Lin Yu and the others continued their journey through the ice forest. Having just escaped the threat of the Ice Soul Bird, their nerves were still tense. Xiao Yi whispered to himself, gripping his weapon tightly, his eyes gleaming with a fiery glint, ready to embrace any new challenge.
Lu Ming pushed his glasses up, his eyes revealing a hint of fatigue, but more of a focus. He constantly observed his surroundings, trying to find clues to the Dark Cult's headquarters from the traces in the ice forest. "This ice forest seems to have some patterns in its layout. Perhaps I can find my way through them," Lu Ming silently analyzed in his mind, while also keeping an eye on his teammates' condition, ensuring that everyone was in good fighting shape.
You Qianxue maintained her usual stern demeanor, forming hand seals as icy energy flowed through her. She could sense the powerful force hidden deep within the icy forest, and a sense of vigilance grew in her heart. "The closer we get to the Dark Cult's headquarters, the greater the danger. We must proceed with caution," You Qianxue mentally reminded herself, a hint of nervousness in her eyes.
Bing Ling'er followed in the middle of the group. Her body hadn't fully recovered yet, but her eyes were filled with determination. "I must avenge my classmates and stop holding everyone back," Bing Ling'er silently resolved. She unleashed a trace of ice power, sensing the energy fluctuations around her, attempting to provide some assistance to the team.
Lu Fan followed the team, his eyes flashing with complex light. The previous guilt had not completely dissipated, but the seeds of jealousy quietly took root in his heart. He looked at Bing Ling'er's intimacy with Lin Yu and others, and the fire of jealousy in his heart burned more and more. "Bing Ling'er should have been mine. Lu Fan looked at Lin Yu with a crazy smile on his face. "Lin Yu, you snatched Bing Ling'er away and embarrassed me in front of everyone. Today I want you to pay the price!" Lu Fan said, rushing up again with the ice blade in hand.
Xiao Yi was furious when he saw this. "Lu Fan, you bastard, you actually launched a sneak attack!" Xiao Yi roared, waving his weapon and rushing forward to block Lu Fan's attack.
Lu Ming and You Qianxue also reacted. They quickly set up a defensive formation to prevent Lu Fan's attack from affecting others. Lu Ming looked at Lu Fan, a hint of disappointment in his eyes. "Lu Fan, how could you do such a thing? We are fighting against the Dark Cult now, not the time for internal strife!"
Lu Fan didn't listen to the advice at all. His eyes were filled with hatred for Lin Yu. "If you all help him, I will kill you all!" Lu Fan shouted frantically, continuously casting ice spells to attack Xiao Yi and the defensive formation.
