Chapter 1639: Only half of it can be believed.

"Godmother, I'm giving my baby bottle to my little brother."

Hearing Sanbao's words and seeing the baby bottle Sanbao was holding, Qin An couldn't help but laugh. He then lowered his head and touched Sanbao's head with his forehead.

"Oh my, Sanbao, you are so cute! Your godmother loves you the most!"

Sanbao giggled.

Grandma Lu looked at Qin An and Sanbao and said with a smile.

"An'an, you're recovering very well, and your skin is fair and rosy. Is the baby restless at night?"

Hearing what Grandma Lu said, Qin An smiled and replied.

"Grandma Lu, after I was discharged from the hospital after giving birth, I started recuperating. In these past two months, I've recovered most of my health. And Youyou isn't so restless at night..."

Lu Xiaogu returned at this time and praised Qin An profusely upon seeing him.

Qin An was even happier to hear this.

"Auntie, if you keep praising me, I'll get arrogant."

“What my aunt said is the truth.”

Hearing their praise and pride, Jiang Yue laughed even louder.

"Grandma Lu, Auntie, you have no idea how amazing Bao'er was today."

Upon hearing Qin An's words, both Grandma Lu and Aunt Lu looked at Jiang Yue, while Jiang Yun, who had just entered, sat not far away and also looked at Qin An.

"Tell your aunt quickly, how amazing is Bao'er?"

Lu Xiaogu also enjoyed hearing news, and now she looked at Qin An and urged him on.

"Today, Anna came over and started yelling at Bao'er, first in English. Bao'er yelled back in English. Seeing things were getting out of hand, Anna changed her language... Turns out Anna only speaks four languages, but Bao'er switched to all four and started yelling at Anna again. This made Anna cry..."

Upon hearing this, Grandma Lu and Aunt Lu looked at Qin An in surprise, then turned their gazes to Jiang Yue.

"Bao'er, you speak eight languages?"

Hearing what Aunt Lu said, Jiang Yue smiled and replied.

"Auntie, actually I'm only good at English and Russian, I only know a little bit of everything else."

Hearing her niece-in-law say that, Aunt Lu smiled and said.

"You say you only know a little bit? Your aunt doesn't believe you. You're too modest." Aunt Lu recalled how hard Jiang Yue studied before, and how she got into Tsinghua University with the highest score in Beijing.

"Mom, Yu'er is so lucky to have married such a wonderful wife as Bao'er..."

Lu Xiaogu praised Jiang Yue extensively.

Hearing her daughter's praise of her eldest granddaughter-in-law, Grandma Lu nodded with a smile.

“You’re right. Bao’er is much better than Yu’er.”

Although Grandma Lu and her husband have retired, their superiors still call them occasionally. In recent years, the couple has heard their superiors praise Bao'er on several occasions.

Jiang Yun was somewhat dismissive.

So what if she speaks English and Russian? She speaks those too. Jiang Yue speaks eight languages? How could she be so skeptical? Qin An and Jiang Yue are practically inseparable; there's definitely some exaggeration in those claims. She'd be happy to believe even half of it.

Maybe they've only learned ten or eight phrases, and then they're showing off.

"Godmother, what are eight languages?"

Sanbao asked again out of curiosity.

Qin An explained to Sanbao.

But Sanbao still didn't understand.

"I want to be as amazing as Mom when I grow up," Sanbao said loudly.

Da Bao and Er Bao echoed their sister's words.

"We want to be as amazing as Mom."

“Okay, study hard from now on, and you will be even more amazing than your mother,” Jiang Yue said to the children with a smile.
