This meeting was held on March 6, 1986, and is known in Ganhe history as the "306 Meeting". This meeting played a positive role in the development of Ganhe area. The development of Ganhe area has since entered the fast lane and has led the development of Shandong Province for a long time. Among all cities in the country, its total economic output is the only prefecture-level city that has entered the ranks of one trillion yuan GDP in one year, just like Suzhou.

Now a set of equipment in the feed factory has started production, and the mixed feed produced is delivered to pig farmers in the township on credit, and each household is given instructions for use and precautions.
Over a week, Sun Zongyuan, along with Tang Jikuan, Xi Rong and two graduate students from the College of Agriculture, visited all sow farmers and some piglet fattening farmers, correcting their unscientific and unhygienic behaviors in the breeding process. They promptly identified the causes of illness and provided timely treatment for several sick pigs, collected feedback from the masses regarding the pig-raising process, and were responsible for researching and resolving the issues separately.
The mature sows gradually began to enter the estrus period. The professor from the Agricultural College brought four graduate students and six technicians from the Animal Husbandry Station to carry out artificial insemination while providing training. After half a month, the staff at the Animal Husbandry Station were basically able to carry out artificial insemination technology independently.
Thanks to the on-site guidance of Mr. Guo Mingyi from the Agricultural College, the overall development of Yuanda Pig Farm is much better than that of the villagers. Not only in terms of the weight and coat color of individual pigs, but also in terms of feed utilization rate, etc., it is better than that of most farmers. The mature sows enter the estrus period more than half a month earlier. Some of the first batch of artificially inseminated sows are already pregnant for one and a half months. The piglets from the New Year are now fat, big-eared, white with red, and very energetic.
In March, the farm received another 500 gilts and 2,000 piglets, each weighing only 40 to 50 kilograms. These were new paternal breeds transferred from other provinces by the Agricultural College. An additional 50 boars for breeding were also delivered. Teacher Guo Mingyi, along with the research team and the pig farm's own technicians, tagged them, created files, and prepared to establish a scientific breeding library to prevent inbreeding and the decline of population quality.
Pig farming produces a lot of manure and garbage, and if it is not processed, the stench can be smelled for ten miles.
Sun Zongyuan invested another 100,000 yuan to build a biochemical treatment plant that can process 20 tons of feces per day. The generated biogas is burned to generate electricity and sent to the meat processing plant. The feces processed every day are dried and sold to the surrounding people as biofertilizer for growing melons and vegetables. For a time, even the urban area of Ganhe District knew that the vegetables grown in Honghua Township used biofertilizer instead of chemical fertilizers, and the vegetable prices were much higher than those in other places. However, the melons and vegetables in Honghua Township are indeed delicious, even Sun Zongyuan admits it.
On March 18, Sun Zongyu organized a pig-raising competition in Honghua Township. Experts from the Agricultural College and technicians from the Animal Husbandry Station were organized to evaluate the pigs from the households that registered in each village. Through careful selection of the 40 sows and 60 piglets, 10 "three good sows" and 20 "three good fat pigs" were selected. "Three good" refers to "good hygiene, good health and good habits" to cultivate good and scientific pig-raising habits among pig farmers. The winning pig farmers received two 50-kilogram bags of special sow mixed feed and fat pig mixed feed respectively. Participants who did not win the award will be given half the incentive!
Construction on two roads in the area has not yet started.
During this period, Sun Zongyu called teachers and students from the Urban Construction School to participate in the planning of the Honghua Township Economic Development Zone. He initially planned the construction of 18 roads in a "horizontal and vertical" pattern, determined the construction red lines of the main, branch and secondary roads, and clarified the locations of the 50,000-ton water plant, sewage treatment plant, fire protection center and two substations.

It mainly attracts individual industrial and commercial households and small processing households to rent factories for processing and production.
The western part is a high-end industrial park with an area of about 60,000 mu. It mainly attracts investment and attracts large and medium-sized enterprises to settle in and set up factories. The land area and investment scale are considered according to the size and willingness of the enterprise. The "one enterprise, one policy" policy is implemented, and preferential investment promotion measures are taken to attract enterprises from all over the country that are large in scale, high in technological content, good in market prospects, pollution-free or with relatively light pollution, to strengthen the Ganhe economy.
Near the dry river, Sun Zongyuan left more than 10,000 acres of land as a centralized office and living area for future enterprises, and to create a modern urban tourist belt along the river.
After another thought, we decided to plan the core 20 square kilometers of land in the Fushan work area into a satellite township in the Ganhe area to undertake the development of the suburban economy.
If all five areas were completed, the annual tax revenue would be at least 2 billion yuan, which would translate into 1.2 to 1.3 billion yuan in fiscal revenue. This would make Ganhe District a leading city in the country's economic development.
The idea is very good, but the reality is very skinny. Now, except for Sun Zongyuan’s meat processing plant and pig farm, no other enterprises have come in, let alone come to negotiate. The road ahead is long!
