When Li Cheng met with Du Dapeng, the call he received was from Yan Hua.
Yan Hua told him on the phone, "Your brother-in-law is back and wants to get together with you."
Because Li Cheng wanted to discuss something with Du Dapeng, they made an appointment to have tea together in the evening.
The place where Li Hui drove Li Cheng to drink tea was called Pincha Xiaozhu. Li Cheng knew this place, but he heard that it was a good place for drinking tea. In fact, the main attraction was the mahjong rooms upstairs.
On the way, Li Hui told Li Cheng that he didn't invite anyone to have tea there, but he would definitely meet someone he knew.
Sure enough, when they got there and just walked in, a fat man suddenly exclaimed, "Ouch!" and said, "Isn't this Mr. Li? When did you come back? Why didn't you give me a heads up so I could welcome you back?"
As he spoke, the man walked forward, stretching out his fat hands. Li Hui only held out one hand, and the man took that hand with both hands and shook it violently a few times.
"Mr. Han, you are getting richer and richer." Li Hui said with a smile.
"Hahahaha... Thanks to Mr. Li, everything has been going smoothly recently, hahahaha..."
"As long as it goes well, as long as it goes well..."
The fat man held Li Hui's hand tightly, refusing to let go, as if he had something to say. Li Hui smiled slightly and said, "Oh, I forgot to introduce my little brother. Li Cheng, I work in a bank."
The fat man let go of his hand and shook Li Cheng's hand instead, shaking it while saying, "My last name is Han. Mr. Li is embarrassed to say it, so I'll say it myself. I'm Han Big Duck. You are Mr. Li's little brother, and you are also my little brother."
Li Cheng looked at the fat man and thought to himself, you must be Han Dayuzi. I have only heard of your voice but never seen you. But I have eaten a lot of your earthen oven roast duck!
There is a delicacy in Weizhou City that was rated as a famous delicacy as early as the 1980s. It is Han’s earthen oven roast duck.
It is said that the ancestor of the Han family was a roast duck chef in a roast duck restaurant in Beijing. Later, when he encountered troubled times, he returned to his hometown Weizhou from Beijing and brought back the roast duck skills.
Of course, only the Han family knows whether this is true or not. After all, a delicacy with a background story can also add some mystery to the dish.
"I'm Li Cheng, hello Mr. Han!" Li Cheng greeted politely.
"Okay, okay..." Mr. Han said as he loosened his hand and turned his head towards Li Hui.
Li Hui said, "I have something to do with this young man. Mr. Han, please..."
Only then did Mr. Han say, "Mr. Li, please go ahead and do your work. I'll come back to see you."
Li Hui nodded at him and walked towards the stairs.
Behind him, Mr. Han called out, "Waiter, waiter, Mr. Li's bill is on me."
Li Cheng laughed softly after hearing the shout. Li Hui, who was walking in front, heard the laughter and turned around and said, "He's like that, as if he's afraid that others won't know who's coming."
Li Cheng followed behind and looked up and said, "Is President Han also drinking tea here?"
"He comes here to drink tea and play mahjong. It all depends on what he's doing."
As they were talking, the two of them had already reached the second floor. Li Hui walked to the other side of the corridor and stopped in front of a door.
Li Hui turned the doorknob, but the door didn't open. Li Hui was stunned for a moment, then said a little embarrassedly: "Maybe they forgot to open the door in advance."
As soon as he finished speaking, he heard hurried footsteps coming from the stairs...
The two turned around and saw a woman in cheongsam appearing on the stairs.
The tall woman, with a key hanging from her finger, walked towards us and said sheepishly, "Hey, look at Mr. Li. He thought about opening the door in advance after answering the phone, but he was so busy that he forgot. If Mr. Han hadn't yelled at him, I would have made Mr. Li angry."
The voice fell and the person arrived. It was only a dozen steps from the stairs to the door, but the woman finished her words just in time.
The woman bent down slightly to open the door, then stepped aside to invite Li Hui and Li Cheng into the room.
Li Hui didn't go in first, but said to her, "Mr. Weng, I think you're very busy tonight. I see quite a few cars parked outside."
The woman smiled apologetically and said, "You don't usually need me, but tonight..."
She didn't say anything else, just smiled and shook her head. Li Hui smiled and walked in without asking any more questions.
Li Cheng nodded at her and followed her in.
"Is everything okay here?" Li Hui put down her handbag and looked around the room.
Li Cheng saw that this was a tea room. There was a tea table by the window, a few chairs, a bookshelf with a few books on one side, and a few green plants. It was simple but comfortable.
Li Cheng walked to the tea table, touched it, and said, "Not bad, not bad. Drinking tea here is very expensive, right?"
Li Hui shook his head and said with a smile: "If we just drink tea, it will be too expensive."
Li Cheng thought about it and realized that drinking tea here should not be called drinking tea, but using tea as a medium.
The meaning behind tea is not tea, but the affairs of the world.
Li Hui pointed upwards and said, "There's a mahjong room upstairs. Want to play a few rounds?"
Li Hui shook his head and said, "I think it's nice to just drink tea here."
Li Hui smiled and started to make tea.
Li Hui's movements were very skillful, and he seemed to be able to wash the tea and boil the water just as well.
But Li Cheng felt that shouldn't such a place have a young lady with arms as white and tender as spring lotus roots and a pair of delicate hands serving tea?
Just as he was thinking about it, Li Hui said, "I like to make tea. It's the easiest time to calm down."
Li Cheng then realized that it was not that the man could not afford the young lady, but that he liked it this way.
