After defeating the giant black shadow, the stench of blood in the chamber grew stronger, blending with the damp, decayed air, leaving a sickening odor. Lin Yu and the others, exhausted, gathered once again before the ancient tome. The flickering light illuminated their bloodstained and exhausted faces, yet each one's eyes burned with a determined fire, a fervor rooted in their pursuit of the Secret Key of Spring and their commitment to Luo Chen.
Lu Ming's fingers trembled slightly as he flipped through the tome again. As the pages turned, a stale scent washed over him. "Senior, the text is becoming increasingly obscure and difficult to understand." His voice was hoarse, carrying a strain of fatigue and anxiety that was difficult to conceal. Master Fu Hai frowned, leaning in to examine it carefully, his eyes filled with gravity. "Don't rush. Take your time to decipher it. Luo Chen's sacrifice must not have been in vain. Lin Yu stood aside, looking at the classics, and the figure of Luo Chen appeared in his mind again. He felt a mixture of emotions, with self-blame and determination intertwined. "Luo Chen, don't worry, no matter what the cost, I will find the secret key of spring." He muttered silently in his heart, his hands unconsciously clenched, and the blue veins on the back of his hands bulged. Su Yao leaned gently beside him, her face pale, her eyes full of worry and concern: "Lin Yu, don't put too much pressure on yourself, we will face it together." Lin Yu turned to look at her, a hint of tenderness flashed in his eyes, and he gently held her hand: "With you here, I have the courage to keep going."
Xiao Yi sat in a corner, pausing to polish his weapon. He stared at the ground, his eyes hollow and lost. Luo Chen's departure had hollowed out a part of his heart. "Luo Chen, you, how could you just leave like that..." he murmured, his voice filled with despair. Suddenly, he tightened his grip on his weapon, stood up, his gaze resolute. "But don't worry, I will definitely fulfill our wish and find the Secret Key of Spring."
You Qianxue and Bing Ling'er huddled together, Bing Ling'er's body still trembling slightly. "Sister, I'm so scared! Will there be even more terrifying enemies in the future?" Her voice was tearful, her eyes filled with fear. You Qianxue gently stroked her hair, trying to calm herself. "Don't be afraid, sister. With everyone here, we will definitely overcome all difficulties. Brother Luo Chen risked his life to protect us, and we cannot let him down." Although her voice was firm, her heart was filled with anxiety.
The man in red remained like a silent statue, guarding the chamber's entrance. His eyes scanned the surroundings warily, not missing a single movement. "Everyone, we must hasten. The dark forces won't give us much time." His voice was deep and powerful, breaking the silence in the chamber. Everyone nodded, their eyes revealing firm determination.
At this moment, a low roar suddenly rang out from the secret room. The sound seemed to come from far away underground, with a chilling chill. "What's that sound?" Lin Yu gripped his sword cautiously, his eyes revealing vigilance. Everyone stood up and took fighting stances.
Strange black lines slowly emerged from the chamber's walls, spreading rapidly like twisted vines. As the lines spread, a thick, dark aura filled the air, sending shivers down one's spine. Then, the outline of a massive black goat gradually emerged from the wall, its eyes gleaming blood-red, emanating an endless stream of evil and terror.
"What...what is this?" Su Yao cried out in horror, and her body unconsciously hid behind Lin Yu. Lin Yu protected her tightly, his eyes revealing firmness and determination: "Don't be afraid, I'm here. No matter what it is, we will not back down."
The mysterious man's expression grew grave. He carefully observed the outline of the black goat, a hint of confusion and shock in his eyes. "Is this... is this the legendary evil black goat? It's said to be the guardian of darkness, possessing strange and powerful powers."
The black goat's silhouette gradually became clear. It let out a deafening roar, then slowly emerged from the wall. Its massive body shook the ground with every step. "Foolish humans, how dare you trespass here? You will all become my sacrifice!" The black goat's voice was low and hoarse, filled with endless malice.
Lin Yu rushed forward first, the sword in his hand flashing with a sharp light: "Everyone be careful, let's go together! For Luo Chen, for the secret key of spring, let's fight!" Everyone responded, their eyes full of determination and anger.
Su Yao quickly gathered her spiritual power, and light flickered in her hands. She had only one belief in her heart: to protect Lin Yu and everyone, and to avenge Luo Chen. "Lin Yu, I'll help you!" She shouted loudly, and the spiritual power balls in her hands shot towards the black goat like meteors.
Xiao Yi brandished his weapon, charging at the black goat like a ferocious beast. "See how I deal with you, monster!" he roared, each strike carrying immense force. However, the black goat simply tossed its head, sending him back several feet.
Lu Ming and Master Fu Hai were at the rear, using their spiritual energy to provide shields for everyone. Lu Ming's forehead was covered with fine beads of sweat. While maintaining the shield, he quickly thought of a countermeasure. "Senior, the power of this black goat is too strong. We must find its weakness, otherwise it will be difficult to win." He said anxiously. Master Fu Hai clasped his hands together, muttering something, and spiritual energy continued to flow into the shield: "I will do my best to maintain the shield, you must find a solution as soon as possible."
