Qin Huai smiled bitterly. It was definitely not a compliment for the girl he liked to say such things to him. He felt no sense of being protected at all, only bitterness.
“Zhong Yan, I can’t rely on your protection forever.”
“I didn’t…” Zhong Yan paused, “Alright, since you’re willing to stay, I won’t force you. But if there’s any danger, let me know immediately.”
"Okay." Qin Huai's brows furrowed, his gaze softening. "I promise I will never fall into danger again."
“Okay!” Zhong Yan agreed and turned to leave. She was going to settle accounts with Luo Li and find out more about him. He was really annoying because he threatened people all the time.
With that thought in mind, she moved even faster!
Luo Li had already concealed her presence the moment she turned and left. Seeing her depart, she couldn't help but snort coldly! She was certainly enthusiastic, but she didn't know if the other person appreciated it.
Qin Huai stared at the door for a long time before finally speaking: "Since you're here, why don't you come in! Luo Li, if I remember correctly, I have no grudges against you."
There was a moment of silence outside, and then Luo Li swaggered in.
However, her gaze held a hint of criticism, and she seemed quite dissatisfied!
"Serves you right! Who told Zhong Yan to protect you!"
"You're jealous?" Qin Huai narrowed his eyes and sneered, "Is it because she's close to me that you're jealous? If you're so capable, go ahead and kill me."
"You think I wouldn't dare!" Luo Li lunged forward, grabbing his neck, her brows furrowed with coldness: "Qin Huai, someone like you would be better off dead."

"Hmph! You are not worthy to know." Luo Li's eyes were full of gloom. No one was worthy to know his identity except Zhong Yan! Everyone else deserved to die.
Qin Huai was being choked and could hardly breathe. He gasped for air, but felt more and more like a fish on the verge of death, as if he would drown at any moment.
That feeling was truly unbearable!
Luo Li admired his expression, a hint of pleasure flashing in her eyes: "Let me tell you! No one can take Zhong Yan from me, no one can."
Qin Huai was stunned, completely dumbfounded: "You, you're just jealous!"
