Chapter 7 is on the pole.

The next day.

Wu Changfeng opened his eyes to the chirping of sparrows.

I quickly washed up.

I went out and bought two bags of xiaolongbao (soup dumplings).

Arriving at the alley entrance, I leaned against a tree and swallowed my food.

The willow branches have arrived.

She changed into a simple outfit, black leather shoes, and her ponytail swayed wildly.

Wu Changfeng tossed over a bag of steamed buns: "Let's eat and chat."

Willow Branch was direct: "What do you need me to do?"

Wu Changfeng first gave a brief description of the fishbone antenna.

Then he said:

“Come with me to Linxi Coal Mine. You are the daughter of a Hong Kong businessman, and I am your partner. We will invest in a processing plant together.”

"Because we need to test the waters first, we need to find a contract manufacturer."

"Our goal is to take over the small plant attached to the mining bureau."

"Based on my prediction, the mining bureau will not relinquish its authority to manage employees, and you must be firm and unwavering in taking control of management."

“Employees of state-owned enterprises are used to being lax. If we let them do the work without involving them in management, who knows what kind of trouble might arise.”

"By the way, do you speak Hong Kong and Taiwanese? I just need to be able to make people believe your accent."

With a steamed bun stuffed in his mouth, Liu Tiao mumbled, "What a coincidence, I have actually been to the gateway city and met with Hong Kong businessmen."

"But those guys are all like monkeys, extremely hard to fool. I almost got scammed myself, so I had to run back to the mainland."

Wu Changfeng nodded: "It's good that you have knowledge. Your temperament and image are impeccable."

Willow Branch smiled and adjusted her bangs, then asked, puzzled:

"Actually, you don't necessarily need me to manage permissions, do you? Can't you do it yourself?"

Wu Changfeng smiled wryly: "It's not that it can't be done, it's just a bit difficult. I originally wanted a factory, but I kept making demands and asking for this and that, which annoyed them."

"At this point, someone is needed to play the 'bad cop,' and you happen to be able to do that."

Willow Twig tilted her head, her tone sarcastic: "We're all old foxes, what's there to hide? This reason is inappropriate, it's not worth you taking notice of me and insisting on becoming your partner."

"Okay." Wu Changfeng shrugged: "Actually, your biggest advantage is your thick skin. You'd be a natural in sales."

Willow Branch struggled to suppress its urge to bite, and said sternly, "Have some decency in your words, or you'll be spared a harsh judgment in the underworld."

Wu Changfeng said, "Let's not worry about what happens after we die, let's just walk the path of the living. Let's go, let's set off, don't keep the mine manager waiting."

Willow Twig followed behind, holding back for a long time, wanting to say something.

quite a while.

Willow Twig still asked, "Aren't you falling short? You're only talking about work, what about my salary?"

"There is no salary, only dividends."

"You've put a carrot on a donkey's head!" Willow said through gritted teeth.

No, this is just empty promises, Wu Changfeng muttered to himself.

Willow Stalk sighed, "Have I gotten myself on a sinking ship?"

"A large ship sailing against the wind and waves."

"Then you better not capsize, or I'll turn around and leave."

Wu Changfeng turned around, staring intently at the willow branches: "Very steady."

To highlight the high-class status of the daughter of a Hong Kong businessman.

Wu Changfeng rented a car and drove directly into the Linxi Coal Mine.

Inside the mine manager's office.

Director Chai of the Mining Bureau, Director Huo of Linxi Coal Mine, Section Chief Liu of the Electromechanical Department, and several staff members.

There were also engineers and translators from the island nation's Sanyuan Coal Mining Machinery Factory, several groups of people sitting separately.

The room was filled with thick smoke, which was pungent and irritating to the nose and mouth.

The engineer from Sanyuan looked displeased and muttered something to the translator.

The translator addressed the crowd, saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, the engineers from the island nation have been here for several days. Although Linxi Coal Mine has treated them very well, the problem with the tunneling machine is still unresolved."

"The engineer meant that they needed an answer today, otherwise the two of them would have no choice but to go back to their home countries."

Section Chief Liu of the Mechanical and Electrical Department slapped his thigh and said first, "Of course, our Linxi Coal Mine wants to solve the problem. To put it simply, it affects the progress of the working face."

"On a larger scale, this relates to the exemplary role of Sanyuan Machinery Factory in China's coal mining industry."

"Can we talk? $100,000 is too much. In business, bargaining is a necessary process."

After a brief discussion between the translator and engineer, the translator said, "I'm sorry, the engineer wasn't talking about business, but rather after-sales service, with a clearly stated price. We hope you understand, and please pay the fees as soon as possible so we can resume the tunneling machine's production schedule."

The atmosphere suddenly became tense, with the island nation engineer displaying an arrogant expression.

It's obvious that you Chinese can't solve this problem; we're holding you by the throat.

To give or not to give?

You won't give it to me?

Apart from us, there is simply no one in China who understands the technical issues involved.

Then let the equipment stand idle!

Section Chief Liu glanced at Director Chai with a fawning smile, indicating that he had done his best, but the other party was unmoved.

"Director Chai, how about we pay them? We really have no other choice. This equipment is too advanced, and the maintenance manuals are all in Japanese. Our electromechanical department is willing but unable to provide it."

Director Chai ignored him and turned to Mine Manager Huo: "You're in charge of Linxi Coal Mine, what do you think?"

Director Huo took a drag of his cigarette, glanced at the time, and said, "I'll say it again, wait a bit."

"What did you report to me yesterday?"

“Yes.” Mine Manager Huo stubbed out his cigarette. “Let’s see what it’s made of. The tunneling machine has been broken down for so long, a little longer won’t make a difference.”

"I had a brief discussion with the leadership team this morning, and we generally agree to the solution as long as the problem is resolved. However, we cannot relinquish management authority."

Director Chai continued, "But I'm afraid you'll be deceived, so I'm here today to check things out."
