Sixty-two freshly made matchmakers

Sixty-two freshly made matchmakers

Aunt Zhao Chunyan, Luo's third aunt, was a very proactive person. She did what she thought of, and the next day, she rode on the back of Luo Da's bicycle and went to school.

In response to Luo Da's question, Luo San's aunt replied: "I saw that you caused your teacher a lot of trouble, so I came to express my gratitude. Yesterday was too chaotic, and I didn't have time to say anything." It seems she didn't have time for kind words, as she was busy arguing and cursing.

As for Li Wei, she originally planned to ride her bicycle to school by herself today, but as soon as she left her house, she saw Luo Er riding his bicycle past her house happily. She quickly called out, abandoned her bicycle, and ran to Luo Er, riding on his bike. The seat was still on Luo Da's bike, so the back seat was a bit cramped, but she'd have to make do.

Luckily, Luo Er came out a few minutes earlier than his brother, otherwise, if Luo San's aunt had seen her enslaving someone else's second son again, she would have definitely rushed up and scratched her. It's also because she didn't expect Luo San's aunt to come to the school today, otherwise she wouldn't have dared to fight with Luo San's aunt for her son even if she had the guts.

Before entering the classroom, Li Wei instructed Luo Er, "Remember to put the little cushion from your brother's back seat on your back seat, don't forget. Oh... by the way, call me after school, if I come out first I'll wait for you in the bike shed." Let's find someone else, we can't go against the grain. Teacher Liu has a hard time keeping an eye on us every day, with so many students, it's exhausting.

Luo Er had been disciplined by Li Wei since childhood. Although he was a particularly mischievous boy, it had become a habit for him to unconditionally obey Li Wei on small matters, but rarely on major ones. If there were any major issues, please refer to point one.

The children went to class as usual, and Aunt Luo sneaked into Teacher Liu's office. She found it empty; Teacher Liu had a class on the first period. Thinking she couldn't leave empty-handed, she decided to sit and wait.

Some of the teachers who weren't teaching recognized her. They first carefully offered her a seat and poured her water, and after chatting for a while, they realized that this parent wasn't as fierce as she had been the day before, so they boldly started talking to Zhao Chunyan.

Among them was Ms. Wang, Li Lin's homeroom teacher, who taught history. She was a very gentle and kind person. She kindly poured Aunt Luo a glass of water and then asked, "Excuse me, are you Luo Jianhua's parent? I've heard that your Luo Jianhua is a very good student, and that he even skipped a grade in elementary school?"

Aunt Luo felt relieved to hear this. Her smile blossomed into a wide, happy grin: "That's right! My eldest and second sons both skipped grades, two grades in total! Let me tell you, their teachers say they're incredibly fast runners and very healthy..."

A young and pretty female teacher standing nearby, after listening to Aunt Luo's long-winded tale of filial piety, finally couldn't hold back any longer: "Hey, you there, ma'am, your son's all right now, isn't he? What brings you here today...?"

Aunt Luo talked about her son for a long time, treating the listening teacher as a confidante. Then, beaming, she said, "I've come to see Teacher Liu. I heard she's still single. I'd like to introduce her to someone. By the way, do you know what kind of man Teacher Liu is looking for?"

The teachers, who had been listening to her with great interest just moments before, scattered like birds. Silence fell.

Aunt Luo was puzzled. What was going on? She looked at this person and that person, but no one paid any attention to her when she asked them. It was as if they didn't know her. Aunt Luo was even more confused. She could only sit there and wait for Teacher Liu.

Soon after class, Teacher Liu returned to the office with her lesson plan and set square. Seeing Aunt Luo San there, she instinctively touched the bruise on her arm, hesitant to approach. Across several desks, she asked, "Mrs. Luo Jianhua, what brings you here today?"

By this time, the teachers who had finished class were gradually returning to their offices. With the encouragement of her colleagues, Ms. Liu wasn't so afraid anymore.

Aunt Luo greeted Teacher Liu warmly. This was the same person who had been so aggressive yesterday, like a hawk catching a chick. She acted as if she weren't even her: "Oh my! Teacher Liu! I've been waiting for you for ages. You were chatting with everyone. I wanted to ask them what kind of man they're looking for. I came especially to introduce you to someone." No need for thanks. Just be good to my son.

Aunt Luo's voice was so loud. In that large office, even a rat in its hole could hear it. Suddenly, the entire office seemed to lose power. There was a brief silence, then the circuit breaker tripped automatically, power was restored, and everyone listened intently, but continued with their tasks as usual.

Teacher Liu's face turned red, then green, then blue, like a chameleon. She gritted her teeth, really wanting to slap Aunt Luo twice, but reason told her that she couldn't beat that fat woman.

Aunt Luo thought Teacher Liu was embarrassed, so she took a few steps forward and grabbed the unsuspecting Teacher Liu's arm (it was in her hands again): "Oh, let's have a good chat. I know a lot of people from all around, including some from the city. My husband is a well-connected man, he knows a lot of people. Tell me, sister, what kind of man are you looking for? I guarantee you'll be satisfied!"

After saying that, as if he had made a huge promise, he shook Teacher Liu's little arm hard, almost shaking it to pieces, and finally woke Teacher Liu up. Enduring the pain, he grabbed Aunt Luo's other fat arm and said through gritted teeth, "You come out with me."

