Section Chief Liu found Wu Changfeng's words very offensive.
His face darkened, and he stood up angrily, pointing at Wu Changfeng and roaring:
"Are you causing trouble? Do you think you've made this factory your own backyard?"
Wu Changfeng tapped his ear: "This sounds so familiar. Director Huo must know it by heart, right?"
"Stop giving me that nonsense, I'm just asking you, what's going on with these workers?"
Section Chief Liu continued, "You're not studying the spirit of the document, yet you're secretly encouraging them to do the work. What are your intentions?!"
Wu Changfeng said righteously, "Then you're wronging an innocent person. I have never given any orders to go to work, do any work, or leave work."
"Furthermore, don't you understand why the workers are willing to work?"
Section Chief Liu roared hoarsely, "How should I know!"
"You don't know?" Wu Changfeng scoffed. "Then let me tell you!"
"It's because there's money to be made! Don't try to put a bad example on anyone; in this day and age, making money doesn't come without suffering!"
"What have you done to the workers by secretly badmouthing them?"
"Besides wasting time, I really don't see any value in it!"
"What, do you want everyone to starve because of you? You're ruining the workers' livelihoods!"
Section Chief Liu immediately seized on the loophole in Wu Changfeng's words: "Your job? Your job is given to you by the Mining Bureau! You should obey the Mining Bureau's orders!"
"Oh?" Wu Changfeng scoffed, "The mining bureau does provide the bowl, but where's the rice?"
"Section Chief Liu, tell me, where is the food!"
Section Chief Liu stared wide-eyed, momentarily speechless.
Everyone knows that the meal was given by Wu Changfeng.
This guy is such a sophistry!
The other workers were also united in their hatred of the enemy:
"Section Chief Liu, you can bring something interesting to the meeting if you want, but you're just wasting everyone's time and making things difficult for us."
"My mother is already seriously ill and needs money to buy herbal medicine. Section Chief Liu, are you planning to murder her?"
"I'm planning to earn money to get married, Section Chief Liu. Are you trying to put me down by taking a fancy to my girlfriend?"
"Murderer who forcibly took his wife, Section Chief Liu, you're quite the womanizer!"
The workers kept talking, no longer caring about Section Chief Liu's identity.
Swearing and cursing are the least of it.
Several young men had already formed a circle around him; if Section Chief Liu dared to nag any further, they would smash him with an iron rod.
Section Chief Liu felt a chill run down his spine.
The power of the masses is overwhelming.
Moreover, they even fabricated a story out of thin air, saying that I killed someone and bullied a woman. Although it's not true, it's still disgusting to say it out loud!
Damn it, I fell down again!
Section Chief Liu glanced at Wu Changfeng with resentment, feeling a sharp pain in his back teeth.
He immediately put on a smiling face: "Look at what everyone's saying, you just like to joke around, don't you?"
"The spirit of the superior's documents is indeed very important, but that's not as important as the production task!"
"I've made up my mind. I'll summarize the spirit of the document. Everyone can focus on production and get a better life as soon as possible."
"That's it, everyone disperse."
The workers snorted, dropped the sticks on the ground, and returned to their posts to get back to work.
Suddenly, Liu Tiao had a brilliant idea and offered Wu Changfeng a trump card: "What if we fabricate something out of nothing and send some dirt on Section Chief Liu at the Mining Bureau?"
"For example: On a dark and windy night, Section Chief Liu sneaked into a worker's home, threatened the worker not to work, and took the opportunity to defile his girlfriend."
"Also, because he didn't get along with a certain worker, he cut off his wages, which led to his elderly mother being unable to afford medical treatment and dying tragically."
Wu Changfeng naturally knew that Liu Tiao wanted to embellish what the workers had just said and write it down as a big-character poster.
Wu Changfeng shook his head firmly: "Don't do that. Section Chief Liu is such a good person. Do you understand what a 'decorative vase' means?"
"It's only good for looking at, it's useless."
"Once you bring down Section Chief Liu, the Mining Bureau will send in some big shots. We're just a few small fry, being played like puppets. What's the point?"
"It's purely creating uncertainty for myself."
Willow suddenly realized: "I was wondering why you had the ability to get rid of Section Chief Liu, but you kept him around aimlessly. So that's what you were planning?"
"Learn from this; there are many ways to do things."
A few days later.
The Education Bureau's printing plant has delivered the packaging boxes and completed the packaging.
Mr. Lü personally picked up the goods and inspected each one meticulously.
"Don't blame me for being long-winded, but product quality is our lifeblood. If there are any defects, we'll exchange it on the spot. If there are any problems after we pick it up, it's my loss."
Mr. Lü spoke earnestly.
Wu Changfeng nodded: "Don't worry, I'm very strict with quality management. And even if there are quality problems within a year, I'll replace it, so you won't have any worries."
Mr. Lü was very realistic: "That's a bit of an exaggeration. Who knows where it might be sold to? What if it breaks and needs replacing? Who pays for the shipping?"
"Anyway, I have this promise: as long as you take it back, I will exchange it; I don't care about anything else."
Mr. Lü was stunned for a moment, then smiled silently.
Logistics were underdeveloped in those days, and exchanging goods was pure nonsense; it was just talk.
"The packaging is really nice, red, festive." Boss Lü clapped his hands: "Alright, I'm taking this batch of goods. Won't you wish me a big sale?"
Wu Changfeng cupped his hands in greeting: "Wishing Boss Lü a successful start."
"Haha, I'm just asking for some good luck, don't find it annoying."
Wu Changfeng chuckled and said, "Let's go! Sell them quickly, I'll wait for you to make the payment for more stock."
Mr. Lü waved his hand, loaded the fishbone antenna onto the truck, and set off for Wenzhou.
Trucks are not dedicated vehicles; they need to be pieced together with less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments, loading and unloading along the way.
