She's really benefited from Bao'er's success these past few years. Sitting at home doing nothing, she still receives so much in dividends every year—more than her entire family earns combined.
She had refused before, but Bao'er said that she was her aunt, whether from the Lu family or the Jiang family's perspective, she was still her aunt. If she didn't accept the money, it would be like being distant with Bao'er.

Jiang Yun left work early and returned to the Lu family home. She actually wanted to go to the family compound as well. Everyone else had gone; she was Lu Yu's mother, couldn't she go too?
As soon as I got home, I saw my sister-in-law stuffing something into her pocket. I had been having a great time chatting with Jiang Yue, but when I saw her, my smile faded considerably.
"Little sister, what are you talking about? You seem so happy about it?"
Jiang Yun asked.
"Mom and godmother have prepared a lot of things for Yu'er. We're discussing what to bring. What have you prepared, sister-in-law?"
Preparing things?
Jiang Yun really hadn't expected this.
She had some of the gifts her workplace gave her sent to her parents' home, and kept the rest at home. She had also considered bringing some of them with her.
But then she remembered that Jiang Yue always prepared everything in advance. She realized that what she brought today couldn't compare to Jiang Yue's preparations. She planned to bring it tomorrow, along with some money for her in-laws.
"I did prepare some things, but they're still at my home over there. I'll have someone go and get them."
"No need to take any more, the car can't hold that much stuff." Grandma Lu knew perfectly well that Jiang Yun was just making an excuse.
Grandma Lu was telling the truth; there really wasn't enough room for all those things.
"We're going to stay for a few days, so we can't bring too much stuff. Otherwise, it won't look good."
Upon hearing this, Aunt Lu quickly stepped forward and helped move some things to the side.
I hadn't thought of that question before.
"Grandma is right."
Jiang Yue nodded with a smile.
Soon, everything was ready, and everyone got into the car.
Four cars were driven this time.
Jiang Yun also got into the car. She planned to stay with her son for a few days; he had been working at that company for several years, but she hadn't visited him once.
Jiang Yun sat holding Da Bao, smiling as she asked him a question.
"Dabao, do you want to go back to school after the New Year?"
Da Bao answered after hearing his grandmother's words.
"My great-grandfather and great-grandmother said that once it gets warmer after the Lunar New Year, they will send my younger brother and sister to school."
Jiang Yun hummed in agreement.
She still has a few years until retirement, and she'd like to go home and look after her grandchildren every day. However, they aren't very close to her.
After Jiang Yue got on the bus, she fell asleep in a daze and only woke up when they arrived at the entrance of the family compound.
"Sister-in-law, we've arrived."
Jiang Yue hummed in agreement and opened the car door.
After Sanbao and Erbao were put on the ground, they immediately headed home.
"dad."
Sanbao shouted loudly, but after several calls, she didn't hear her father open the door. Sanbao pounded on the door, and Aunt Lu smiled and picked her up.
"Dad is still at work and hasn't come home yet."
Jiang Yue used her key to open the door.
Grandpa Lu and Grandma Lu went to stay in the house across the street. They had contacted the captain and his team before they came.
