Chapter 221: Bloody Battle, Bloody Oath of the Dawning Journey

Luo Chen's body slowly collapsed. In that moment, the entire chamber seemed drained of all life, leaving only endless sorrow and deathly silence. The mysterious figure roared to the heavens, his voice filled with rage and sorrow, resonating through the chamber like a physical substance, shaking the air around him slightly. The magical weapon in his hand shone brightly, its intense light dispelling the surrounding darkness and forcing the shadows back several feet.

Lin Yu slowly let go of Luo Chen's hand and stood up. His eyes were red, full of self-blame and grief. "It's all my fault. If I had been more careful about my surroundings, Luo Chen wouldn't have..." His voice was hoarse, and every word seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth. Su Yao hugged him gently, tears streaming down her face. "Lin Yu, this is not your fault. None of us expected this to happen..." Her voice was filled with tears, and her heart was also filled with guilt. She felt that she had not been able to protect her companions.

Xiao Yi snapped back to his senses, snatched up his weapon from the ground, and rushed madly towards the shadows, shouting, "I'm going to kill you! Avenge Luo Chen!" His eyes burned with the rage of someone who had lost a close friend. His attacks were utterly chaotic, driven solely by passion and rage. Every swing of his weapon carried immense force, as if to rip the shadows before him to shreds.

You Qianxue and Bing Ling'er hugged each other and cried bitterly. Bing Ling'er's body was shaking like a sieve: "Sister, Brother Luo Chen... why did this happen..." You Qianxue hugged her tightly and cried: "Don't be afraid, sister, we must avenge Luo Chen..." Her heart was full of fear and sadness, but at the same time, a strong desire for revenge surged up. She didn't want to see people around her get hurt again.

The red-clothed man's eyes were cold enough to freeze. The weapon in his hand flashed with a cold light, and each strike was a precise strike to the shadow's vitals. His mind replayed the images of him and Luo Chen fighting side by side. Those moments of facing life and death together now fueled his vengeance. "I will definitely protect everyone, Luo Chen, don't worry..." He vowed silently in his heart, his steps still unbroken, continuing to shuttle through the shadows, each attack laced with the determination to kill.

Lu Ming and Master Fu Hai exchanged a glance, both filled with grief and determination. Lu Ming pushed up his glasses, his eyes bloodshot behind the lenses. "Senior, we can't lose our composure. We must quickly find the weaknesses of these shadows, avenge Luo Chen, and continue our search for the Key to Spring." Master Fu Hai nodded slightly, his hands forming quick seals as his spiritual energy poured into their shields. Though his face was as pale as paper, he showed no sign of retreating. "Alright, I'll do my best to maintain the shields. You figure out a solution quickly."

The mysterious man took a deep breath, suppressing the grief in his heart. His eyes regained their usual depth and calmness, but the sadness deep within them could not be concealed. "Everyone, calm down. Luo Chen's sacrifice must not be in vain. We must fulfill his last wish and find the Secret Key of Spring." His voice was low and powerful, as if he was speaking to the crowd, but also as if he was encouraging himself.

Lin Yu took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He knew that sadness and self-blame would not solve any problems at the moment. They had to cheer up. "Everyone, listen, we can't let Luo Chen's sacrifice be in vain. We must defeat these shadows together and find the secret key of spring!" His voice was firm, with an unquestionable power, and his eyes revealed unprecedented determination.

Everyone nodded, wiped their tears, and returned to the battle. Su Yao gathered her spiritual power, the light shining brighter than ever before. She had only one belief in her heart: revenge for Luo Chen. Her eyes were firm, and the spiritual power balls in her hands kept shooting at the black shadows, trying to weaken their power.

Lin Yu brandished his sword, a sharp light flashing on it. Each of his attacks was filled with endless anger. Luo Chen's smile kept appearing in his mind, the smile when they embarked on their journey together, full of longing for the future. "Luo Chen, I will definitely avenge you, and we will definitely find the secret key of spring!" He muttered silently in his heart, and the sword in his hand danced with great vigor, each strike hitting the shadow's vital point.

Xiao Yi charged through the shadows, his clothes stained with blood, his body indistinguishable from his own. His strength was gradually failing, but the rage within him only grew stronger. "Come on! You damned fellows!" he roared, swinging his weapon down once more, splitting a shadow in two.

You Qianxue and Bing Ling'er supported each other, their icy spiritual powers blending together to form an indestructible ice wall, blocking the shadow's advance. You Qianxue's face was pale, her spiritual power almost exhausted, but she still gritted her teeth and persisted: "Bing Ling'er, we can't give up. We must avenge Luo Chen!" Bing Ling'er nodded vigorously. Although she was afraid, she still mustered up the courage and released more spiritual power.

While maintaining his shield, Lu Ming carefully observed the shadows' movements. He discovered that, despite their immense power, their movements were becoming increasingly sluggish, as if they were being restrained. "Everyone, these shadows seem to be weakening! Let's work harder!" he shouted, increasing his spiritual energy output.

The mysterious figure watched the shadows' weaknesses, his eyes as sharp as a hawk's, not missing a single detail. Suddenly, he spotted a tiny dot of light above the shadows' heads, which flickered whenever they attacked. "Everyone, pay attention to the shadows' heads! That could be their fatal weakness!" he shouted.

Hearing this, everyone concentrated their attacks on the top of the black shadow's head. Lin Yu jumped high, and the sword in his hand, with a cold light, stabbed at the top of the black shadow's head. "Go to hell!" He roared, and the sword pierced straight into the top of the black shadow's head. The black shadow screamed and dissipated in an instant.
