You guessed right.
Qin Li said with a smile.
"Next question: Who confessed first?"
Lu Yu and Jiang Yue both wrote down the answers.
Upon seeing Lu Yu's description of himself, Qin Li and the others all turned their gazes to Jiang Yue.
When they saw that their sister-in-law had written "Lu Yu," everyone laughed and cheered.
"So it was you who confessed first, Brother Lu? How did you confess?"
How did your sister-in-law finally accept you?
"You're so aloof and don't talk much, how are you going to win over your sister-in-law?"
"Yes, yes, tell us quickly, how did you win over your sister-in-law?"
Another ten minutes or so passed, and the wedding night festivities ended. Everyone went home. Qin Li arranged for people to take those who wanted to go home by car, and for those who didn't, they could stay overnight in one of the neighboring courtyards.
The yard and the glass room have also been tidied up by everyone.
Slightly drunk, Lu Yu and Jiang Yue saw the person off. Lu Yu then took Jiang Yue's hand and walked into the house.
Seeing that he had regained his senses after entering the bedroom and closing the door, Jiang Yue smiled with pursed lips.
"Honey, now no one will bother us."
Hearing Lu Yu's words, Jiang Yue nodded.
Lu Yu lowered his head and kissed Jiang Yue.
His hand moved upwards from the hem of his clothes, and wherever it touched, it stirred up a wave of heat.
Jiang Yue hugged his waist and responded to him warmly.
After a while, the two of them collapsed onto the bed, their clothes scattered on the sofa and the bed.
Lu Yu raised his head and looked at Jiang Yue, whose face was slightly flushed.
"Wife, I've finally married you."
Hearing Lu Yu's words, Jiang Yue understood his meaning. In truth, he loved her more than she loved him; he had been quietly doing those things all along. He would support her in anything she wanted, and he hadn't said a word. If she hadn't been given a second chance at life, she would never have known how much he had done behind the scenes, risking everything to protect her...
Jiang Yue kissed Lu Yu, turning the tables and taking the initiative...
The wedding night has begun.
......
As dawn approached, Jiang Yue fell into a deep sleep.
When Jiang Yue woke up, she felt weak and sore all over.
She opened her eyes and looked to her side.
"Good morning, my wife." Lu Yu kissed Jiang Yue, his eyes full of doting affection.
Good morning, honey.
"Are you hungry? Breakfast is ready."
"Um."
After Jiang Yue got up, she felt unsteady on her feet. She glanced at Lu Yu.
Lu Yu picked her up and carried her to the living room.
There's heating here, so the whole house is very warm. The sun is shining brightly outside, making the house very bright.
Lu Yu brought all the food to Jiang Yue.
Let's go back to yesterday when we had lunch.
Qin Xiang was puzzled when she saw the bodyguards. She returned to Fang Yu's private room, which had been reserved by Lu's mother for an extra table of guests. The bill hadn't gone through the Lu family's channels. Lu's mother had simply booked several extra tables.
"Young Master Fang, I just saw quite a few bodyguards over there. They looked like soldiers..."
Upon hearing this, Fang Yu frowned.
When my sister got married, they invited some high-ranking military and political figures. Several of them came, and they were in a private room there. They also invited quite a few people.
His mother asked Lu's mother which guests they had invited, but Jiang Yun said they were just relatives and friends with whom they had a good relationship, as well as some of Lu's father and Jiang's father's comrades-in-arms.
He could always guess who they were.
But do these people really need so many bodyguards?
