Mo Jinghao watched, and with all his might, rolled over to avoid the cleaver.
As the machete fell repeatedly, he rolled over in fear, his terror of death intensifying.
Until he rolled to the corner of the wall, with nowhere to escape, he could only stare wide-eyed as the gleaming cleaver fell from the sky, his heart almost stopping.
"stop!"
A powerful force struck the machete, causing it to tremble violently.
Mo Yunzhao also exhausted his strength and let go.
With a clang, the machete fell to the ground, just three inches from Mo Jinghao's ear.
A gust of wind blew by, carrying with it a pungent smell of urine, and swept it into the distance.
Mo Yunzhao looked up and saw that it was the clan leader who had called for him to stop.
The clan chief hurried over, stood in front of Mo Yunzhao, and accused her, "You killed your own uncle, aren't you afraid of not being able to face your ancestors after death?"
Mo Yunzhao had calmed down. She raised her eyes and smiled lightly, "Burn down the ancestral hall and the memorial tablets, and we won't have to see each other after we die."
"you……"
The clan leader was speechless after being rebuked. He pointed at Mo Yunlan and said, "You're not afraid? Then why don't you think about Mo Yunlan? Why don't you think about the old city lord? His own granddaughter killed his own son. How can he accept that?"
Mo Yunlan stepped forward and stood with Mo Yunzhao. "No need. I support everything A-Zhao does. She kills, I'll hand her the knife."
Mo Yunzhao turned his head and smiled lightly at his elder sister.
This is her good older sister.
Then she glanced at the puddle of urine beneath Mo Jinghao and smiled.
She looked at the clan leader calmly and said, "I am just teaching my second uncle a lesson. Don't be too arrogant, or this will be your fate."
Although it was a setup, she wouldn't allow Mo Jinghao to go too far.
Mo Jinghao's face alternated between white and black, especially when he smelled the stench of urine; he wished he could dig a hole and bury himself in it.
He had lived for decades, and even as a child, he had never been so terrified that he wet himself.
But now, he was so scared by Mo Yunzhao's single move that he wet himself.
Although everyone reacts to death, he still felt ashamed.
The clan leader glanced at Mo Jinghao and also thought it looked particularly ugly. He was, after all, the second master of the Mo family, yet he was so scared that he wet himself.
If this gets out, it will sound awful.
"I'm letting you off today for the sake of my grandfather and elder sister, but if it happens again..."
Mo Yunzhao's eyes turned slightly cold, and he said no more, but everyone understood.
"Sister, let's go."
As Mo Yunlan watched Mo Yunzhao turn around, her red skirt billowed out like flames.
She quickly picked up the machete from the ground and followed him.
When Mo Yunzhao passed Ling Jingyu, he paused slightly, but did not look up at him before walking away.
Mo Yunlan stopped, looked up at Mo Yunzhao who had walked quite far away, and then looked up at Ling Jingyu, whose face was gloomy and icy, as if he had become a completely different person.
After only one glance, she hurriedly followed Mo Yunzhao.
Ling Jingyu lowered his eyes, his long eyelashes casting a small shadow beneath them, concealing the emotions within.
He raised his head and slowly walked over.
The icy atmosphere made them feel as if time itself was frozen, and their bodies were so cold that their blood seemed to freeze as well.
"Rules are determined by those in power."
He said it in a cold and aloof tone, and fearing they wouldn't understand, Ling Jingyu continued in a cold and direct manner.
"Moyang City exists because of Old Master Mo, Mr. and Mrs. Mo, and the Mo Yunzhao sisters. Once they are all gone, then..."
