Chapter 5 It was kicked in.

"I only believe what I see." Sun Shangbing said somewhat awkwardly, but still said, "Zhong Yan, if you get them out of here now, I can put in a good word for you with the principal!"

“I’m sorry, it’s not necessary.” Zhong Yan raised her chin, her eyes full of determination: “Teacher Sun, I’m the kind of person who always retaliates in kind and never forgets a wrong.”

“You, you’re a witness! He saw with his own eyes that you threw that person in.”

“Teacher Sun, you must be joking with me! How can I, a girl, carry three girls? Besides, my clothes are still wet, are you blind?” Zhong Yan said more and more sarcastically, saying each word slowly and deliberately, “Don’t worry, they will climb up naturally when they reach their limit.”

Enraged, Sun Shangbing ignored her and walked straight towards the shore. However, for every step he took, she followed, blocking his way and refusing to let him pass.

Bang!

Sun Shangbing kicked her viciously, and Zhong Yan, caught off guard, fell into the water again.

Just as she was about to swim out, she suddenly realized that she couldn't move, and something was pulling her down forcefully. Zhong Yan peered down, but saw nothing. Her strength gradually disappeared, and her whole body felt weak.

Zhong Yan kicked down a few times with all her might, but only hit a ball of air. Before she could react, it was as if she was enveloped by something, tightly wrapped up, leaving her no space at all.

She felt that it was becoming increasingly difficult for her to breathe...

I just woke up, and now I'm going to die?

No!

She was unwilling to accept it!

"What are you?"

"Hoo! You really can sense my presence." The surrounding water trembled violently in response to the sound, forming a whirlpool that tightly enveloped her.

"Water, ghost." Zhong Yan's voice was very soft. In fact, she was already having difficulty breathing, and even speaking had become a luxury. Under such circumstances, she was only holding on by sheer willpower.

She didn't believe it, and she wasn't convinced!

Now that she was back and had survived, she was determined to defy fate! Even the heavens wouldn't take her life. This intense will to survive fueled Zhong Yan's fierce resistance!

The water ghost was surprised; she clearly felt her two souls and one spirit had just returned to their places. It was all her fault; if she hadn't been so busy chasing that dead fish monster, she wouldn't have missed the best opportunity to possess it.

“Zhong Yan? Your name is Zhong Yan! Stop struggling. What’s the point of living? Look, no one likes you. Even your teacher can kick you down and make you pay for those three girls’ lives.”

"Shut up! You little water ghost, you think you can bewitch my mind!" Zhong Yan opened her eyes, her cold gaze fixed on a certain direction. If it were her past self, she might have really given up!

But now?

The water ghost clearly didn't know what was going on. Suddenly, she felt Zhong Yan's aura become stronger, making her feel uncomfortable, as if she could break free at any moment!

This makes me very uneasy.

Zhong Yan felt the restraints around her loosen slightly, and quickly moved her hands and feet! She knew all too well that fighting a water ghost underwater was definitely not a wise thing to do!

If she's not careful, she could lose her life here.

Unfortunately, judging from her expression, she wants my body! So, there's only one last gamble left!

If she wins, she lives; if she loses, she dies again.
