Ms. An hadn't expected that her attempt to persuade and admonish Jenny, assuming the role of an elder, would result in her being slapped in return.

Anna glared angrily at Jenny. She couldn't understand why Jenny had changed so much, when she had been perfectly fine before. Could it be that her older brother had said something nasty to Jenny again?

Why can't Jenny tolerate this?
Her father used to have several mistresses. Old Robert also had several mistresses. But I've never seen Jenny's mother act like Jenny.

Mr. Ann noticed a slight change in Jenny's expression and knew that if he let his mother and sister continue talking, the situation would become even more unfavorable for him. So he decided to talk to Jenny.

He got up and walked to the side, but he didn't go far; he sat down on a chair about ten meters away.
Seeing this, Mr. An became even angrier. But thinking about what he was about to do, he could only suppress his anger for the time being.
He lowered his voice slightly and looked at Jenny with a deep affection in his eyes.
Meanwhile, Ms. Ann and Anna sat down not far away.
"Jenny, it was my fault before, please don't be angry with me. I promise it won't happen again."

"You guarantee it? What guarantees do you have?"
Hearing Jenny's words, Mr. Ann was overjoyed. He assumed Jenny was jealous, which explained her behavior. If that was the case, things would be much easier.
“We agreed before that we wouldn’t interfere with each other after the engagement. But Andy, you’ve broken the rules these past few times. You’ve overstepped your bounds and started meddling in our family affairs.”
Upon hearing this, Mr. An's expression changed slightly. He had thought that Jenny was an easy person to fool; although she was shrewd in business, she was easily deceived when it came to emotions.
Unexpectedly, despite his many efforts, Jenny did not listen to him.
"Jenny, I was thinking that our two companies could join forces and expand our business even further..."
Smith watched Mr. Ann and Jenny talking from a distance. From Mr. Ann's expression, he could tell that Jenny wasn't giving her younger brother a friendly look.
This made him feel even better.
He's been talking to old Robert several times lately, and old Robert's attitude towards him has changed a lot recently.