Aunt Luo was quite happy, thinking that Teacher Liu was shy and embarrassed to talk about such things in front of so many people in the office. She comforted Teacher Liu all the way, saying, "Sister, you don't need to be shy. Marriage is a major life event, it's normal. What woman doesn't get married, have children, and live a life?"

Suppressing her urge to explode, Teacher Liu finally arrived at a meeting room in the office area. She stopped, her face ashen, and said, "I'm telling you, Luo Jianhua's mother, you don't need to worry about my affairs. If you talk to me about this kind of thing in public again, don't blame me for saying something unpleasant!" After saying that, she turned and left.

Even if Aunt Luo was slow-witted, she could tell that Teacher Liu was unhappy!

Standing there, she just couldn't understand. It was a perfectly normal thing; she was just trying to be nice, so why was the other woman unhappy? If it weren't for the fact that she was her son's homeroom teacher, she wouldn't have bothered with this. Humph!

Aunt Luo turned and went home dejectedly, but she kept the fact that Teacher Liu was still unmarried in her mind. She thought to herself that she should still try to find her a husband if she had the chance; she'd heard that introducing a couple could add ten years to one's life. Although Teacher Liu was a bit older and had a strange temper, she was still quite desirable. Several of her husband's old buddies were still single; given Teacher Liu's personality, it would be good enough if someone wanted her.

Aside from the teachers, the students were unaware of this incident. The students in Class 6 of Grade 7 noticed that their homeroom teacher, Ms. Liu, had been in a bad mood lately, assigning an unusually large amount of homework. Anyone who made a mistake was in trouble; she wouldn't stop until she'd thoroughly disciplined them, leaving them looking like a dead dog with its eyes rolled back, barely breathing. For a moment, the entire class was trembling with fear, students moving in and out with lightning speed, like cats catching mice, their discipline unprecedented.

Li Wei has been riding in Luo Er's car to school these past few days. The little cotton seat cushion that Luo Da used to ride in had been confiscated by Luo San's aunt. It was obvious to her that it didn't belong to her family; it must have been for that brat Li Wei. The other day, after failing to find a man for Teacher Liu at school, she deliberately tore it off and took it home when she passed by the school's bicycle shed.

It was fine if she took it, but when Luo Da got out of school late that evening because he was on duty, he saw a boy fiddling around his bicycle. He went up to him, grabbed him by the collar, and almost lifted him up: "What are you doing? Trying to deflate my tires? You're asking for it!"

Upon closer inspection, he recognized her somewhat but couldn't quite place her. He asked, "Have I seen you before?"

The boy had heard of Luo's reputation, but when he was caught off guard, he instinctively began to resist.

Unfortunately, he wasn't as tall or strong as Luo Da, and Luo Da had practiced kung fu for so many years, so dealing with him was like dealing with a little rabbit. In just a few moves, his arm was twisted behind his back, and he was in so much pain that he couldn't move.

This boy was the same guy who had been kicked into the ditch by Luo Da that day, the one who had whistled in a hooligan's way, and he had held a grudge ever since. Today, he finally got his chance to puncture Luo Da's bicycle tire, but before he could even pull out a nail, Luo Da caught him. He was unlucky; he wasn't cut out for bad deeds, yet he was always itching to do something.

Luo Da twisted his arm slightly while asking fiercely, "Speak up, what did you come here for? Believe me or not, I'll break your arm?"

"No...no, I...I mistook the car for another one." The boy endured the pain and tried to cover it up.

Luo Da squinted, watching his evasive words and shifty eyes, becoming even more suspicious. He glanced at an old 28-inch bicycle not far away. He recognized the bike; it was a Forever all-steel frame. He remembered kicking it that day and feeling how heavy it was, which left a deep impression on him, unlike his old bike and his brother's new bike, which were light and flimsy.

With the suspect identified, Luo Da knew this kid hadn't been up to anything good here. He checked his car; nothing seemed wrong... wait, the little cushion in the back seat was gone!

She threw the boy to the ground and stomped on his chest: "Where did the cushion in my car go? Tell me!" Damn it, is this guy even a boy? He even takes girls' things.

The boy was stepped on by Luo Da, and his chest was throbbing with pain. He felt incredibly unlucky. He hadn't done anything wrong, and he was being wrongly accused of taking some broken little pad. It sounded like a girl's thing. What would a grown man like him do with that? Judging from its appearance, it must belong to this guy Luo's lover, which is why he was so concerned.

Luo Da tormented the boy for a while but couldn't get anything out of him. He emptied the boy's backpack, leaving books scattered all over the floor. He didn't see the small cushion, and the boy didn't seem to have one either. "If I find out you took my things, you'll be sorry. Stay away from my car from now on, you hear me? Get lost!"

The boy hurriedly got on his bike and rode away. As for whether he would tell the teacher, Luo Da never cared. At most, he would be punished by standing in the office. He had been in the office many times before, so this kid's situation was nothing.

Luo Da figured that some cheap girl might have taken the cushion, so he didn't pay much attention. Anyway, he had already decided that if Li Wei asked him for it, he would just say that his mother had taken it. After all, Li Wei was afraid of his mother and wouldn't dare to ask. Hehe!
