It's not easy for 293 people to have families to support.

It's not easy for 293 people to have families to support.

Of the girls Wei knew, Ding Anni had never been involved in any scandals and was rarely seen. Wei didn't know much about either of them.

She asked during the phone call, but the two suspiciously similar people both said no, which Li Wei found hard to believe.

Given their personalities and appearances, it's hard to imagine that these two are not to be underestimated. If it weren't for their families or Li Wei keeping a close eye on them during high school, they probably would have made their move long ago.

Now that they're free and liberated, will they behave themselves?

Anyway, Cheng Min, Cheng Fei's mother, didn't believe it, and Cheng Fei didn't believe that her sister-in-law would behave herself.

But after three years of university, the two of them hadn't even brought back a single boy, which was truly astonishing.

These are two rather unusual cases, while cases like Zhou Xiaoyan's are more normal.

What's even more normal is that Song Xuejiao got married on May Day this year and gave birth to a son on Children's Day, basically completing most of the major life events.

As for Cai Lianhua and Lin Xiao, although they live in the same city, they haven't been in much contact and I don't know their current situation.

Wu Feng is said to have a boyfriend. This summer, she called to say that she was participating in a social activity at school and did not come back.

Meanwhile, Zhong Yanni, the eldest daughter of Da Luo's second aunt, has maintained close contact with Li Wei. She now works at the Education Bureau and is said to be getting married on National Day. Li Wei estimates that she will have to make time to come back then.

Now Li Wei is very comfortable with seeing the radiant beauty.

Fortunately, Zhou Xiaoyan was originally a cheerful person. Now, after spending a few years away from home, she's become even more cheerful and outgoing. After only a few words, she was already clamoring to go see Li Wei's children.

The children ate breakfast at their maternal grandmother's house. They then played with Dingding there and didn't come back.

Li Wei told her mother-in-law, and then took Zhou Xiaoyan and her boyfriend to her mother's house to see the children.

The three of them, led by Dingding, were playing in the sand next to a small sand pile in the Li family's courtyard. They were filling sand with a set of toy shovels and buckets, and then hauling it away in Roy and Roll's little truck. The four of them were having a great time.

Grandpa Cheng, Grandma Cheng, and Sister Wei watched and smiled. Cheng Min brought out a tray of drinks from the house, about to invite the children to wash their hands and have something to drink. Seeing Li Wei and Zhou Xiaoyan arrive, she quickly greeted them, "Oh, it's Xiaoyan! It's been so many years! I saw your parents the other day. They said you'd be back in a few days. Come in and sit down. Come on, have something to drink."

Of all the girls, Cheng Min thought Zhou Xiaoyan was quite good. She was good at studying and didn't cause trouble, unlike Li Wei, who dashed all her expectations back then. The disappointment was too great. Thinking about it, if Li Wei had been well-behaved, she would have ended up like Zhou Xiaoyan.

But thinking about it carefully, Zhou Xiaoyan is at her current level, and no matter what she does, she can't be more successful than her son Xiaoming. Not to mention his ability to make money, even in the future, Xiaoming has basically accomplished all the major life events that he should be doing: dating, getting married, and having children.

As for the future, it's all about pursuing a career, and there's nothing holding her back anymore, so she can focus on her work wholeheartedly. In a few years, when everyone has families to support, Cheng Min thinks that her eldest daughter, who almost drove her to her death, will be in a completely different situation.

Despite her thoughts, looking at Zhou Xiaoyan now, compared to Li Lin and Li Lianhui, Cheng Min still felt that Zhou Xiaoyan was more agreeable.

Li Lin and Li Lianhui haven't made a sound at all. Her family is really a mess. It's terrifying in the morning and worrying at night. Why can't they have a normal family?

What if, by the time we graduate, all the good ones have already been taken, leaving only the mediocre ones?

Parents everywhere worry about their children, whether it's early in the morning or late at night, and there's really no suitable solution.

Zhou Xiaoyan greeted Grandpa Cheng and his wife, as well as Cheng Min. When she looked down and saw the three little ones in Li Wei's family, she couldn't help but laugh. She already knew there were three, so she wasn't that surprised.

She squatted down, touching this one and hugging that one. Although the little ones who were having a great time were very unhappy that someone was disturbing their enjoyment, under Li Wei's usual guidance, they still pouted and politely greeted Aunt Zhou.

Zhou Xiaoyan was completely captivated and kept exclaiming, "Hey, Li Wei, your child is so cute, so adorable! Haha, I wish you could give me one, tsk tsk, so fun, hehe."

Li Wei looked at her as if she were playing with a doll, completely ignoring the three little brats' impatient expressions. To her satisfaction, no matter how unhappy or impatient they were, none of them said anything and they basically maintained their politeness.

Zhou Xiaoyan liked them for a while before letting the three siblings go. The little girl, holding a small shovel, shoveled sand while muttering under her breath, "So naughty, so ignorant, can't you see we're busy?"

Li Wei spat out a mouthful of juice with a "pfft," her tone and manner sounding exactly like how she usually scolded the three of them.

