The family planning and spring afforestation in Honghua Township have come to an end, and the pig farming work in the township has also been put on track. The pig pens that need to be built have been built, and all the family farms have been built in good locations. Honghua Township is the first township in the county where the average number of pigs raised per capita is close to one. Many people in the township raise multiple pigs, while some elderly families and families engaged in other industries do not raise any pigs. Many households raise far more pigs than the number of people in their families, and there are many villages where there are more pigs than people.
It is expected that the whole township will be able to produce more pigs by the end of the year. According to the current pig production efficiency, the per capita income of the whole township will increase by 80 yuan from this item alone, and the per capita income of farmers will increase by 24% compared with last year.

The transportation road reconstruction project in the county is also under construction in full swing. Nantong Fourth Construction is worthy of being the iron army praised by the central government. It works as quickly and orderly as an army without any delay. The newly established Ganhe Branch has recruited more than 240 veterans in Anyang. Under the guidance of Nantong Fourth Construction's management and technical personnel, they have mastered the technology quickly, and the progress of the project is improving day by day, which is quite in line with the style of Nantong Fourth Construction.
Pig farming has also started in the whole county. Many households who want to raise pigs often go to village cadres to ask: When will the piglets arrive?

In Honghua Township, apart from keeping enough piglets for breeding boars, castration of all sows that can be used as breeding sows is prohibited.
In this way, the first batch of sows born in Honghua Township will give birth to 15,000 Sanyuan Landrace piglets in August and September after a five-month growth period. When these sows grow up in May and June next year, they can supply 150,000 piglets to the society at a time, and 350,000 piglets throughout the year.
Pig farming takes time to cultivate. Starting this year, with sufficient stock left by the end of the year, breeding and growing the herds next year, the year after will be the peak period of vigorous development. Selling 500,000 commercial pigs annually and achieving the goal of raising one pig per capita is entirely achievable.
Piglets are the key, and the construction of feed mills and meat processing plants are the foundation of the pig farming business.
The construction of the feed factory is also expanding its production capacity, and the original annual output of 20,000 tons has to be expanded.
Sun Zongyuan of Yuanda Feed Factory in Liuzhuang Township plans to expand its production capacity from 20,000 tons to 30,000 tons. To feed the county's future piglets, Sun Zongyuan plans to build a 60,000-ton feed factory in the Anyang County Economic Development Zone, naming it Anyang Feed Factory. He will also relocate the feed research and development center there. Wu Shaojie and Xi Rong, a married couple, happen to be based in Anyang County, with one responsible for construction and future production management, and the other for feed research and development. This research and development has expanded from pig feed to include feed for chickens, ducks, angora rabbits, and other products.
The two ham sausage processing production lines of Yuanda Meat Processing Plant operate in three shifts a day. Truckloads of live pigs brought in from surrounding counties, regions and nearby provinces line up to enter the factory for quarantine, and only those that pass the inspection are allowed to enter the factory and be unloaded.
Those that can be processed in time will be processed immediately, and those that cannot be processed in time will be placed in a cold storage workshop for storage and preservation after slaughter.
After discussing with Wang Cuncai, he also asked the Mechanical Research Institute to reverse-engineer the ham sausage processing equipment, aiming to have the meat processing plant have 6 production lines this year and 12 production lines by the end of next year.
The reverse research principles and design drawings of instant noodle production equipment have been developed. Improvements have been made to the original equipment, and production capacity has increased by more than 20%. Sun Zongyu plans that Yuanda Food Factory will have 10 production lines and an annual output of 200 million packs of instant noodles in the next two years.
A special machinery manufacturing team must be set up to manufacture complete production lines for ham sausage and instant noodles. In a few years, these two industries will have several factories across the country, and the equipment must be prepared in advance.
The reverse engineering of the compressor had also entered a critical stage. Measurements and drawings had been completed, and a prototype machine had been handcrafted by several Level 5 and 6 technicians. However, after installing it in a refrigerator for testing, the effect was not good.
