One hundred and sixty people, a ghost love story

One hundred and sixty people, a ghost love story

There was a martial arts class in the evening, so Li Wei and her two siblings ate dinner early, packed their things, took a taxi, and headed straight to the martial arts school.

It was cold and the roads were slippery, so both Li Wei and Li Lin wore thick-soled cotton boots. Li Wei didn't care about keeping a low profile and wore a long mink fur coat, while Li Lin wore a short one for ease of movement.

Li Lianhui, that simpleton, relied entirely on his strong constitution to sleep on the cold kang (heated brick bed). He wore a regular cotton-padded coat and thick sneakers, with the hood pulled up, and didn't even wear gloves. Li Wei touched his hand; it was still warm, a stark contrast to her own icy hands covered in thick leather gloves. It was truly infuriating to compare oneself to others.

Even Li Lin was much better off than her; her legs, clad in jeans under her short fur coat, were jumping around quite energetically, showing no signs of feeling cold.

Li Wei was bundled up in a big hoodie, a small hat, a mask, gloves, and a scarf—almost armed to the teeth—to keep warm. It seems that exercise is indeed very necessary, at least it can speed up blood circulation.

As usual, Li Lianhui went to the boys' class upstairs, while Li Wei and her sister went to the girls' practice room. They arrived relatively early. The weather was cold, and the students were often late and absent. Anyway, most of them were just there to exercise, so missing one or two classes wouldn't be a big deal.

The two sisters went to the dressing room to change their clothes first. Li Lin felt uneasy leaving their coats in the dressing room, worried about what would happen if they got lost. After changing, she took her and her sister's coats and took them upstairs to the office for storage.

They were all students, so Li Wei didn't think it was a big deal. She just smiled and didn't say anything about Li Lin's petty nature. She picked up the small stainless steel thermos she had brought from home and went to the practice room.

Li Wei was stretching her joints when Li Lin ran back a moment later, walked up to Li Wei mysteriously, and whispered, "Sis, guess what I just saw?"

Li Wei wasn't interested in playing riddles with her: "I don't have time to guess, tell me if you want."

Li Lin, feeling snubbed, pouted and muttered, "You're really uncooperative. Let me tell you, sis, I just saw Sixth Senior Brother and Brother Hua sparring again. Oh dear, Brother Hua got beaten up by Sixth Senior Brother! His nose is bleeding and his face is all bruised. He looks terrible."

Li Wei paused for a moment, then continued moving her hands and feet: "You're only just realizing that? You've had bruises all over your body before, haven't you? What's so strange about that? You're always sparring with people. How can you avoid getting beaten up!" You get used to it after a while.

Li Lin pouted, "I've never seen so much blood before. It's really scary. What if it all bleeds out?"

Seeing Li Lin's anger, Li Wei said, "Don't worry. Sixth Brother will definitely stop before Liu Guang. He won't take your Brother Hua's life! Do you know what your Brother Hua's zodiac sign is? He's like a cockroach. He's not so easy to kill... By the way, you can call him Brother Qiang from now on. Xu Wenqiang's 'Qiang' is just like a cockroach. Hehe..."

Li Lin's exaggerated expression vanished. She said with obvious dissatisfaction, "Sister, you're so cold-blooded. Hua Ge is your lover, after all. You don't even care if he lives or dies. What a waste of Hua Ge's passion! He risked his life for you, climbing windows and jumping off buildings. Isn't that called marrying the wrong person? I really can't stand it anymore..."

Li Wei almost choked on her own saliva: "You brat! What are you saying? Watch your words!"

Li Lin chuckled, "Sis, don't think I don't know what you did last night. I was thinking of going to the bathroom after you came back, but you didn't come back for ages. I couldn't hold it in any longer, so I had to squeeze in with you. But when I got to the bathroom, you were gone, hehe. I specifically looked in the living room. You weren't there, and you weren't in the kitchen either. I was thinking, where could you have gone, hehe..."

Li Wei said somewhat awkwardly, "It's alright. Didn't you check if I was flushed down the toilet? Grab a plunger and try to find me."

"Hehe, sis, I really wanted to, but no matter how I look at it, there's no way you could fit in the toilet drainpipe, hehe..."

Li Wei stopped moving around and simply sat on the floor, picked up the small water bottle, took a sip of water, screwed on the cap, and said, "You've certainly thought of plenty of outlandish ideas, but why didn't you think of rousing everyone to find your lost lamb sister? Otherwise, if my little lamb gets eaten by wolves, who will care about your food, drink, and sleep? I've seen through you, you damn girl, you're the cold-blooded one. You didn't find me, and you actually went back to bed and fell asleep. You're so heartless."

If that brat had found her off Luo Da, why would she have been bitten by that ruthless, lustful wretch Luo Da so early in the morning, until her mouth was numb?

Li Lin chuckled and squeezed next to Li Wei, nudging her sister with her elbow in a suggestive way: "Hey sis, it's not that I think, but actually, if you and Hua Ge had gotten together sooner, you wouldn't have to go to school, and we'd be more relaxed. Look how closely you watch over Xiao Hui and me all day, like you're supervising us. I can't do anything I want. Besides, I think Hua Ge is pretty good, much more reliable than Xiao Hui. If he could be my brother-in-law, if anything happens, I'll just ask him to stand up for me, and see who dares to bully me!"

