Chapter 192 What I Told You

Jane looked up and saw several black cars come into view, followed by a familiar black Bentley that came to a steady stop.

The car door opened, and a long, slender leg came into view. A man then stepped out of the car, wearing a black silk shirt and a mid-length black trench coat.

He was extremely tall and had an upright posture, like a king on a high throne.

He looked tense, and when he saw Jian Yixue, he strode over, pulled her over, and looked her over for a moment. Seeing that she was not injured, he felt relieved.

Thinking of Jian Yixue's actions, Ye Mohan felt a little angry. His brows furrowed, and his tone was tinged with concern and reproach.

However, he mostly blamed himself for not protecting Jian Yixue.

"Xue'er, what did I tell you?"

Upon hearing this, Jian Yixue smiled guiltily at Ye Mohan and stuck out her tongue.

"Well, it was an emergency, I didn't have time to tell you. Don't be angry, look at me, I'm unharmed."

Seeing that Ye Mohan's expression was still not very good, she knew that Ye Mohan was still angry.

After thinking it over, Jian Yixue decided to shift the blame elsewhere.

Jian Yixue tugged at Ye Mohan's arm and said coquettishly, "Honey, it's really not my fault. They hit me with their car first, so I fought back."

"If it weren't for my good driving skills, you might never have seen me again."

When Lin Yi walked over with a group of bodyguards, he heard these words and was immediately shocked.

Someone actually dared to openly plot against the lady in the capital; they were utterly audacious!

This is clearly a slap in the face to the CEO!

Whether the other party wanted to kill the wife or was provoking the president, this was undoubtedly courting death.

Fortunately, the lady was not as fragile as one might imagine.

Otherwise, he couldn't even imagine what the president would do, given the wife's position in his heart.

As expected, upon hearing Jian Yixue's words, Ye Mohan's brows immediately furrowed, and he looked at the people lying on the ground with a fierce, murderous gaze.

When the men heard the woman's words, they knew they were doomed.

Upon seeing Ye Mohan's icy gaze, the group instantly felt as if they had fallen into hell, surrounded by a bone-chilling killing intent.

Although it was still late autumn, the people who had fallen to the ground felt as if they were in winter, with a chilling coldness all around them.

For a moment, whether out of fear or something else, they all trembled. They lowered their heads, not daring to look at Ye Mohan, and prayed that Ye Mohan would not hold them accountable.

Even if they didn't know Ye Mohan, they knew he was no ordinary person just by the powerful and terrifying aura emanating from him at that moment.

Behind the man was a group of people who looked like they had been through a lot and lived a life of danger. Compared to them, the men were no match for them at all.

Moreover, the opponent has already overwhelmingly defeated them in numbers. They might not even be able to escape unscathed in a one-on-one fight, let alone in a one-on-four or five-on-one fight. It's simply hopeless.

Now, all of them are injured and are no match for the enemy.

They wanted to run away, but they had no means of transportation.

For a moment, the group fell into a deathly silence.

Ye Mohan released Jian Yixue from his embrace, walked to the man Jian Yixue had been stepping on, his deep black eyes filled with a ruthless glint. Without a word, he raised his leather-shoe and kicked the man far away.

The men on the ground watched their leader being kicked away, their hearts filled with panic, fearing that the man's next target would be them.

For a moment, she couldn't think of helping him, so she took a few steps back with difficulty, trembling all over, holding her breath, trying to minimize her presence, afraid of attracting the man's attention.

Jian Yixue watched as Ye Mohan kicked the man away, and she admired Ye Mohan's actions immensely.

Her man is incredibly domineering.

She loved it.

Ye Mohan looked at the man he had kicked away, his expression cold and ruthless, and then strolled towards the man.

The man who was kicked landed and coughed up a mouthful of blood. He supported himself with one hand on the ground and clutched his chest, which was in excruciating pain, with the other.

Needless to say, he knew that his injury was serious, but now was not the time to worry about that; the most important thing was to think about how to save his life.

He had no doubt that the man wanted to kill him, and he believed that if the man wanted to do it, he would not be afraid of any consequences, after all, the man's aura was definitely not that of an ordinary person.

He originally thought this mission was just a small matter. After all, it was just about capturing a woman. What difficulty could there be? So he only brought three people with him.

He never dreamed that this woman was not to be underestimated, and that the man who came after her was even more formidable.

As the man walked towards him, he felt as if he were seeing a demon from hell, and a sense of fear welled up in his heart. He subconsciously moved his hand that was supporting him on the ground back a few steps, ignoring the pain in his body, but it was all in vain.

As the man drew closer, he panicked and begged for mercy, "Sir, I was wrong, I'll never do it again, please let me go!"

As if she couldn't hear the man's words, Ye Mohan walked straight up to him, placed her long legs on his chest without hesitation, and said coldly and ruthlessly.

"If you dare to kidnap my woman, then be prepared to pay the price."

The man was once again trampled to the ground by Ye Mohan. Looking at the fierce look in Ye Mohan's eyes as he looked down at him, his fear intensified.

"We were just following orders. I didn't know this lady was your wife. I will never do it again. Please, be magnanimous and forgive me this time."

The man frantically begged for mercy, his heart filled with terror.

If he hadn't been afraid of his master's ruthlessness, he probably would have told the whole truth long ago.

However, he had a vague feeling that the man in front of him seemed to resemble his master, except that the man's aura was much stronger than his master's.

Ye Mohan frowned, his gaze fierce as he looked at the man on the ground. "Whose orders are you on?"

Ye Mohan's fierce gaze remained fixed on the man, giving him no chance to make excuses.

Upon hearing this, the man turned pale and looked at Ye Mohan, who was staring at him intently, feeling extremely troubled.

Remembering his master's ruthless methods, he knew that if his master found out he hadn't completed his mission, he would at most get a beating.

The master hates those who betray him more than anything. If he were to reveal the master's name, he would probably face certain death when he returned.

But looking into the man's eyes, it seemed as if he was being told that he wouldn't be let off the hook unless he revealed who was behind him.
