Chapter 655: A Plan Within a Plan

Chen Jiabing didn't want other people to know that he had met Zhu Zhu, so only a few of his confidants knew about it. For some things, the fewer people who know about it, the better.

So, he took Zhu Zhu to Zhu Zhenfang's cemetery. No one else in the gang knew about it, so it was easier to deal with Zhu Zhu.

As I thought about it, I drove faster.

When they arrived near the cemetery, Chen Jiabing suddenly stopped the car. Without looking back, his tone suddenly became earnest: "Zhu Zhu, I watched you grow up. You should know how I treated you over the years. You also know the relationship between your father and I. How could I betray your father?"

"Have you been used by someone? Don't believe in other people's instigation. Your father is gone, and Hongdu cannot be destroyed in your hands."

"Zhu Zhu, if you insist that I was the one who killed your father, then let's go to your father's grave and talk it out. If you want to kill me to avenge your father, that's fine. But Uncle Bing has only one request, which is to manage Hong Metropolis well and not collude with the Dragon and Tiger Gang."

He said a lot more afterwards, all of which were to persuade Zhu Zhu to trust him and not to be taken advantage of by others, which would eventually destroy Hong City.

Zhu Zhu's men pressed their guns against Chen Jiabing's head. "Are you recording this? Go to my father's grave and kill me. Then take the tape back and play it for the brothers in the gang. It was me who believed in the slander and killed my father. Now you want to put the blame on you."

"And you killed me only because you had no choice? Then you can cry and lament. If I had been obedient, we wouldn't have come to this. You didn't want to see me die, but I forced you to do it."

"Chen Jiabing, you have a really good plan, but it's a pity that you can't do what you want. When I came to see you, I had someone bring evidence of your collusion with the Dragon Tiger Gang to Uncle Hong Tao. I think he would rather be the head of Hong Metropolis and is more suitable."

Chen Jiabing never expected this to happen: "Did you really bring the evidence to Hong Tao?"

Zhu Zhu sneered: "Are you betting that I don't have evidence? Unfortunately, I do! Even if you kill me, you can't go back to Hongdu."

"For so many years, my dad has treated you like a brother, but what did you do? You actually did something behind the scenes. There must have been something wrong with several docks, and it must have been your doing."

"Do you still have a conscience?"

Chen Jiabing was a little angry and pounded the steering wheel, saying viciously: "Your daddy is good to me? Do you know why I am willing to be a housekeeper and not want to personally intervene in the affairs of the gang?"

"Because your father is a suspicious person. He never truly trusts anyone. I have been with him for more than 20 years, and I only found out that he had a girlfriend when he was about to get married. I only found out about this a month after your mother gave birth to you abroad."

"Before, he told everyone that your mother wanted to go on vacation abroad and liked the snow in Switzerland. I believed it. But no one expected that she was pregnant and went there to give birth."

When Zhu Zhenfang came back with Mingzhu in his arms and the child in his arms to introduce them to everyone, Chen Jiabing felt even more betrayed.

His anger made him do whatever it takes, so soon he planned a car accident that killed Mingzhu.

Zhu Zhu was very surprised: "These are our family's private affairs, why should I tell you? Has my father concealed other things from you? Did he deliberately hide it from you during the meeting?"

Chen Jiabing kept silent. On other matters, especially gang matters, Zhu Zhenfang indeed never hid anything from him, but he communicated with him less in the past two years.

Thinking of this, he suddenly realized that Zhu Zhenfang had discovered that something was wrong with him two years ago?

He always thought that Zhu Zhenfang was very upset because of his daughter's rebelliousness and disobedience, so he had no time to sit down and talk to him.

Even when we sat down to chat, he complained bitterly: "I shouldn't have sent Zhu Zhu abroad. I haven't been with her all these years, which made her feel that I am an incompetent father, so she is unwilling to talk to me properly. Look, now she runs away all day long and won't listen to anything I say."

"Hey, I didn't take good care of my daughter. Do you think Mingzhu will blame me if I go there one day?"

The more Chen Jiabing thought about it, the more frightened he became. Zhu Zhenfang, the old fox, must have known about it at that time.

Zhu Zhu didn't want to waste time talking to him: "Hurry up and drive!"

Chen Jiabing started the car without saying a word, gripped the steering wheel tightly, the veins on the back of his hands bulged, and stared fiercely ahead. In this case, he might as well die together with Zhu Zhu!

Zhu Zhu suddenly said lightly: "If you have any other ideas, you'd better keep them to yourself. You and I will die together, and your illegitimate child will not be able to survive."

Chen Jiabing suddenly braked, and the wheels rubbed against the ground, making a loud noise.

He ignored the gun behind his head and turned to stare at Zhu Zhu fiercely: "How did you know?"

Zhu Zhu sneered: "Whatever you do to me, I will have someone do to him. How dare I come alone? Why didn't my two companions come?"

She also ran into Chen Jiabing holding a boy of five or six years old in a fishing village in South Australia two years ago.

She was still quite curious at the time. After all, everyone knew that Uncle Bing had no family and had remained chaste for so many years. He had no woman around him, had no family, and would never have children.

So I looked at the child a few more times. The child looked somewhat like Uncle Bing, and the look in Uncle Bing's eyes was full of doting.

Just like when Daddy looked at her.

After she returned, she mentioned this to Zhu Zhenfang. Zhu Zhenfang just laughed at that time and said, "It's not surprising that he has a child. Don't be too curious in the future. Since Uncle Bing doesn't want people to know, he must have a compelling reason."

Afterwards, Zhu Zhu didn't take it to heart. It was only when Sheng Cheng'an asked her to write a letter that she tried hard to think of anything else abnormal about Chen Jiabing.

So, she thought of this matter, but she didn't tell Sheng Chengan about it. She also had her own plans.

I didn't expect that when I tried it now, she actually guessed it right!

Zhu Zhu sneered: "Do you think you are hiding well? If I am not absolutely sure, how can I dare to come to you? Are you going to die directly?"

Chen Jiabing gritted his teeth and asked, "What do you want?"

"Go to the cemetery and stop trying to play any tricks!"

Chen Jiabing could only turn around angrily and start the car again, thinking in his mind that he must not let Zhu Zhu go this time.

But kid, is Zhu Zhu deceiving me again?

When the car arrived at the cemetery, Zhu Zhu got out, pointed a gun at Chen Jiabing and forced him to get out, then walked towards Zhu Zhenfang's tomb.

When they were almost there, Zhu Zhu suddenly fired a shot, hitting Chen Jiabing directly on the leg...
