Everyone stopped in the corridor of the castle, looking warily in the direction of the strange laughter ahead. Lin Yu gripped his weapon tightly, his heartbeat accelerating involuntarily, but his eyes were firm. As the core of the team, he knew that there could be no panic at this moment. "Everyone be careful, maintain formation." Lin Yu said in a low voice, his voice steady and calm.
Su Yao trembled slightly, her hands unconsciously grasped the corner of Lin Yu's clothes, her eyes full of fear, but more of trust in Lin Yu. He was a man in a black robe, his face stern and his eyes gleaming with evil. Behind him followed several others, also in black robes, their faces masked, their expressions unclear. "You presumptuous fellows, you dare to intrude here? You're courting death," the black-robed man sneered.
Lin Yu looked at the man in black robe warily, secretly guessing his identity and purpose in his heart. "Who are you? Why are you stopping us?" Lin Yu asked loudly.
The black-robed man laughed heartily. "It doesn't matter who I am. What matters is that you can't go any further. The secrets of this far north are not for ants like you to pry into."
After hearing what the man in black robe said, Xiao Yi immediately became furious: "Who do you say is an ant? Come and try if you have the guts, and see how we deal with you!" As he said that, Xiao Yi was about to rush forward, but was stopped by Lin Yu.
"Don't be impulsive, we don't know their strength yet." Lin Yu whispered.
Su Yao watched all this nervously from the side, her heart filled with worry. She knew that this black-robed man and his men were definitely not easy to deal with, and they had to be careful. "Lin Yu, what should we do?" Su Yao asked in a low voice.
Lu Ming observed the black-robed man and his men, trying to find their weaknesses. He found that these people exuded a dark aura, which seemed to have some connection with the Dark Cult they had encountered before. "Lin Yu, they may be related to the Dark Cult." Lu Ming whispered.
Lin Yu nodded, already having a plan in mind. "No matter who they are related to, we can't retreat. Su Yao, you are responsible for protecting everyone in the back; Xiao Yi, you and I will attack them together; Lu Ming, you find an opportunity to use your props to interfere with them." Lin Yu quickly made arrangements.
Everyone nodded, ready to fight. Seeing their reaction, the black-robed man sneered, "You guys who don't know your own limitations, then I'll show you how powerful we are." With that, he waved his hand, and several black-robed men rushed towards the crowd.
Lin Yu and Xiao Yi went forward and started a fierce battle with the black-robed man.
