She didn't want to earn this money either. But her second brother would call her every time, urging her to come home and earn it.

Qin An wasn't saying Qin Li should shirk responsibility. She just meant for her second brother to get to know him first, and if he liked him, they could get married. This would also save her mother and grandmother from worrying every day.

Qin Li quietly slipped out of his mother's sight and drove off.
Hearing the car and seeing her youngest son run off again, Qin's mother stomped her feet in anger. Everyone in the compound envied her for having such good children: two sons, one excelling in the army and the other running a large business; and a daughter whose business was also doing very well. But while the eldest and youngest were married with children, the second son didn't even have a girlfriend.
Now that they're this age, they just hope their children will get married and have children. She won't worry about her children having no descendants. She doesn't have those old-fashioned ideas.
But she was genuinely worried that her son might have some health problems.
Qin Li drove out of the compound, intending to go to the cinema to watch a movie.
As soon as Qin Li left the compound, his bodyguards followed in their cars.
When Qin Li arrived at the movie theater, he was about to buy tickets when he realized he had given all his money to his sister. He planned to go back to his car to get more money; he had left some in there earlier.
But then they heard someone shouting.
"Catch the thief!"
Hearing the somewhat familiar voice, Qin Li looked over. He saw a thin man running towards him, carrying a bag in his hand.
He stepped forward and kicked him.
"Bang!"
The man was kicked to the ground, and his bag was thrown away.
Seeing that the man was trying to run away, Qin Li stepped forward and pinned him down.
"Let me go. How dare you ruin my plans! I won't let you get away with this!" the man threatened.
"Slap, slap, slap."
Qin Li held him down with one hand and slapped him several times with the other.
After being hit, the man looked at Qin Li in disbelief.
A pretty, somewhat slender girl ran over.
"Thank you."
When Qin Li saw her appearance, he was stunned.
The girl kept thanking Qin Li when she saw him.
"Subtle and understated."
Qin Li called out a name.
The girl was startled when she heard Qin Li call her name.
"You know me?"
The girl was Chen Wei.
What? She actually forgot him?
Qin Li's expression turned even uglier.
"Chen Wei, you're pretending not to know me?"
"I...know you?" Shen Wei pointed to herself, then to Qin Li.
