Lin Yu and the others continued to climb up the stairs of the Tower of Light. The tower was eerily quiet, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing in the empty space. After the fierce battle on the previous floor, everyone was exhausted but full of fighting spirit, and they were full of vigilance and anticipation for the unknown next floor.
Lin Yu walked in front, the mysterious key in his hand slightly warm, as if sensing some power within the Tower of Light. His brows furrowed slightly, and he pondered in his heart: "Every floor of this Tower of Light is full of dangers. What challenges will the next floor bring? What deeper connection does the mysterious key have to all this?" He knew that with every step forward, they were one step closer to the secrets of the Dragon Kingdom, and also one step closer to danger.
Su Yao followed closely behind Lin Yu, her eyes scanning the surroundings from time to time, alert to any possible danger. Recalling the difficult battle on the previous floor, she was still frightened, but Lin Yu's firm figure reassured her. "Lin Yu, do you think we can get through this time?" Su Yao asked softly, with a hint of worry in her voice.
Lin Yu turned his head and gave her a comforting smile, "Don't worry, Su Yao. We have been through so much together. As long as we are united, nothing can defeat us." Lin Yu's words were like warm sunshine, dispelling the haze in Su Yao's heart. She nodded slightly and clenched the magic weapon in her hand.
Xiao Yi walked carefree aside. His wound had been simply bandaged, but it still ached. But this little pain was nothing to him. He rubbed his hands together, excitedly saying, "Who cares what's on the next level? I'll take on as many as I can! I want to see what else this Tower of Light can do!" A confident smile spread across his face, and his fearless spirit returned.
Lu Ming pushed his glasses up, a thoughtful look in his eyes. "The trials of the Tower of Light are becoming increasingly difficult. We can no longer blindly respond as we did before. Every detail is crucial, and we must be even more cautious." Lu Ming's voice was steady and calm, and his words made everyone ponder, realizing that the challenges ahead might be even more severe.
You Qianxue and Bing Ling'er looked at each other, their eyes filled with tacit understanding. You Qianxue said, "Although our ice power was insufficient in previous battles, we have also gained new insights. This time, we will do better." Bing Ling'er nodded firmly, "Yes, we will provide strong support for everyone!"
The man in red silently followed the team, his heart filled with mixed emotions. On the one hand, he was grateful for being able to fight alongside Lin Yu and the others, which gave him the opportunity to make up for his past mistakes. On the other hand, he was filled with anxiety about the upcoming challenges, fearing that he would be unable to protect everyone again. "I can't let everyone down again. When they reached the next level, the sight before them stunned everyone. This level was a massive maze, with strange lights flickering on the surrounding walls, intricate runes carved into the ground, and a mysterious and dangerous aura permeating the entire space.
"Is this... a maze?" Xiao Yi scratched his head and asked with a puzzled look, "How do we get through this thing?"
Lu Ming stepped forward, carefully observing the lights on the wall and the runes on the ground. "These lights and runes seem to have some kind of pattern, which may be the key to unlocking the maze. We must be careful not to touch them lightly." Lu Ming's eyes gleamed with wisdom, and he began to analyze the meaning of these runes in his mind.
Lin Yu nodded and said, "Everyone stay alert and follow me closely. We will take it step by step and we will always find a way through." After that, he took the lead and walked into the maze.
Everyone followed Lin Yu carefully, taking every step with extreme caution. Suddenly, the light on the wall began to flicker, and the runes on the ground also emitted a faint light. Then, a group of monsters made of light appeared in front of them.
"Be careful, there are enemies!" Lin Yu shouted loudly, while holding the mysterious key tightly.
These light monsters had no physical form, their bodies shimmering with strange light as they charged towards the crowd at an extremely fast speed. You Qianxue and Bing Ling'er were the first to cast ice spells, attempting to freeze the monsters, but the effect was not ideal.
"They have no physical form, so ice spells have little effect on them!" You Qianxue shouted.
Xiao Yi rushed forward, brandishing his weapon, trying to attack the monsters, but his weapon went straight through their bodies. "How do we fight this?" Xiao Yi said anxiously.
Lu Ming observed the monsters' movements from behind and discovered that they seemed to be following a pattern of light. "Everyone, pay attention! The monsters' movements are connected to the light on the wall. If we can find the source of the light, we might be able to find a way to defeat them!" Lu Ming exclaimed.
Lin Yu listened to Lu Ming's words and began to observe the light around him. He found that there was a huge light source in the center of the maze, and these light monsters seemed to be born from there. "Everyone follow me to the center of the maze!" Lin Yu said.
Everyone moved towards the center of the maze, dodging the attacks of the light monsters along the way. In the process of moving forward, Lin Yu and others discovered that there were some traps hidden on the walls of the maze, which would be triggered if they were not careful.
When they finally approached the center of the maze, a huge light array appeared before them. Within the array, a crystal emitting an intense light was suspended in the air; it was the source of the light.
"That's it. If we destroy this crystal, we may be able to eliminate these monsters!" Lin Yu said.
However, just as they were about to attack the crystal, it suddenly emitted a strong light, and a huge light figure appeared in the light. The light figure held a lightsaber and looked at them with cold eyes.
