Sheng An Ning saw that there was nothing special about the calico cat and there were no people around, so she wondered if it was because Mo Mo liked cats?
With one hand she supported Zhou Zhou who was sitting in the car, and with the other she touched Mo Mo's head: "Our Mo Mo likes cats. After dinner, mom will take you to see the cats, okay?"
Momo was also looking at the calico cat on the wall in surprise. He had clearly seen a strange old man just now, how did it turn into a calico cat? But he didn't know how to tell his mother, so he could only purse his lips, frown and say nothing.
Zhou Hongyun and Zhong Wenqing also came over and talked to Sheng Anning, and then helped the two little guys sitting in the car: "You came back quite early today, just in time to go home for dinner. Auntie should have prepared dinner by now."
With this interruption, Sheng An Ning didn't pay attention to Mo Mo's expression and took the children home for dinner.
…
The next day, after Sheng An Ning left for school, An An and Zhou Zhou wanted to go outside, so they held Zhou Hongyun's hand and pulled her out: "Aunt, go take a look, go play."
Zhou Hongyun laughed: "My little ancestor, there are no children playing outside now, they all went to school, it will be lively in the afternoon after school."
An An was not happy and pulled Zhou Hongyun's finger: "Let's go and have a look. We didn't go home again."
Zhou Hongyun was amused by the little girl's words. He laughed and said to Zhong Wenqing, "Look how smart An An is. She thought I was lying to her and insisted on going out to take a look. Then let's go out and take a look."
As he spoke, he led the two children out. After walking a few steps, he found that Momo was still sitting at the small table in the room, fiddling with the building blocks on the table. He called out, "Momo, let's go out and take a look. Do you want to go?"
Momo turned his head, shook his head, and lowered his head to play with building blocks again.
Zhou Hongyun was quite puzzled: "Why didn't Momo go out today?"
Although Momo is a quiet child, he will follow his younger brothers and sisters. No matter what they do, he will stand by and watch quietly and laugh along.
As the two little brothers grew older, Zhou Zhou beat Mo Mo less often.
Zhong Wenqing waved his hand: "You guys go and walk around the door. I'll stay at home to look after Mo Mo. He's old and doesn't feel like moving today."
Zhou Hongyun said something of concern and took the two children out.
Momo and Zhong Wenqing were the only ones left in the room. Zhong Wenqing sat down next to him and fiddled with the building blocks on the table: "Momo, what are you going to make with the building blocks today?"
Momo looked at the mess of building blocks on the table. The shapes made last night were destroyed by Zhouzhou when he got up in the morning. Momo thought seriously and said, "Let's make a house. Here, let's make a cat."
Zhong Wenqing didn't understand what Momo was talking about, and just smiled and praised: "Our Momo is amazing."
Then I sat aside, watching Momo building blocks very seriously. After sitting for a while, I felt nauseous and had a headache. I wondered if I caught a cold while sleeping at night.
In order not to cause trouble to others, she decided to go into the house to find two pills to take. She touched Momo's little head and said, "Momo, play here for a while. Grandma is going to go into the house to find something."
Momo nodded obediently, watched her grandma go to her own room, tilted her little head and thought for a while, then got up and ran out.
After Zhou Hongyun took the two children out, he only left the door ajar, leaving a large gap so that the children could squeeze out by turning sideways.
Mo Mo first poked his head out, looked around, then squeezed out awkwardly and leaned against the door to watch the people coming and going on the street.
He moved forward carefully, poked his head out to look at the house next to him, didn't see what he wanted to see, and took small steps forward again.
I could clearly see the courtyard wall of the neighbor's house next door, and the calico cat on the top of the wall was gone.
Mo Mo looked carefully for a while, then took small steps towards the road, hesitated for a while, and walked towards the neighbor's door.
Just then, he met an old fortune teller carrying a sack on his back and going out. Mo Mo wanted to turn around and run home, but he couldn't help staring at the old man.
The old man also saw Mo Mo, stopped, squatted down with some effort, waved at Mo Mo, and smiled kindly: "Little friend, come here, grandpa has candy here."
Mo Mo stood there without moving, staring at the old man with her big dark eyes, her little mouth pursed, her expression extremely serious.
The fortune-teller still smiled and waved his hand again: "Come here, Grandpa has candy for you."
Mo Mo took a step back, turned around and ran towards home.
Zhong Wenqing happened to open the door and come out to look for the child. After taking the medicine, she did not see Momo in the room. She hurried out to find the little guy. When she saw him running back, she quickly reached out and hugged him: "Why did our Momo run out? Didn't you see your aunt and Zhou Zhou and the others?"
She looked up but didn't see Zhou Hongyun and the two children. She touched Momo's little head and said, "Look how you got out by yourself. If you can't find Momo, wouldn't that be the end of Grandma's life?"
Momo hugged his grandmother's legs and secretly turned his head to look, but the strange old man was gone.
Zhong Wenqing just thought the child was scared, so he coaxed Momo for a few words, took him home, and kept telling Momo: "In the future, you must not go out by yourself without an adult. If you meet a bad guy, he will take Momo away. Our Momo is so cute and well-behaved, what if he is taken away?"
Momo just pursed her lips and followed her grandmother into the yard, looking back as she walked.
After a long while, Zhou Hongyun came back with the two children. All three of them were in good spirits. Zhou Zhou and An An each held a windmill in their hands.
Zhou Hongyun was holding a windmill in her hand. As soon as she entered the yard, she called out to Momo: "Momo, look what good things did your aunt bring back for you?"
An An happily ran to Zhong Wenqing to show off: "Grandma, look at the windmill."
Zhou Hongyun smiled and handed the windmill to Momo. He sat down on the stool and wiped the sweat from his forehead. "It's really worth our trip. There's a market in front of us, as well as an acrobatic troupe and storytellers. I was thinking of coming back and asking you if you want to go."
The two little guys refused to come back, so Zhou Hongyun bought a windmill to coax them back.
Zhong Wenqing didn't want to move today: "I won't go. I feel too tired today."
Zhou Hongyun immediately decided: "Then let's not go today. We can go tomorrow. I heard that this market is open for a week. Otherwise, we can wait until An Ning is on holiday. It will be Sunday then and it will definitely be more lively."
Zhong Wenqing nodded: "That's fine, it's still a bit difficult for the two of us to take care of three children."
She can't do strenuous exercise, and when the children meet her, they run happily and she can't catch up with them. For safety reasons, she'd better not go out.
Zhou Hongyun gulped down a vat of water, slapped his thigh and said, "By the way, there will be a movie at the market."
