Everyone collapsed on the stench of decay. Their relief at having survived hadn't yet faded, but exhaustion and vigilance washed over them like a tide. This hard-fought victory had made them realize that every inch of air in this strange world lurked a deadly danger. Lin Yu was the first to stand up, his sword still tightly gripped in his hand. Although the blade was stained red with blood, his eyes remained sharp as an eagle's, and he surveyed his surroundings vigilantly.
"Everyone, get up. This is not a good place. We can't slack off in the slightest." Lin Yu's voice was low and firm. He knew very well that in this dangerous and strange place, any negligence could lead them into an irretrievable situation.
Su Yao slowly stood up, her legs still trembling slightly. She subconsciously moved closer to Lin Yu, as if only by his side could she find a sense of security. "Lin Yu, what should we do next? How many dangers are hidden in the depths of this fog?" Her voice trembled, and fear followed her like a shadow, but the determination in her eyes never wavered.
Xiao Yi wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and stood up, the weapon in his hand gleaming coldly in the mist. "No matter what other monsters there are, I'm not afraid! I must avenge Luo Chen!" His eyes burned with the flames of revenge, and every breath was filled with anger and unwillingness. He recalled the life-and-death moments he had experienced with Luo Chen, those memories of fighting side by side, and now they became his driving force.
You Qianxue and Bing Ling'er supported each other to their feet. Tears still clung to Bing Ling'er's face. "Sister, I'm so scared..." Her voice was tinged with tears, and her body was trembling slightly. You Qianxue gently stroked her hair, trying to calm herself. "Don't be afraid, sister. We will definitely find a way out and the key to spring." Although You Qianxue was also filled with fear, she knew she had to be strong and be a support for her sister.
Lu Ming stood up and adjusted his glasses, his eyes filled with anxiety and thought. "The secrets of this strange world extend far beyond these shadows. We must quickly uncover the clues to the Key of Spring, or we will never escape the clutches of darkness." He knew he shouldered the heavy responsibility of guiding everyone, and every thought he had weighed on their survival.
Master Fu Hai clasped his hands together and chanted something, attempting to dispel the fear in the hearts of the people with Buddhist teachings. "Amitabha, may the Buddha bless us and allow us to find the light of hope in this perilous situation." His face was pale, beads of sweat beaded on his forehead, and he silently prayed for everyone to safely survive this crisis.
The man in red stood silently behind the crowd, like a silent mountain, his eyes ever alert to any movement around him. He held a single conviction: to protect everyone, no matter what awaited them. Images of him fighting alongside Luo Chen resurfaced in his mind, those moments of shared life and death becoming the source of his strength to persevere.
The mysterious man's brow furrowed, his eyes filled with solemnity and contemplation. "This world is strange beyond imagination, and the plans of the dark forces may be far beyond our comprehension. We must quickly understand the situation here and find a way to overcome it." He knew that the challenge they faced would be unprecedentedly difficult.
After a brief rest, they cautiously made their way deeper into the fog. The mist grew thicker, like an invisible wall, obstructing their vision. With every step, they could sense the pervasive air of danger, as if countless pairs of eyes were watching them from the darkness.
Suddenly, a huge stone forest appeared in front of us. These stone forests had strange shapes, some like twisted human bodies, and some like monsters with bared fangs and claws. Shrouded in fog, they looked even more eerie and terrifying.
"Everyone be careful, there may be danger hidden in this stone forest." Lin Yu whispered, his hand tightly gripping the sword, ready to deal with any possible attack. Everyone slowly walked into the stone forest, taking every step carefully.
At this moment, Bing Ling'er suddenly screamed, "Sister, I think I see something moving!" Everyone immediately stopped and looked around vigilantly. Sure enough, they found some dark shadows moving slowly in the stone forest. The shapes of these shadows were vague, as if they were condensed from mist.
"Prepare for battle!" Lin Yu shouted, rushing towards the shadows first. Everyone gathered their spiritual energy and prepared for the upcoming battle. However, when they approached the shadows, they found that these shadows were not the enemies attacking them, but some illusory images.
Some of these images were scenes they were once familiar with, while others were the fears deep in their hearts. When Lin Yu saw Luo Chen fall, his heart ached, and self-blame and guilt surged into his heart again. "Luo Chen, I will definitely avenge you and find the secret key of spring." He swore silently in his heart.
Su Yao saw the scene of her separation from Lin Yu, and her heart was filled with fear and reluctance. "Lin Yu, I can't lose you..." Her voice was filled with tears, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Xiao Yi saw the power and cruelty of the dark forces, and a strong anger surged in his heart. "I must defeat you and avenge Luo Chen!" The flames of revenge burned in his eyes.
You Qianxue saw Bing Ling'er in danger, and her heart was filled with worry and fear. "Bing Ling'er, I will definitely protect you..." She held Bing Ling'er's hand tightly, as if this could give her strength.
Lu Ming watched as the clues to the Secret Key of Spring gradually faded from the ancient texts, and he felt a surge of anxiety. "No! I must find the clues to the Secret Key of Spring. I can't let everyone's efforts go to waste." His eyes revealed a firm determination.
