Chapter 434 Allocation

On the road.

Wu Changfeng was driving, and Yu Qingmu was sitting in the passenger seat.

Huo Jiaqi slumped down in the back seat and fell fast asleep.

Yu Qingmu looked out the window at the scenery rushing past, lost in thought.

She had a premonition that Wu Changfeng's sudden arrival and rapid return meant that what she had predicted had probably happened.

But I was completely unprepared!

Why didn't you notify me in advance? I could have been prepared.

This was so sudden!

Yu Qingmu turned her head and looked at Wu Changfeng.

Finally, she spoke up: "Boss, why did you call me back to the factory this time..."

Wu Changfeng looked ahead: "I plan to restructure and establish a group."

As expected! Yu Qingmu's eyes flickered: "This is too sudden."

Wu Changfeng laughed and said, "It's good that it's sudden, so as to avoid unnecessary trouble between you."

Wu Changfeng knew that for Liu Tiao, Huo Jiaqi, Yu Qingmu, and Liu Xuelan, establishing a group was an inevitable step.

This involves the issue of equity distribution.

To retain employees, you must offer tangible benefits; you can't expect oxen to pull the millstone without feeding them.

A very obvious characteristic of a company that wants to grow big and strong is that it distributes resources reasonably.

If conflicts arise over allocation issues, it will undoubtedly create chaos within the company.

The various leadership positions are fighting amongst themselves; the company will collapse sooner or later.

Moreover, what they need now is no longer wages, but a higher level of recognition.

This recognition includes the allocation of shares.

To maintain stability and prevent these prepared individuals from making unfounded inquiries, Wu Changfeng decided to take advantage of this opportunity to resolve the issue once and for all.

Yu Qingmu shrugged: "Okay."

There was a moment of silence.

Yu Qingmu then asked, "How will Youmei develop in the future?"

What do you mean?

“This is your business.” Yu Qingmu said, both amused and exasperated, “I’m not a mind reader.”

Wu Changfeng said, "This is my plan: Youmei Company will spin off its milk tea franchise and make it a product under Youmei Company."

"Then we'll have to change the company name and remove the words 'milk tea' from it."

Wu Changfeng nodded and continued, "Actually, there are many things that can be franchised, such as two-dollar stores, which we can discuss later. Also, I plan to hand over the northern market to you; the products from the factory will be managed by you in the north."

Yu Qingmu nodded with relief: "Then I'm relieved. Now Youmei Company has a core business. I was worried that it would become a peripheral industry, separated from the company."

Wu Changfeng said with a smile, "Most importantly, you still have to maintain Huaqing Research Institute and recruit talents for me from universities in Beijing. This is your most important job."

Wu Changfeng glanced at the rearview mirror. Huo Jiaqi was fast asleep. Wu Changfeng said, "I'll leave this matter to you. I need to transfer Huo Jiaqi back to headquarters. They need him to take charge of the work there."

"Okay, I will definitely take it to heart."

After arriving in Chishui County.

Wu Changfeng arranged for Yu Qingmu to check into a hotel and rest.

She then went home to see her baby.

The house was bustling with activity, with both sets of grandparents doting on the child.

Lin Xiaotong was also there, looking quite smug.

As soon as he entered the house, Lin Xiaotong said in a sarcastic tone, "Oh, my brother-in-law, I heard you ran off to America?"

"Aren't you going to work?" Wu Changfeng asked.

Lin Xiaotong shrugged: "There hasn't been much work lately. Lao Zhou has been busy building relationships with people in Beijing, and I'm not good enough for that."

"You're really doomed!" Wu Changfeng scolded, "Nobody wants to play with you anymore."

"No!" Lin Xiaotong said, "It's just that they don't want me to go too far away since I just got married. What do you know! Unlike you, who ran off to have fun not long after the baby was born."

"Nonsense, I had important business to attend to."

Lin Xiaotong snorted: "Did you bring back any gifts?"

"That's none of your business either, get out of the way."

Wu Changfeng entered the house, and Lin Xiaoru greeted him with a smile: "Look at your baby, he's so well-behaved."

Wu Changfeng chuckled as he watched, holding one in each arm.

"Changfeng is back."

Wu Changfeng turned his head and saw that it was his brother-in-law, Lan Detao.

"Brother-in-law, you're here." Wu Changfeng put down the child. "How have you been lately?"

"Things aren't going well..." Lan Detao said, "Ever since I listened to you and decided to get dustproof suits, I've poured a lot of money into it, and you've disappeared without a trace. Is this even a good idea? Do you even want your boss anymore?"

Wu Changfeng slapped his thigh, realizing he had completely forgotten about it!

After all, there's no rush to procure these auxiliary components before the lithography machine arrives.

Wu Changfeng said, "Don't worry, tomorrow when you go to the Qimingxing Research Institute in Jiangcheng, just find a guy named Huo Jiaqi and have him submit the procurement plan for you."

"No need for the boss to review it?"

"Just take the samples with you. As long as they meet the requirements, it's fine. I've already made arrangements on the other end."

Lan Detao chuckled: "Then I have to thank you."

"It's okay, as long as you treat my sister well, there's nothing more to say between us."

Wu Changfeng then divided up all the gifts he had brought back from the Americans.

After dinner, everyone gathered together to chat.

The next day, Wu Changfeng began working as usual.

The company usually holds a morning meeting every day, where Wu Changfeng and Liu Tiao listen to a report on the factory's production progress from the previous day.

But today, Wu Changfeng had his employees hold their own meeting.

Wu Changfeng then called Liu Tiao, Huo Jiaqi, Liu Xuelan, and Yu Qingmu to be alone in the office.

After taking their seats.

The group all looked at Wu Changfeng.

Wu Changfeng took a sip of tea and cleared his throat: "To make a long story short, since the establishment of Qimingxing, the company's business has continued to grow, which is inseparable from the selfless dedication of everyone present."