Li Wei automatically ignored Li Lin's complaints and nonsense: "What, did a classmate bully you? Who was it?" Who would be so bold as to bully Li Lin? It's good enough that she doesn't bully others. This girl is not someone to be trifled with.

Li Lin: "Who dares to bully me? I'm just saying. Anyway, I think Brother Hua is pretty awesome. I wish he were my brother. Then I could take him out and stand there, and say to people, 'This is my brother!' Sis, do you think I'd be able to walk around with my head held high from now on?"

If she took her sister out and stood there, saying to people, "This is my sister!" Li Lin estimated that it would attract a swarm of bees and butterflies.

Li Wei scrutinized Li Lin, then said in an unfriendly tone, "Are you trying to join the underworld? Or are you just looking for a wild goose chase? You think you can walk sideways like that? Let me tell you, Lin, if you really want to walk sideways, don't rely on others. Fatten yourself up, and that'll be pretty much the same as walking sideways. By then, you can walk sideways, or even roll around like a madman!"

Li Lin noticed that her sister was a little angry, so she quickly smiled apologetically: "Hehe, sis, I was just saying that. Actually, I just saw that Brother Hua treats you really well. I just wanted to create an opportunity for you two. I was just trying to be nice."

Li Wei got even angrier: "Stop being so kind! Focus on your studies right now, and worry less about everything else. Also, if you find out I've mysteriously disappeared again, for your sister's sake, you'd better look for me properly, you hear me!"

Li Lin: "Huh?...Okay, okay, but...Sis, why did you disappear? You weren't lost, were you?" Could it be that she underestimated how silly her sister was?

Seeing that some classmates had entered the practice room, Li Wei quickly said, "Why so many questions? Just remember what I said. Also, I'm your older sister, so please side with me if anything happens. Got it?"

After Li Wei finished speaking, she stood up and continued her warm-up exercises.

Li Lin thought for a moment, feeling a little confused. Seeing someone come in, she didn't ask any questions. She also started moving her joints and limbs.

After practicing for more than an hour, during the five-minute break, Li Wei wiped her sweat with a towel, told Li Lin, and went to the restroom.

Neither Cai Lianhua nor Cousin Zhong came today. Li Wei suddenly realized that if Cousin Zhong kept missing classes like this, as long as she made sure she didn't miss a single lesson, she might surpass Zhong Xin in skill over time. Then… maybe, like Li Lin said, she could be all-powerful in this training class, hehe…

She has nothing to fear, whether it's real combat or virtual combat.

Returning from the restroom, Li Wei felt quite happy and resolved to pay attention in class and never slack off. She was happily daydreaming when a door in the hallway opened. Li Wei instinctively turned her head to look. Blue and purple bruises—a ghost!

Before she could even scream, she was dragged inside by the ghost. Li Wei used all her strength to fight the ghost, punching, kicking, and biting it... This ghost seemed quite warm...

And the ghost smell is quite familiar. Isn't this the ghost from the legend who got his nostrils pierced and bleeding by the sixth senior brother?

Li Wei's small frame was no match for a heavyweight ghost like Luo Da. She was quickly trapped and unable to move. Just as she was about to find a spot on the ghost to bite it again to vent her anger, she thought she had bitten the ghost's hand, but before she could actually bite it, the ghost's hand broke free.

The ghost above spoke: "Don't move, let me kiss you one more time..." There wasn't enough time this morning, so he didn't get to kiss you enough, and he's been thinking about it all day.

Damn it, this devilish person thinks she's his cat or dog, that he can just kiss her whenever he wants! Why didn't Sixth Senior Brother beat her up? Instead, she's out here causing trouble! Sixth Senior Brother, you shouldn't be called Black Hand anymore, just call yourself Strainer.

Li Wei felt she couldn't let Luo Da succeed, otherwise she'd never be able to stand up straight again, and could be grabbed and nibbled at any time. In the long run, she'd really become Luo Da's carrot.

She must rise up and fight back!

Li Wei used her only movable head to fumble around like a rattle drum, no matter which direction she was in, until the ghost grabbed the back of her head and fixed her hair in place. She couldn't move anymore. Just as she was about to open her mouth to call for help, she felt a little scared. What if Luo Da got excited and pulled out her hair?

Gui Luo didn't pull her hair, but started biting her mouth again. Why does it taste salty and bloody...?

Li Wei was gritting her teeth, struggling with someone, when suddenly the door behind her opened. Luo Da stopped biting her and looked up. Li Wei couldn't help but turn her head to look back as well...

"Ah!" Li Lin screamed in a high-pitched voice, her voice trembling with fear.

Actually, it's no wonder Li Lin was so surprised. Anyone who saw two people with blood on their mouths and chins biting each other in the dim light, then looking up at you like vampires, would have fainted if Li Lin hadn't been quite brave.

The scene was indescribably terrifying and eerie.

One of the larger vampires even had two bright red streaks of blood trailing from its nose—
