Liu Tao was somewhat puzzled.
Wu Changfeng usually doesn't come to human resources.
It's too much trouble to come.
The place I visit most often is my older sister's office.
Why did you suddenly think of me?
Is there something wrong with my work that has upset him?
No, that's impossible.
I didn't make any mistakes. Even if I did, my older sister would have reminded me long ago.
Liu Tao couldn't quite understand it.
The recruitment process then continued.
Job applicants came and went in a steady stream.
Liu Tao glanced at Wu Changfeng every now and then, but he remained silent, sitting in the corner, seemingly preoccupied with something.
Liu Tao took the resume when Yu Hao arrived.
He looked at it and asked, "Are you willing to work overtime?"
Yu Hao said, "That's no problem."
“Okay,” Liu Tao said. “Our work is not complicated, but it is very tiring. You need to be mentally prepared. The management system is also very strict, and you need to obey it strictly.”
Yu Hao nodded: "As long as you don't bully people."
"No, that won't happen. Come over tomorrow and get used to it for a few days. If it works out, you can officially start working here."
Yu Hao said happily, "Thank you, thank you!"
"Wait a minute."
A voice from the corner interrupted.
Yu Hao looked over and found that it was actually the man at the door!
Liu Tao asked, "Yes, is there a problem?"
Wu Changfeng said, "There's no need to hire him."
Yu Hao was horrified!
Although I don't know Wu Changfeng's position, the boss has said that he can start working.
What's it to you?
Who really has the final say?
Yu Hao was a little annoyed and questioned Wu Changfeng: "What exactly do you mean? This is not fair!"
Wu Changfeng waved his hand: "Come with me."
Yu Hao was bewildered again, turning to Liu Tao and asking, "Who is he? Who's in charge here?"
“Go with him,” Liu Tao said. “He’s the big boss; the entire Qimingxing (Morning Star) belongs to him.”
Yu Hao was stunned for a moment.
What!
This person is actually the big boss?
But why call me out alone?
Yu Hao's eyes darted around: "Does that mean my employment still counts?"
"It's not up to me to decide now."
"Is it the same for others?"
Liu Tao replied, "No, that's not true... Big bosses usually don't come here."
"So I'm being targeted?" Yu Hao muttered to himself, "I didn't even know him before!"
Liu Tao shrugged, who knows what Wu Changfeng was thinking.
He had no choice but to take back the entry pass from Yu Hao's hand, pointed outside, and signaled Yu Hao to leave.
Yu Hao arrived in the corridor with a head full of questions.
Wu Changfeng beckoned: "Come here."
Then the two entered Wu Changfeng's office.
Yu Hao sat on the sofa and questioned, "Boss, all I want to do is work and earn money. I don't understand what you're doing."
Wu Changfeng leaned back in his office chair, his eyelids drooping: "How much money can you make working? I asked you what you used to do, you can answer that now."
Yu Hao twitched his eyelids: "No, what I did before has nothing to do with this job?"
Wu Changfeng smiled but didn't say anything.
Yu Hao had no choice but to say, "Fine, I used to be a hoodlum, but I'm not anymore. I just want to make money to support my family. You think Qimingxing will discriminate against me?"
"As expected." Wu Changfeng leaned forward. "I knew I hadn't misjudged you."
Yu Hao remained silent, unable to understand what Wu Changfeng meant.
"If you don't want to hire me, just say so. Why waste time?" Yu Hao said.
Wu Changfeng laughed and said, "Actually, you can't really make much money in the workshop. At most, you can only make a little over a thousand yuan a month. It's not very interesting."
Yu Hao's face darkened.
Is this what you call boring?
Making money on the streets is easy, but you have to risk your life with a machete.
Working is great, it's comfortable and you have a guaranteed income regardless of drought or flood.
Yu Hao said, "I feel great, I like this stable life."
Wu Changfeng shook his head: "How about this, I'll give you a chance."
"Will you let me join the company?" Yu Hao asked expectantly.
Wu Changfeng denied it, saying, "It's impossible for me to get the job."
"What else is there to say? Let's go!" Yu Hao left immediately.
"However, you can do something for me. You know what I mean without me saying it," Wu Changfeng said with a smile.
Yu Hao stopped and turned to look back.
Then he sat back down, put his hands on his lap, and asked, "You want to take a gray area?"
"Too low-class," Wu Changfeng said. "I lack nothing."
Yu Hao laughed and said, "So you're just missing a breath?"
"Great!" Wu Changfeng gave a thumbs up: "Someone like you understands things immediately."
Yu Hao thought for a moment, hesitated for a while, and asked, "What's wrong? I don't want to work here anymore. Forget about killing people, I don't want to do that."
Wu Changfeng said, "If you handle things well, you won't have to resort to force. It's just that there are some things I can't do myself."
"Then tell me."
Wu Changfeng pointed at Yu Hao's lips: "Just move your lips."
Yu Hao's eyes lit up: "So, you're trying to smear me, huh?"
“No,” Wu Changfeng said, “Tell me first, can you do it?”
How much?
Wu Changfeng held up one finger: "100,000, and I'll also provide you with a car. I'll cover all your food and drink expenses. During this process, you might need some helpers, not many, just three or four will do. I'll cover their expenses, 30,000 each."
"So few people? What are they doing?"
Wu Changfeng closed the distance and whispered, "Do you know about the Trade City?"
Yu Hao shook his head: "I don't know..."
