Chapter 343 Someone is not convinced?

It's time to get off work.

Liu Tiao convened a general meeting of all office staff.

Willow stood in the office, her gaze sweeping over everyone.

Then she slammed the documents supporting production onto the table: "I presume everyone can read? And understand human speech?"

"I asked the general office to mobilize everyone to go to the workshop to support production. How did you all do it?"

"According to my statistics, out of the more than 30 office staff, only the personnel department and the finance department went as a whole, while almost no one from other departments went."

"Director Hou, give me an explanation."

Director Hou coughed and said, "I did issue this document, but they won't listen to it."

“Point out who doesn’t listen.”

Director Hou dared not point it out; that would be an act that would offend someone!

Director Hou could only laugh it off: "Um... I forgot."

Willow sneered: "Is that so? With such a bad memory, it'll be hard for you to take on important tasks."

Director Hou's expression immediately changed.

How could he not understand what the willow branches meant?

The implication is clear: If you can't do it, get out of here!

Director Hou immediately said, "Sir, the order you issued is problematic. Production tasks are the production department's responsibility. Why are you asking us to get involved? Are we just going to quit our jobs?"

"Then tell me, what work did you do today?" Willow asked, arms crossed and face stern.

How could Director Hou possibly answer that?

All you did all day was drink tea!

Director Hou argued, "Well... according to the regulations, today's work should be reported tomorrow, right?"

Director Hou thought he would just get through today's meeting and then think carefully about how to report on his work tomorrow.

After all, that's how it's always been done.

Willow scoffed: "So, you've forgotten all your work for today? You won't remember it until tomorrow, is that it?"

Director Hou did not expect Liu Tiao to press on so relentlessly.

Is this targeting me?

I didn't do anything!

well?

Is it because I did nothing wrong that they're targeting me?

Director Hou calmed himself down and said, "I... I've been supporting the workshop all day."

"And what about the results?" Liu Tiao spread her hands apart. "Why haven't I seen many people go to the workshop?"

"That's because they don't want to go, what can I do?"

"So, your work wasn't effective, right?"

Director Hou was immediately taken aback: "You can't say that, can you? Didn't other departments also go?"

Willow snorted: "What's the point of such sophistry?"

Liu Tiao immediately pointed at the others and asked them one by one, "Why didn't you go?"

"My back hurts."

"Sitting in the office makes your back hurt, right? What about you? Why didn't you go?"

The other person answered quietly, "I, I, I feel uncomfortable sitting for long periods of time."

"Then the disabled person will feel even more uncomfortable, right?" Willow continued to ask with disgust, "You, I didn't see you go either, why?"

The employee who was named said, "When I received the notice, I was organizing documents. I asked Director Hou if I could skip it, and he said it was up to me."

"You're spouting nonsense!" Director Hou stood up and shouted, "When did I say that!"

The man pointed to his other colleagues: "They all heard it."

The others nodded and chattered amongst themselves.

"Yes, they even asked you why you made that arrangement. You said it was an order from your superior."

"We asked you if it would be okay if you didn't go or if you could stay for a shorter period, and you said it was up to us."

"President Liu, we really didn't know this was mandatory; we thought it was voluntary!"

“I didn’t receive any notification. I was in the kitchen repairing the drain pipes at the time, and Director Hou didn’t mention it to me when I came back.”

Director Hou's face turned deathly pale.

Are they all turning their attention to me now?

Does everything I say mean it? Don't you have any comprehension skills?

Willow said coldly, "Director Hou, putting aside the issue of the employees, is this how you relay my orders?"

"I told you that all your office staff must participate in the production support mission! And you told them it was up to them?"

"There are still employees who haven't been notified? Your memory is infuriatingly bad!"

Director Hou wiped the sweat from his forehead: "Perhaps I didn't understand it properly."

"This isn't a matter of your understanding; I've already made myself very clear. This is a matter of your work attitude."

Willow Branch abruptly changed the subject, saying very seriously, "Given that Director Hou's memory and work ability need improvement, I hereby announce that Director Hou is suspended from his position as Director of the General Office. He should see a doctor or recuperate as needed."

"The HR department will put your file on hold, waiting for the company to reassign you."

Director Hou was immediately dumbfounded.

What's the difference between this and being expelled?

He immediately flew into a rage: "You have no right to do this! Isn't this just firing him?"

Willow sneered: "Get this straight, this is a private company, not a state-owned enterprise. Don't apply your old understandings. Here, I'm the one who calls the shots!"

Director Hou growled in a deep voice, "Little girl, you've got a little power and you're already getting cocky? Don't forget the boss is behind you! I don't believe the boss would be so unreasonable as to approve your decision."

Willow sneered, "Do you remember how to get to the boss's office? Want me to show you?"

"This is none of your business, you can leave now!"

The willow branches shooed people away without any politeness.

Director Hou stormed off in a huff.

Willow Branch turned its gaze to the others again, looking down at them with disdain: "Director Hou's matter is his matter. Your matter is your matter."
