Enraged by his reckless behavior, Mo Yunzhao gritted her teeth, straightened her skirt, and snatched the belt back.
Ling Jingyu's hands are truly never still.
She tugged at a blade of grass, then tugged at Mo Yunzhao's skirt, gently stroking the plum blossom embroidery on her dress.
Mo Yunzhao gritted her teeth in anger, making a gesture of smoothing her skirt to brush his hand away.
Ling Jingyu didn't make another move, but instead looked up at her with a sly smile.
Her smile was radiant and warm, giving one a feeling of the rising sun.
Mo Yunzhao simply got up and leaned against the tree trunk, closed his eyes, and ignored Ling Jingyu.
Out of sight, out of mind.
Perhaps she was tired; after leaning back for a while, her breathing became long and even.
Ling Jingyu squatted down in front of her, watching her close her eyes and breathe deeply, as if she had fallen asleep.
When she's asleep, she's not so aggressive.
He noticed that her hair ornaments were gone, and her long black hair was spread out like silk, her face was clean and fair.
In this idyllic place, she was like a little fairy, a little elf.
Ling Jingyu looked at the flowers here, which were colorful and very beautiful.
I got up and picked some flowers.
The small animals hiding in the grass saw him, hopped and hid in another patch of grass, then poked their little heads out and looked at Mo Yunzhao.
Mo Yunzhao woke up after sleeping for a short while.
It was nearly dusk, and the sky was orange on the horizon.
She opened her eyes and saw a large bouquet of flowers in front of her, yellow, pink, red, and all kinds of beautiful and exquisite flowers.
She turned her head again and saw Ling Jingyu sitting cross-legged, holding a flower wreath that was almost finished being woven.
The flowers were white, and red plum blossoms were inserted between them.
He acted as if he didn't know she had woken up.
He was weaving a flower wreath, and she glanced at him sideways.
The sun is setting in the west, and life is peaceful and serene.
Ling Jingyu finished weaving the flower wreath, looked up at Mo Yunzhao, and smiled brightly, "Does it look good?"
Mo Yunzhao instinctively wanted to answer, but then looked away, saying, "This city lord is blind."
Ling Jingyu smiled and said, "Eat some of the food the monkeys prepared to fill your stomach."
It's a wild fruit.
The animals here are very intelligent; they don't even eat the fish in the lake.
Mo Yunzhao took a red fruit, took a small bite, and the bright red juice overflowed from the corner of her lips, staining them like soft flower petals, which was quite beautiful.
Ling Jingyu then knelt behind her and reached out to grab her hair.
Mo Yunzhao turned his head slightly, wanting to turn to the side, but was pressed down on the shoulder.
"Ah Zhao, don't move."
His voice was gentle, yet domineering.
If she doesn't comply, he has plenty of ways to keep her in line.
Mo Yunzhao munched on a fruit, feeling Ling Jingyu's fingers as he used them as a comb to brush through her hair.
Long, slender fingers, through the hair, the slightly calloused fingertips gently stroking the scalp.
A different feel than a comb.
It brought her a sense of calm, yet also a sense of unease.
As the sun set, Mo Yunzhao munched on fruit while Ling Jingyu knelt behind her, his fingers deftly combing her hair, braiding small braids on either side of her ears and temples.
Then she took out a thin hair ribbon, tied the two small braids behind her head, and secured them.
Time stands still, while beauty flows on.
Her wildly flowing black hair was instantly straightened.
After he finished, he placed the woven flower wreath on her head.
"Beautiful." Ling Jingyu lowered his head slightly, smiling as he looked at her with narrowed eyes.
The wreath's reflection lingered in the water; stray hairs clung to her forehead, swaying gently in the breeze, revealing her delicate cheeks and jade-like skin.
How to see it, how to understand it.
He was very satisfied with what he saw.
