The next day.
Several people were having breakfast at the restaurant.
Guo Yuda looked at the manufacturer's sales and translator with a somewhat listless expression.
He asked, "Didn't I tell you to get some rest? Why are you all like this?"
The two scratched their heads sheepishly.
Guo Yuda immediately became alert: "Tell me! What did you do last night!"
"Let's go play..."
Guo Yuda's eyes widened: "Disorganized, undisciplined! Have you made a mistake?"
Wu Changfeng slurped up the thin porridge.
No way. No way?
Does this hotel still offer this service?
How come I didn't notice?
The translator said hurriedly, "No, no. This hotel has a dance hall and a movie theater. We went to the dance hall first, but it was too noisy. Then we went to see a movie."
"Director Guo, you have no idea, you can watch foreign movies here, gunfight movies, they're really exciting."
Guo Yuda breathed a sigh of relief: "It's good that no mistakes were made."
I've had breakfast.
The group drove to the Canton Fair Convention and Exhibition Center.
It was the same familiar scene.
Large numbers of local tourists and foreign businessmen followed.
Wu Changfeng had already spoken with Director Liao of Jiyang Province.
Ask him to reserve a booth for himself.
To avoid making a fool of ourselves like last time.
This time, Director Liao readily agreed to Wu Changfeng's request.
Even if we don't reserve exhibition space for other factories, we absolutely have to reserve it for Wu Changfeng!
Who would dare to make the same mistake twice?
Wouldn't that just make the big boss want to get a beating?
Director Liao appeared at the door and greeted Wu Changfeng: "Over here!"
Wu Changfeng waved his hand and then walked over.
Director Liao didn't recognize Guo Yuda and said with a smile, "What, you've even taken the initiative to form a group?"
"Huh?" Wu Changfeng turned around and looked at Guo Yuda and the others, asking, "Aren't you... going to your own booth?"
"ah?"
This time, Guo Yuda was a bit confused: "Exhibition booth? Isn't it just a free-for-all stall?"
Wu Changfeng rubbed his forehead: "No way? You from Inner Mongolia didn't come to participate?"
Guo Yuda shook his head: "I haven't heard of that. Isn't this an open area?"
“Definitely not,” Wu Changfeng said. “Otherwise, if any small vendors came in, wouldn’t it become a vegetable market? They’re all from provincial delegations.”
Guo Yuda was bewildered: "We're doomed! It seems like no one from our province has actually come here!"
Wu Changfeng asked Director Liao, "Director Liao, did Inner Mongolia not participate?"
Director Liao thought for a moment and said, "Inner Mongolia rarely comes here. They don't have much to sell. They do send people to sell minerals, but they don't need a booth. They just signed contracts internally through this exhibition. It's just icing on the cake."
Guo Yuda looked dejected: "It seems we in Chicheng are not well-informed about this aspect of our work."
Director Liao asked, "From Chicheng?"
Wu Changfeng nodded.
Then, he introduced the group of people to Director Liao.
Director Liao thought for a moment and said, "Our top leader and the top leader of Inner Mongolia are quite good, so in principle we should take care of them."
Guo Yuda shook hands: "Thank you, thank you! I don't need much space, just a table will do."
Director Liao laughed and said, "Changfeng, look at this. It's the same line you used the first time you came to the Canton Fair. Haha."
Wu Changfeng touched his nose: "You didn't treat me like this back then."
"Stop talking, stop talking. It's all tears." Director Liao waved his hand: "Let's go, I'll make some room for him."
The group walked into the exhibition hall.
Director Liao whispered to Wu Changfeng, "Your booth is a bit difficult to arrange. I spoke with the organizers, but they didn't agree."
"I need this spot by the door, and you still won't agree?"
Director Liao shook his head: "They say it has to be neat and uniform. What do you think we should do? I've reserved a booth for you, but if you don't think it's okay, you'll have to figure it out yourself."
In fact, Wu Changfeng's requirements were not high.
All I need is a table at the entrance of the exhibition hall, with electricity connected.
He didn't want to go to the seats further inside.
Wu Changfeng thought it over and over: "Are you confident you can get the electricity working for me?"
Director Liao pointed to the entrance: "The booths at the entrance are for local businesses. I have a pretty good relationship with them, so this can be arranged."
“I’ll figure it out myself. I’ll give my booth to Director Guo.”
Director Liao nodded: "Then you can decide for yourself. By the way, what do they sell? The items don't look very big."
Wu Changfeng joked in a low voice, "My act can be replayed, I guarantee they'll sell their stuff. And it'll be a large sum of US dollars!"
Director Liao understood immediately.
Last time, the US dollars that should have belonged to Jiyang Province ended up in Shenshui Province.
He really got a good scolding for it.
This time, the US dollars from Montreal Province were at my booth in Jiyang Province, so wouldn't that mean the money ended up in Jiyang Province?
What goes around comes around!
Director Liao gave a thumbs up: "Then I'll give it a try and make our big leader look good."
Wu Changfeng chuckled: "Don't go too far."
"There are quite a few."
Arriving at the Jiyang Province booth, it was indeed located towards the back.
Director Liao directly gave the booth that originally belonged to Wu Changfeng to Director Guo.
The three of them arranged the keyboard. Then they didn't know what to do next.
Guo Yuda looked around and asked Wu Changfeng, "Should I yell a few times?"
Wu Changfeng rejected the idea and patiently said, "It's not necessary. The foreigners will naturally come and take a look. As long as they look this way, you can go for it."
"Just don't forget hospitality etiquette and the proper terminology."
Director Guo slapped his thigh: "I didn't bring any tea leaves! My mistake, my mistake."
