Hearing Jiang Yue's words, Qin An glanced at Jiang Yue again. She understood; it was something between her and Jiang Yue now. Although Jiang Yue's words were harsh, her cooking was delicious; she didn't seem to care about her on the surface, but she was actually very kind.
She needs to treat Jiang Yue better from now on. She can't treat her like she used to.
As they exited the hospital, Xiao Hei and its brothers went to greet Jiang Yue and Qin An.
As darkness fell, Jiang Yue led Qin An toward home.

Zhang Yu was chatting with several of her sisters-in-law.
"It's already dark, why hasn't Jiang Yue returned yet?"
Did you see Jiang Yue when you were in the car this afternoon?
"No."
"The other comrade didn't see it either."
Qin Xiang stood at a distance, listening to the chatter of her sisters-in-law.
"If Comrade Jiang isn't back right now, where could he be? Could it be that he has relatives in the county or city?"
"I haven't heard of that either."
The topic started to change as the conversation went on.
Although Zhang Yu and Grandma Feng didn't explicitly say that Jiang Yue had cheated on her husband, their words implied the same thing.
"Whose wife goes out dressed so provocatively and doesn't come home late at night?"
"This is outrageous."
"Commander Lu is not home right now, what she's doing is really going too far."
Tang Zhaodi and Lin Ling's expressions changed upon hearing this. Comrade Jiang hadn't returned to his family compound; perhaps something had delayed him.
"Comrade Jiang said that she went to visit an elder today, so don't talk nonsense."

"Lin Ling, you're always trying to curry favor with Jiang Yue, but I haven't seen her give you anything in return."
Qin Xiang deliberately came out from behind.
"Comrade Qin, you've come at the right time." Zhang Yu saw Qin Xiang and immediately stepped forward to pull her along.
Qin Xiang looked at Zhang Yu with a confused expression and said.
"Sister-in-law, what's the matter?"
"Jiang Yue didn't go home to stay at her family home today; she said she went to visit her elders. Aren't you Jiang Yue's classmate? Do you think she has any elders in the county town?"
Grandma Feng echoed Zhang Yu's words.
"Yes, Comrade Qin, you tell everyone."
Qin Xiang's expression changed repeatedly upon hearing their words. She tried to turn and leave, but they held her back.
"Don't ask me anymore."
Qin Xiang said this deliberately.
Seeing Qin Xiang's troubled expression, Zhang Yu felt even more smug.
"Comrade Qin, Jiang Yue treated you like that, and you still keep it a secret for her. What are you doing hiding it from her?"
"That's right, capitalist ladies are no good."
Hearing what these people said, Qin Xiang's eyes filled with tears, and she was so anxious that she almost cried as she explained.
"No, don't misunderstand Jiang Yue, she's not like what you're saying."
Qin Xiang grew increasingly anxious.
"See, I told you so. Jiang Yue is lying all along. She even lied and said she had relatives in the county town, who knows who she was meeting in secret..." Old Mrs. Feng's words became more and more outrageous.
