Chapter 1173 Going to Work

Lunch is ready and the family sits around the dining table, enjoying the delicious meal.

Xiao Yueyue and Xiao Xuanxuan excitedly talked about their experience of planting flowers in the yard, while Zhou Ziwen listened with a smile and nodded in praise from time to time.

Chen Qiaoyi looked at the children and said gently, "Children, you did a great job today. Keep up the hard work in the future."

Xiao Yueyue and Xiao Xuanxuan nodded obediently, their eyes flashing with anticipation for the future.

After lunch, Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi decided to take the children to the nearby library.

They believe that reading is an integral part of children's growth and can enrich their knowledge and imagination.

In the library, the children excitedly chose their favorite books.

Xiao Yueyue found a picture book about animals, while Xiao Xuanxuan chose a popular science book about space.

Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi read with the children and patiently answered their questions.

The children listened with great interest and exclaimed in surprise from time to time.

Chen Qiaoyi smiled and said to Zhou Ziwen, "Look, the children love reading so much. We should bring them to the library more often in the future."

Zhou Ziwen nodded: "That's right, reading can not only increase their knowledge, but also cultivate their interests and hobbies."

After spending an afternoon in the library, the family returned home with a lot of knowledge.

The children held the books they had chosen, their faces filled with satisfied smiles.

After returning home, Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi continued reading with the children in the living room.

Xiao Yueyue and Xiao Xuanxuan are immersed in the world of books and share their discoveries with their parents from time to time.

At dinner, the family sat around the table and shared their experiences of the day.

Xiao Yueyue and Xiao Xuanxuan excitedly talked about what they saw and heard in the library, while Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi listened patiently with happy smiles on their faces.

After dinner, Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi took the children for a walk in the yard.

The night sky is dotted with stars, and the breeze is blowing gently, bringing bursts of floral fragrance.

Little Yueyue looked up at the starry sky and asked curiously, "Dad, why do the stars shine so brightly in the sky?"

Zhou Ziwen patiently explained: "Because stars are made up of a lot of burning gases, the light they emit allows us to see them."

Xiao Xuanxuan also asked curiously: "Why is the moon sometimes round and sometimes crescent?

Chen Qiaoyi replied gently, "Because the moon revolves around the earth, the shape of the moon we see changes with its position."

The children listened with great interest and nodded from time to time.

Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi were delighted to see the children full of curiosity about the world.

After the walk, the family returned to the living room and began preparing bedtime stories for the children.

Zhou Ziwen picked an interesting fairy tale book from the bookshelf and sat on the sofa. Xiao Yueyue and Xiao Xuanxuan immediately snuggled up to him.

Zhou Ziwen read the story vividly and imitated the voices of various characters, making the children laugh.

Chen Qiaoyi sat aside holding little Ruiqi, looking at this warm scene with a happy smile on her face.

After reading the story, Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi helped the children wash up and change into soft pajamas.

After putting the children to bed, they sat by the bed and sang lullabies to them softly.

Amid the gentle singing, Yueyue and Xuanxuan slowly closed their eyes and fell into a sweet dream.

Looking at the children sleeping soundly, Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi quietly walked out of the room and closed the door.

Next, Zhou Ziwen’s happy time began.

He went to Shen Zhaodi's room first, did some fitness exercises, and then returned to the room to toss around with the two sisters.

At his age, he is young and strong.

What's more, his boxing skills were not practiced in vain. His physical fitness had long reached the limit of human beings, and even exceeded it a lot as his skill proficiency improved.

With his current physical condition, living for more than a hundred years would be like a piece of cake.

The next morning, sunlight gently shone into the room through the gaps in the curtains, and Zhou Ziwen woke up early from bed.

He stood up quietly, afraid to disturb little Ricky and the two sisters who were still sleeping.

Zhou Ziwen stood in front of the window, stretched, and felt the fresh air in the morning.

He looked out the window and saw that the flower seedlings planted in the yard looked particularly vibrant under the nourishment of the morning dew.

He smiled slightly, and the serious and excited look of the children when they were planting flowers in the yard yesterday came to his mind.

Zhou Ziwen tiptoed out of the room and went to the kitchen to prepare a hearty breakfast for his family.

He skillfully took out the ingredients and decided to make the cartoon-shaped pancakes that the children loved most.

He mixed flour, eggs and milk into a batter, and then used various molds to press the batter into cute shapes, including little rabbits, little cats, little stars and so on.

While making the pancakes, he also carefully added some diced fruits, making the pancakes not only cute in appearance but also nutritious.

At this time, Chen Qiaoyi also woke up. She walked into the kitchen and saw Zhou Ziwen busy at work. A happy smile appeared on her face.

She walked over to Zhou Ziwen, gently hugged his waist and said, "Thank you for your hard work, getting up so early in the morning to make breakfast."

Zhou Ziwen turned around and smiled and said, "It's not hard. Seeing the children eat happily makes me satisfied."

The two were busy in the kitchen together, occasionally their eyes met, conveying silent love.

After a while, breakfast was ready and the table was filled with a variety of cartoon pancakes, hot milk and fresh fruits.

Chen Qiaoyi went to wake the children up. As soon as Yueyue and Xuanxuan smelled the aroma of food, they immediately jumped out of bed and ran to the dining table excitedly.

Seeing these cute pancakes, they danced with joy.

Little Yueyue picked up a bunny-shaped pancake and said to Zhou Ziwen, "Dad, this pancake is so cute! I can't bear to eat it!"

Xiao Xuanxuan also held a little star pancake and said, "Dad, you are so awesome! The pancakes you made are so pretty!"

Looking at the happy faces of the children, Zhou Ziwen and Chen Qiaoyi felt a sense of accomplishment.

After breakfast, Zhou Ziwen remembered that there were important things to deal with at the factory today. He told the children to listen to their mother at home, and then went out.

When he arrived at the factory, he found that the R&D team was struggling with the difficulties encountered in the new intelligent machinery project.

Zhou Ziwen immediately joined the discussion and proposed a new solution based on his solid professional knowledge and rich experience.

After the joint efforts of the team members, the problem was finally solved, and everyone praised Zhou Ziwen's ability.

After a busy morning at the factory, it was already noon when Zhou Ziwen returned home.

As soon as he entered the door, he saw Chen Qiaoyi teaching Xiao Yueyue and Xiao Xuanxuan how to do handicrafts. They folded various small animals out of colorful cardboard.

When Yueyue saw Zhou Ziwen coming back, she quickly ran over, hugged his legs, and said, "Dad, look at the little animals we folded. Are they pretty?"

Zhou Ziwen took the little animal, looked at it carefully and said, "It's so beautiful. Yueyue and Xuanxuan are amazing!"

As he spoke, he joined the children's craft activities, teaching them to fold more complex paper airplanes. The paper airplanes flew around the living room, and the children's laughter echoed throughout the house. (End of this chapter)
