Chapter 1281 What an ingrate!

She thought that the daughter-in-law that Sister-in-law Fang had chosen for her stepson was quite good; they were both girls from the compound, and they were more than a match for Fang Yuan.

But Fang Yuan doesn't appreciate kindness; in recent years, he's been unwilling to do this or that.

According to Sister-in-law Fang, Fang Yuan and Fang Yuan have a good relationship now, and Fang Yuan has been reluctant to return to Beijing in recent years.

What an ingrate!

How much better could Sister-in-law Fang be to Fang Yuan?

Jiang Yun's gaze fell on Jiang Yue again, and she suddenly felt a sense of empathy. She had treated her daughter-in-law Jiang Yue very well in the past year or two, but Jiang Yue had been pleasing her parents-in-law, and now she had no status in the Lu family at all.

Jiang Yue saw Jiang Yun's expression change, but she simply ignored it.

Jiang Yun would act like this every now and then. Jiang Yun was the kind of person who was self-centered and felt that everyone should pamper her and indulge her. If things didn't go her way, she would try to cause trouble to make others listen to her.

Although she was pampered by everyone and was somewhat willful in the past, she was still far from being like Jiang Yun.

Jiang Yun glanced at Jiang Yue, then continued talking to Grandma Lu.

When it was time to eat, Jiang Yun felt a little uncomfortable when he saw the fish roe and fish maw hot pot on the table.

She doesn't like eating animal offal, feeling that these things are not presentable at all.

Although there were some of her favorite dishes on the table, she still felt uncomfortable.

After eating a few bites, she got up and went to the living room to see her grandchildren.

She picked up Da Bao and coaxed him with a smile.

"Dabao, call her Grandma."

These days, Jiang Yun has been quite good to the three children, and he would occasionally bring them back.

"grandmother."

Hearing Da Bao call out "Grandma," Jiang Yun happily responded.

"Dabao is such a good boy, Grandma loves him the most."

Jiang Yun had previously wanted to bring the children to her home, but Grandma Lu refused, saying that she couldn't take good care of the children.

Jiang Yun knew that her mother-in-law was worried about her taking care of her grandsons. She was Da Bao's grandmother; surely she wouldn't harm her grandsons, would she? Although she disliked Jiang Yue, she genuinely loved her grandsons.

"Grandma will take Da Bao for a walk in the yard."

After dinner, Sanbao hugged Jiang Yue and acted coquettishly. Seeing her daughter's well-behaved and adorable appearance, Jiang Yue hugged her and talked to Grandma Lu.

"I heard from Yu'er that you saved a child in the family compound."

Grandma Lu said with a smile.

"You didn't tell us about something this big."

Bao'er is so kind; she saved people without telling them.

"I was busy, I forgot to mention it."

Jiang Yue would often tell Grandma Lu and her other grandmothers about things that happened at school and at work. The old ladies didn't go out much; they just chatted with the other grandmothers in the compound and liked to hear about things happening outside.

"I heard that the child will be able to be discharged from the hospital after a few days of rest."

When she heard about this, she and Grandma Jiang reminisced for quite a while.

Grandma Jiang never expected that her granddaughter's previous insistence on studying medicine, which they had taught her for several years, would now come in handy.

Grandma Jiang was extremely happy that her granddaughter was able to save someone.

That would be wonderful.

She's been too busy these past few days and hasn't called Lu Yu yet.

She'll call Lu Yu later.

"Dad is on the phone."

Sanbao raised his little hand to his ear and spoke.

Seeing her great-granddaughter's adorable appearance, Grandma Lu said with a smile.

"Okay, Great-Grandma will call your father."
