The apartment that Tang Xiaoxiao and Han Yunqi bought has two units per floor. They are not very big, each unit is about a hundred square meters. It can't compare to the Tang family's villa. However, since it is an elevator building, Tang Xiaoxiao wanted the top floor for peace and quiet. In addition to the attic that was given as a gift, it also came with a huge open-air balcony. They didn't plan to live in the attic, but they could make use of the balcony to have an outdoor barbecue or something in their spare time.
Tang Xiaoxiao's family occupied the larger room, while Tang's parents moved into the slightly smaller one. The rooms were already decorated in a unified, minimalist style, and the details of the furnishings were up to personal preference.
The family of four has a three-bedroom, one-living room apartment, with one master bedroom and two secondary bedrooms, which is just enough for the couple and their twins. In addition, there is a study and a kitchen and bathroom, so it doesn't feel crowded.
An'an and Nao Nao, though small in stature, had big ideas. They insisted on decorating their new room themselves, and Tang Xiaoxiao and Han Yunqi let them have their way, not caring what kind of mess the toddlers under four years old would make of the room.
The family spent several days shopping at the mall, buying many small items to decorate their home. The couple generally didn't refuse anything the twins liked, as long as they didn't waste it; they were very indulgent towards their children in this regard.

It turns out that the little girl had recently started learning watercolor painting and found the colorful paints very novel. Tang Xiaoxiao had placed many flower pots on the balcony, some of which were aquatic plants. In a moment of mischief, she poured all the paints into the water.
After she finished pouring, An'an discovered it. An'an, acting like a big brother, criticized her for wasting paint and said that her mother had told them before that the watercolor paints were poisonous and that they could not put them in their mouths. Even babies cannot eat them, so of course the flowers cannot eat them either, or they will be poisoned and die.
The little girl was terrified when she heard how serious the consequences would be, and dared not hide it from her mother any longer, so she came over and admitted her mistake.
An'an peeked out from the doorway and, seeing that Tang Xiaoxiao had noticed him, lowered his head and walked in. When he got to her, he said in a serious tone, "Mom, don't blame my sister. I've already disciplined her, and I was also wrong. I didn't watch over my sister properly. If you're going to punish someone, punish me too."
Tang Xiaoxiao found it both amusing and gratifying. Although the twins were born only minutes apart, An'an had always acted like a big brother, taking it upon himself to care for his younger sister. How could she bear to scold such a child? She hugged one of the twins, kissed their cheeks, and then asked Nao Nao, "Do you know where you went wrong?"
Nao Nao replied obediently, "I shouldn't have forgotten my mother's words and fed the poisonous watercolor paint to Hua Hua."
This little guy is very clever; he grasped the key point immediately.
Tang Xiaoxiao nodded in satisfaction, "It's good that you know where you went wrong. Remember what Mom told you in the future, and cherish the flowers, plants, and small animals. Don't use them for experiments, understand?"
