After defeating the monster, the group rested briefly before continuing their journey deeper into the ancient forest. Sunlight struggled to penetrate the layers of branches, casting dappled shadows across the leaf-strewn ground, but their hearts grew heavier. This forest was like a vast mystery, with every step potentially lurking unknown dangers.
Lin Yu walked at the front of the team, weapons in his hands ready to deal with emergencies at any time. His eyes scanned the surroundings vigilantly, but his mind was constantly thinking about the clues to the secret key of spring. "This forest is too strange, we must be extra careful." He whispered, and although his voice was soft, it was clearly heard by everyone. Su Yao followed closely behind, her hand unconsciously pulling the corner of Lin Yu's clothes, her heart full of worry. "Lin Yu, I always feel that there is something hidden in this forest that is spying on us." Her voice trembled slightly, and her eyes wandered around uneasily.
Xiao Yi walked in the middle of the group, weapon slung across his shoulder. He appeared relaxed, yet his muscles were tense. His eyes gleamed with a mixture of excitement and vigilance. "Whatever they have, I'll kill them all!" His voice shattered the forest's silence, but it failed to dispel the gloom in the crowd. He knew deep down that the dangers of this forest were far more complex than they appeared. The monsters he encountered were merely appetizers; the real challenge might yet lie ahead.
Lu Ming and Master Fu Hai walked side by side. Lu Ming, clutching the ancient tome, consulted it as he walked, trying to find clues to his current situation. "Senior, could you please take a look at the solution to the forest mist here?" He pointed to a passage in the tome, his brow furrowed, his eyes filled with worry. Master Fu Hai clasped his hands together and nodded slightly. "Perhaps it could work. We might as well give it a try." His voice was steady, yet his inner uneasiness could not be concealed.
You Qianxue and Bing Ling'er walked hand in hand, cautiously moving forward. You Qianxue's face was pale; her spiritual energy had been depleted in the previous battle and hadn't yet fully recovered. "Sister Bing Ling'er, how are you?" she asked softly, concern in her voice. Bing Ling'er forced a smile, "Sister, I'm fine. Let's work hard together." Her eyes were determined, but her slightly trembling body betrayed her inner fear.
The man in red led the rear, his gaze sharp as a hawk's, scanning every corner. His hand remained on his weapon, ready to respond to any attack from behind. He held a single conviction: to protect everyone until the Key to Spring was found. He recalled his previous battles against the forces of darkness, and those moments of fighting side by side only strengthened his resolve.
Luo Chen and the mysterious man walked to one side of the group. Luo Chen glanced at the mysterious man from time to time, his curiosity growing stronger. "Senior, you seem to know something about this forest?" he finally couldn't help asking. The mysterious man opened his eyes slightly, a subtle glint in his eyes. "This forest is closely connected to the power of spring. The key to spring we seek may be hidden within it." His voice was low and mysterious, making it difficult to understand.
As they continued to venture deeper into the forest, a strange light suddenly shot up from the depths of the forest, followed by the melodious sound of a bell. This light and the sound of the bell seemed to possess some kind of magical power, bringing with them an inexplicable sense of familiarity.
"What is that sound? And that light..." Su Yao said in surprise, her eyes full of confusion. Lin Yu frowned slightly, "Whatever it is, let's go and take a look. Maybe it has something to do with the Secret Key of Spring." After that, he led everyone to walk quickly in the direction of the light.
As they approached, the light grew brighter, and the chimes became clearer. When they finally reached the source of the light, they were stunned by what they saw. Before them lay an ancient altar, engraved with mysterious runes. At its center sat a softly glowing crystal ball. Within the crystal, a faint figure seemed to flicker.
"This is..." Lu Ming walked forward in surprise, carefully examining the altar and crystal ball. At this moment, the figure in the crystal ball suddenly became clear, and a crisp voice came from inside: "Warriors from the Spirit Snow Realm, welcome to the entrance of the Spring Rain Realm."
Everyone looked at each other, their hearts filled with confusion. "Spring Rain Realm? What is that place?" Xiao Yi asked loudly. The figure in the crystal ball smiled and said, "Spring Rain Realm is a world closely connected to the power of spring. The clue to the secret key of spring is hidden there. But to enter Spring Rain Realm, you must pass a test."
Lin Yu took a deep breath and stepped forward. "What test? We are willing to accept it." His eyes revealed firmness and determination. The figure in the crystal ball nodded. "The test is that you must solve the rune puzzle on the altar within the specified time, otherwise you will never be able to enter the Spring Rain Realm."
As soon as he finished speaking, the runes on the altar suddenly flickered, forming a series of intricate puzzles. Lu Ming's eyes lit up instantly, and he eagerly stepped forward to examine the runes carefully. "Don't panic, everyone. Let me take a look at these runes." His voice was filled with excitement. He had a natural passion and talent for solving puzzles.
Master Fu Hai also stepped forward, using his spiritual power to try to sense the runes' power fluctuations. "These runes contain ancient powers, and we must handle them with caution." His voice was steady and calm, yet it revealed a reverence for the runes.
Lin Yu and Su Yao stood aside, vigilantly observing the movements around them. Lin Yu felt a little uneasy in his heart. He always felt that everything was too smooth, as if there was some conspiracy behind it. "Su Yao, be careful. This test may not be that simple." He whispered to Su Yao. Su Yao nodded slightly, holding Lin Yu's hand tightly, and her heart was also full of worry.
