed behind.

Just as she reached the stairwell, the nearest door suddenly opened, startling Li Wei, who was focused on walking. She looked up and saw...Luo Da!

Good heavens, what's going on here? One by one, even a sensible child like Luo Da is running off to a place like this instead of going home after school. Li Wei was speechless and just stared at Luo Da.

Luo Da didn't move. Two more people came out behind him; Li Wei recognized them too—wasn't it that guy... the one with the sling? What was his name again? She was so angry with them that her head was starting to spin. Oh, she remembered, Shen Tao. With him around, nothing good could possibly happen.

Another, older man came out and saw that everyone was standing around a girl, not moving. He asked, puzzled, "What's wrong? Do you all know each other?"

Luo Dadao: "Okay. Brother Gang, I'm leaving. Next time they come over, you'll have to pay a little more."

Gang smiled and said, "No, we're brothers, aren't we? You guys can come over and hang out often. No need to squeeze in with them. Come inside."

"Okay," Luo Da replied, and led the way.

Shen Tao smiled at Li Wei and followed her downstairs.

Li Wei was truly at her wit's end. She couldn't even handle Luo Er and the others now. She'd never been able to handle Luo Da before. She forcefully pulled Li Lianhui, saying, "What are you looking at? Hurry up and go!" and followed him downstairs.

Once on the street, Li Wei took a deep breath of fresh air. Finally emerging from the stove, she realized that the stale air in the shop made it seem like a terrible place.

He looked up at Luo Da, who was talking to Shen Tao ahead, and then glanced at the three boys beside him. "Sigh, sons grow up and are no longer under their father's control!" He didn't know why, but the saying came to mind.

After walking a few steps, Shen Tao picked up his bicycle, which he had left by the roadside. He said goodbye to Li Wei before leaving, but she ignored him. Shen Tao smiled, not minding, and rode off. Surprisingly, his one arm didn't hinder his cycling at all. He rode with ease.

Then Li Lianhui and the others also took bicycles, but none of them rode them; they walked alongside Li Wei.

Li Wei noticed that Luo Da wasn't carrying his schoolbag and asked, "Luo Jianhua, what brings you here? Do you know all those people?"

Luo Da slowed his pace: "What? A lot of these people are our elementary school classmates, and you don't recognize them? There are also the boys in our current class. Don't tell me you don't recognize any of them?"

Li Wei was a little embarrassed. Apart from the four of them, she didn't really recognize anyone else. Besides, the place was so smoky and chaotic, she didn't have the time to look at anyone else. She was a little embarrassed and angry: "Don't change the subject. You're not staying at home after school. You're out so late and not coming home. You're playing ball and gambling in that place. I'll tell my grandpa!"

Not only could Old Master Cheng control Li Zhaoxing, but another powerful figure, Luo Da, was also under his jurisdiction. It could be said that Li Wei's maternal grandfather, within the Cheng family's relatives and even the neighbors, could subdue anyone who dared to disobey.

When Grandpa Cheng was mentioned, Luo Da had to be careful and explained, "It's alright. That place is run by the older brother of one of my elementary school classmates. I've already spoken to him. He'll take care of Xiao Er and Li Lianhui when they go there, and he won't let them go back so late again. Don't worry."

Upon hearing this, it seemed like they were giving Li Lianhui and his friends the green light to go out and have fun. "Is this how you do things?" Li Wei said in an unfriendly tone. "Going back too early isn't allowed either. They're not just playing around; they're gambling, you know? This is gambling! What is gambling? It's eating, drinking, whoring, gambling, drugs, cheating, swindling, and stealing—it's the fourth worst vice!" She hadn't really noticed that eating and drinking were ranked so high until she lectured Luo Er and the others. "What's wrong with eating and drinking a little?" Li Wei thought, somewhat annoyed. She seemed to actually enjoy eating and drinking.

Luo Da glanced at Luo Er and the other two. He was most afraid of Li Lianhui and Erpangzi because they might have to face their parents' slaps later. Luo Er wasn't as scared because his mafia uncle Luo San wasn't home and his brother was at the crime scene, so he figured they wouldn't do anything to him.

If he doesn't manage to get to the bottom of things with her sister on the way home, Li Lianhui is probably in for a rough time. Although his mother isn't as formidable as his father, she can still be quite terrifying when she gets angry.

