Sheng An Ning stared at the person in the photo. It was her former self!
But the eyes that were once bright have now become cold.
I felt bad, as if I was attending my own funeral. I wanted to go forward and touch myself in the photo, but after taking two steps, before I could even reach out my hand, I heard loud bangs.
Sheng An Ning suddenly woke up from her dream, looking confusedly at the curtains fluttering in the wind and the tall green branches of the poplar tree outside the window.
The dappled sunlight gave her a feeling of unreality.
I heard the door being knocked hard again, making a "dong dong dong" sound.
Sheng An Ning let out a long breath and sat up, guessing that it must be one of the three little guys coming to see her. She rubbed her cheek, suppressed her surprise, and stood up to open the door.
At the door, Zhou Zhou was holding the wilted pig bladder, with tears in his big eyes, and he looked up at his mother with grievance.
Zhou Chaoyang followed behind him, but tried hard to hold back his laughter. When he saw Sheng Anning open the door, he burst out laughing: "I was busy eating at noon and forgot to take this back from them. It was exposed to the sun and now it's deflated. And then your son is a little unhappy."
Sheng An Ning squatted down and reached out to touch his son's little head: "Our Zhou Zhou likes this very much?"
Zhou Zhou nodded. She wanted to cry but didn't want to. She pursed her lips and tried hard to hold it back. Her eyes became redder.
Sheng An Ning didn't expect that Zhou Zhou would feel sorry for a pig's bladder. Before, he was always enthusiastic about playing for three and a half minutes. She could only coax him: "This one is broken. Let grandma go to the market to see if there is any for sale. We can buy another one, okay?"
Zhou Zhou thought for a while, and seemed to understand what his mother meant. He insisted: "I'll buy it tomorrow."
Sheng An Ning nodded: "Okay, I'll go buy it tomorrow, but this thing may not be sold every day, so we Zhou Zhou have to be mentally prepared."
Although Zhou Zhou is a smart little guy, he couldn't understand what his mother said next. He just understood what his mother said, that is, to buy it tomorrow.
Then she stretched out her little hand, rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand, and blinked hard to blink away the tears. All of the tears were stained on her long eyelashes, making her eyelashes look more distinct and her eyes look dark and bright.
Sheng An Ning would be amazed by the children every day, and couldn't help but reach out and hug Zhou Zhou: "Oh, why is our Zhou Zhou so cute? What a cutie. I really want to hide Zhou Zhou in my pocket to prevent him from being stolen."
As he said that, he kissed Zhou Zhou hard on the face.
Zhou Zhou, who was originally sad, was instantly healed. He looked at his mother with a giggle and reached out for his mother to hold him.
Sheng An Ning picked up Zhou Zhou, and Zhou Chaoyang sighed, "You still have a way. No matter how we coax him downstairs, it won't work. Mom also said that she would buy him one tomorrow. That didn't work either. He just had to crawl upstairs to find mom."
Although the three of them could walk, they still had difficulty walking up stairs, so they really had to crawl to climb the stairs.
Sheng An Ning smiled and said nothing, but she felt that Zhou Zhou was her little guardian angel. He came up very timely and woke her up from her dream in time.
Now that I think about it, if she had touched the photo, it’s hard to say what the consequences would have been if that fleeting black shadow in the dream had been touched.
Or would it be even more distressing if I couldn't wake up from the dream?
Sheng An Ning also analyzed that her original self might really no longer exist, and the original owner would really die.
So she would be unwilling?
Sheng An Ning narrowed her eyes. No matter what, as long as there was a way, she would never leave this body, and she would not let the original owner succeed, otherwise what would happen to her children?
After Zhou Chaoyang saw Sheng An Ning coming downstairs, he sat on the sofa with a serious expression, as if he was thinking about something very important.
I couldn't help but reach out and touch her: "What are you thinking about? Why do you look like you want to fight with someone in the next second?"
Sheng An Ning couldn't help but smile after hearing her words: "Not really, I just remembered that the school's upcoming English oral speech competition is a little uncertain."
Zhou Chaoyang didn't know Sheng Anning could speak English. She thought Sheng Anning might be able to speak English, but she was definitely not at the level to participate in an English oral speech. She looked at her in surprise: "When did you learn English? We didn't learn it when we were in school. I don't even recognize a few of them now."
She can't even recognize all twenty-six letters of the alphabet.
Sheng Anning chose a very white lie: "I learned some from your eldest brother before. We listened to tapes when we had nothing to do. Later, I also learned from the teacher in school. And don't forget, my godmother is a returned overseas Chinese. If I learn from her, the speed must be as fast as taking a plane."
Zhou Chaoyang thought about it and said, "That's right. I really envy those who can speak English. It feels so great. My eldest brother can speak English. How did he do that?"
Sheng An Ning wanted to say that he learned it from Lu Changfeng, but was afraid that Zhou Chaoyang would be upset if Lu Changfeng's name was mentioned, so he answered vaguely: "He said that he learned it from his leader when he was on the border."
Zhou Chaoyang didn't ask any more questions, but curiously asked Sheng Anning to speak a few words in English.
Their conversation also attracted the attention of Zhou Hongyun and Zhong Wenqing, who pulled their children to look over.
Sheng An Ning thought that she had nothing to do and could find something lively to distract herself, so she cleared her throat and began to sing.
He sang an English song which later became very popular.
Zhou Chaoyang didn’t understand what it meant, and the words “nice” flashed through his mind!
After Sheng An Ning finished singing, Zhong Wenqing praised her: "I didn't expect our An Ning to sing so well. Although we didn't understand what she meant, it was really beautiful."
Zhou Hongyun nodded repeatedly: "Yes, it sounds better than any singer's."
Sheng An Ning felt a little embarrassed by the compliment: "It's not that good, you just think I'm one of your own, so you think any song I sing sounds good."
Zhou Hongyun quickly shook his head: "It sounds really good!"
For some reason, when she heard Sheng An Ning singing, she thought of the little daughter-in-law of the Sun family who could sing Kunqu opera. Suddenly she realized that this association was not good at all and quickly shook her head.
Even the three little ones thought it sounded nice. An An went over and hugged their mother, asking her to sing it again.
Sheng An Ning also became interested. She held An An and sang the English version of Jingle Bells. Her tone was light and playful, making the three children giggle.
At night, Sheng An Ning was worried that she would have another dream, so she hugged An An in her arms, hoping that An An would use enough force to wake her up.
As a result, I had a dreamless night and slept very well.
When I woke up in the morning, I felt much better. After having breakfast and going to school, I unexpectedly met the daughter-in-law of the Sun family, the woman who could sing Kunqu opera, on the road.
The woman looked straight at Sheng An Ning without a trace of emotion.
Sheng An Ning still nodded to the woman with a smile. When she was about to push the cart away, she heard the woman whisper, "They are not good people."
