The victory in the Ice Valley Battle temporarily freed Lin Yu and his companions from the Black Camp's threat. However, the bitter cold of the Far North and the unknown road ahead still loomed like a heavy haze over everyone's hearts. Looking at his exhausted yet joyful teammates, Lin Yu knew that this was just a small stop on a long journey; the real challenge was far from over.
"Everyone, take a break and regain some strength." Lin Yu's voice was a touch tired, but more calm and resolute. He knew that in this perilous far north, every pause was a step toward progress. The teammates found a relatively sheltered spot to sit down, and the children huddled together, the fear still lingering on their faces.
Su Yao leaned against the ice wall, looking at Lin Yu's back, a complex emotion welling up in her heart. She was grateful for Lin Yu's protection in difficult times, and was also pleased that she could contribute to the team. But at the same time, she was also full of worries about the future journey. "Lin Yu, can we really find the Dragon Mythical Kingdom?" Su Yao asked softly, with a hint of confusion in her voice.
Lin Yu turned around, walked to Su Yao, and gently held her hand. "Su Yao, I believe we will find it. The conspiracy of the Dark Cult will not succeed. We will definitely seek justice for the dean and those victims." Lin Yu's eyes revealed a firm belief, as if the mysterious country was not far ahead. Su Yao looked at Lin Yu's firm eyes, and the worry in her heart was slightly relieved. She nodded and smiled weakly.
Xiao Yi sat nearby, polishing his weapon. His eyes still burned with rage. Although the leader of the Black Camp had been defeated, his hatred for the forces of darkness hadn't waned. "None of these Dark Cult lackeys must be spared. Once we find the Dragon Mythical Kingdom and strengthen our strength, we'll show them how formidable we are!" Xiao Yi grumbled, his weapon polished to a shine that gleamed with a cold gleam.
Lu Ming pushed his glasses up, his eyes calm and penetrating behind them. He silently reviewed every detail of the Battle of Ice Valley, reflecting on his team's strengths and weaknesses. "Although we achieved this victory, it came at a significant cost. We must be even more cautious on the road ahead. The Black Battalion is only part of the Dark Order, and we don't know what kind of enemies we'll encounter ahead." Lu Ming's voice was deep and powerful, and his words rekindled everyone's previously relaxed mood.
Lingxi's body was still weak. She leaned on the simple stretcher that Lin Yu had prepared for her, her heart filled with guilt. "If I were stronger, I could help everyone more." Lingxi said self-reproachfully, with a hint of loss in her eyes. Lin Yu walked to Lingxi and gently touched her head. "Lingxi, you've done a great job. Without your spiritual power to interfere with the enemy, it would have been difficult for us to achieve this victory. You should rest well. Once you have recovered your strength, we will still need your help." Lin Yu said gently. Lingxi listened, a touch of emotion flashed in her eyes, she nodded, and stopped talking.
After a short rest, the group set out again on their journey to find the mythical dragon kingdom. They continued along the exit of the ice valley, the surrounding scenery still covered in ice and snow, and the cold wind howled, as if telling them of the cruelty of this land.
As they moved forward, Lin Yu always walked at the front of the team, vigilantly observing the movements around him. He felt a vague uneasiness in his heart, always feeling that there seemed to be some danger waiting for them ahead. Suddenly, he saw some strange footprints appearing on the ice ahead. These footprints were large and did not look like human footprints, but more like those left by some huge beast.
"Everyone be careful, there may be danger ahead." Lin Yu whispered to his teammates, while tightening his grip on his weapon. The teammates stopped and looked ahead nervously. Xiao Yi walked forward and carefully observed the footprints. "These footprints look fresh and large. I wonder what left them." Xiao Yi frowned and said, a hint of vigilance in his eyes.
Lu Ming also approached, squatting down to carefully examine the shape and depth of the footprints. "Judging from their shape and depth, they must have been left by a large, powerful creature. We must be careful and not provoke them lightly." Lu Ming's voice was calm and steady, but a hint of worry lingered in his eyes.
At this moment, a low roar suddenly came from the front. The sound was like thunder, echoing in the snow and ice, making everyone's eardrums hurt. The children screamed in fear at the sudden sound. Su Yao quickly protected them behind her, a nervous expression on her face.
"Everyone, prepare for battle!" Lin Yu shouted loudly, unleashing the combined power of Libra and Cancer at the same time. A faint glow surrounded his body. Xiao Yi also brandished his weapon, striking a fighting stance, his eyes filled with fighting spirit. Su Yao once again unleashed her own power, condensing a thin layer of ice shield around the team to protect them. Lu Ming began to quickly form seals, preparing to cast a formation just in case. Although Lingxi was weak, she also concentrated her mind, trying to sense the movements of the creatures ahead.
As the roar grew closer, a massive figure emerged into view. It was a massive ice bear, more than two men tall, covered in thick white fur that gleamed with an icy light in the sunlight. Its eyes were red, brimming with ferocity and fury. It opened its massive mouth, revealing sharp teeth, and roared once more.