The child's maternal grandmother, Cheng Min, and the old lady were so happy they could hardly stand up straight. Zhou Xiaoyan picked up the little girl and gave her a big kiss: "Little girl, I'll keep you busy, hehe."

The little girl rolled her eyes and endured the harassment. Her mother had said that if a girl kissed her like that, it meant she liked her, and she shouldn't get angry.

If it's a boy, he'll immediately turn hostile and refuse to let anyone else kiss him except his father, grandfather, maternal grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, second uncle, third uncle, aunt, maternal grandfather, etc.

Zhou Xiaoyan put down Xiaoya, who was on the verge of reaching her limit, sat down at a small round table under a parasol, took a sip of her drink, and said to Li Wei, "I really envy you now. I thought it would be so chaotic taking care of so many children. My cousin on my aunt's side had a child, and it's about the same size now. Good heavens, you wouldn't believe it, it's a constant commotion, like the end of the world. The kids are always fussy and sick, and the adults are always arguing, it's just unbelievable!"

Li Wei smiled and said, "Life is pretty much the same for everyone. Actually, all children are hard to raise. It's just that my kids are relatively healthy and rarely get sick, but they're incredibly mischievous. My family is the same as always. Families with children are all pretty much the same. It's just that you see them playing obediently now and think it's good. We don't have it easy either. It's just that we don't have time to argue. We're too busy taking care of them to have time to argue."

Zhou Xiaoyan nodded: "With so many adorable children, I reckon Luo Jianhua will be in a good mood, so why bother arguing?"

Li Wei wiped it again with a puff, thinking to herself that her husband was in a bad mood. Other people were at most third parties, but her husband had become a fifth party.

It had been many years since they last met Zhou Xiaoyan, and she was still as talkative as ever. Li Wei, on the other hand, listened more and spoke less, watching with a smile as Zhou Xiaoyan chatted on and on about interesting things about her classmates, relatives, and friends.

Those things really stirred something in Li Wei. It seems that she is no longer a simple student after all. What she has experienced in the past few years is equivalent to what others would experience in ten or eight years. Mentally, she has finally officially distanced herself from Zhou Xiaoyan.

Zhou Xiaoyan was clearly unaware of this.

Li Wei naturally invited Zhou Xiaoyan and her boyfriend to have lunch together, and then coaxed the three little ones, who had been bathed and were clean and looked like ginseng dolls, to take a nap.

Dingding was fine, but she was a little tired from playing. Cheng Min gave her a bath, changed her clothes, and she went to sleep with the three little ones.

Li Wei whispered to Zhou Xiaoyan, "See? I can only really relax when my three kids are the same age as Dingding. Right now, it's still too early. So when you get married, don't have children too early. It's so much better to enjoy a few more years of just the two of you."

Zhou Xiaoyan and her boyfriend smiled at each other, but didn't say anything, and there was no shyness at all.

"Zhou Xiaoyan is going out this afternoon. It would be best if you brought your children along. Let my mom take care of a bunch of kids for you. I don't know how much they suffer, how pitiful they are. It makes me sad just thinking about it. Please do me a good deed to put my mom's mind at ease."

Li Wei smiled and agreed, saying that if she had nothing to do in the next couple of days, she would take the children there for a visit, as the children hadn't been back to town yet.

I really miss the old house and the little river at the entrance of the village. I wonder if it's still as clear as it was when I was a child.

When Da Luo returned home that evening, Li Wei told him about Zhou Xiaoyan. Da Luo thought for a moment and said, "Sigh, luckily we had a child and got married early, otherwise how long would you have dragged it out before you got married? You might even have graduated from university and still be single. With your slowness, I reckon you might never have gotten married. Luckily you met someone as smart as me, hehe."

Li Wei slapped him: "What kind of twisted logic is that? With my beauty and intelligence, how could I possibly be unable to get married? That's laughable. As for you, with your insatiable lust, if you hadn't been so infatuated with me that you forgot to do anything bad, you probably would have found countless girls long ago and ended up being sent for re-education. Don't call me slow-witted, I'm not slow-witted at all."

The guy, who had been holding back, couldn't hold back any longer: "Actually, there's some truth to my saying you're oblivious. Today, I had dinner and drinks with Geng Xinyang and two guys from your old class. Guess what? This guy said he really wanted to pursue you back then, but I thwarted his plans. He said a lot of guys in your class were eyeing you, but they never had a chance. Actually, I noticed that back then, but you didn't seem to realize it. I thought you were preoccupied with someone else, but now that I think about it, you really are a bit naive."

Li Wei was displeased. What did she mean by "a little silly"? Why did she have to pay attention to these trivial matters? "What other people like is none of my business. I didn't go looking for trouble. I'll fulfill my own dreams. Don't you know that's called being wise in a foolish way? Really!"

Seeing that Li Wei was indeed unhappy, he said, "My dear wife, you are a person of great wisdom. People of great wisdom are almost like fools."

Is this how you praise someone? Li Wei -_-