Seeing the pleading looks from Li Lianhui and Erpangzi, Luo Da couldn't bring himself to ignore them. After hesitating for a while, just as Li Lianhui and Erpangzi were about to despair, he spoke up: "Um, Xiaoming..."

"Please call me Li Wei. I told you ages ago that I changed my name. What a forgetful memory!" Li Wei was still resentful of Luo Da for leading the way in causing trouble.

Luo Dalue was a little embarrassed, but he still had to continue: "Li Wei, how about you don't tell the adults this time? I promise them I won't gamble anymore and I won't come home late. What do you say?"

Li Wei glanced at Luo Da, who looked quite serious, but said, "You promise! Didn't you come to play too? And it's so late, isn't it? As for whether you gambled or not... I didn't see it, so tell me, is your promise convincing?"

Luo Da was momentarily speechless, then simply asked Li Wei, "So what do you suggest we do so without telling our families?"

Li Wei hadn't really thought about this. She just wanted to teach Li Lianhui a lesson so he wouldn't go astray in the future. She was about to refuse Luo Da's sudden offer when a thought struck her. Wouldn't it be better if they could discipline themselves? If she told their families, and they were pressured by the adults, and then rebelled, wouldn't that be even more troublesome? She would have been the bad guy for nothing.

Thinking of this, Li Wei softened her tone: "Not telling your family isn't impossible, but you have to show some sincerity. Promise that you won't do it again. Only if you're truly sincere will I consider it. Think about it yourselves. If you haven't come up with a solution before you get home, don't blame me for not giving you a chance."

After saying that, Li Wei wasn't as angry as before. Her mood calmed down, and she walked home unhurriedly. Now, they were probably the ones who were anxious.

Sure enough, after a brief discussion, the group finally came up with a plan just before they were about to get home: they would promise not to gamble or come home late, and whoever broke their promise would have to take Li Wei home by bike for lunch for a month.

In other words, he would be Li Wei's free lunch driver for a month.

Li Wei broke out in a cold sweat. She wondered who came up with this idea; it was so sophisticated, and she really couldn't refuse. Since they were already offering to take her home for lunch, they certainly wouldn't mind bringing her lunch from home—freshly cooked, piping hot, and fragrant. Just thinking about it, in the dead of winter…

Seeing the eager looks in their eyes, Li Wei softened slightly and reluctantly nodded: "Alright, seeing how sincere you are, I'll let you off this time. But I have to add one thing: if you do it again, not only will I bring you lunch, but I'll also tell your parents to deal with you. So, if there really is a next time, don't blame me for being ruthless."

Li Lianhui nodded hurriedly. Luo Er also chimed in with a grin, "Don't worry, we'll definitely keep our word. A man's word is his bond, we promise we won't bring you lunch, hehe."

Seeing that Li Wei had finally relented, the tense atmosphere finally lifted again. When they arrived at Li Wei's house, Luo Da, Luo Er'er, and the fat guy all got on their bicycles and left.

Li Wei kept her word. Not only did she not mention the matter, but she also covered for Li Lianhui, saying that he had gone to a classmate's house to study. This made her mother quite happy, thinking that her youngest son, now in junior high school, had become more sensible and knew to study on his own initiative. She hugged Li Lianhui and gave him a big kiss, making him quite embarrassed, his face turning red.

As Li Wei watched, she thought to herself, "Kid, it's good that you know shame. All my efforts weren't in vain." Although the effect was still quite good, she was still a little uncomfortable about lying to her mother, so she slipped upstairs early, washed up, and went to bed.

The next day, Luo Da came to pick up Li Wei as usual. Cheng Min appreciated Luo Da's selfless act and smiled broadly when she saw him arrive so early: "Luo Da, you're here so early today! Have you eaten yet? My Xiaoming is really always troubling you like this. I feel so bad for him..."

Luo Da was really used to being a driver, as if it were his duty. Hearing Cheng Min say that, he felt a little embarrassed and didn't know what to say. He stood there awkwardly.

Fortunately, Li Wei saw that he had arrived and felt bad for keeping him waiting. She quickly finished her porridge, tidied herself up, and came downstairs with her schoolbag to rescue him.

Li Wei climbed onto the back of the bicycle and settled in. How Luo Da got on was his business. Ever since she accidentally fell off once, Li Wei no longer waited for Luo Da to get on before jumping on herself.

Thinking back to that day after school, so many classmates were watching. Honestly, she had never been so embarrassed in her past life.
