When Mo Yunzhao returned to the city lord's mansion, he could tell from the sounds that the rioters were blocking the entrance, and the guards were trying their best to keep them from breaking in.
She then sent Mo Yunlan to deliver a message: "Let them handle it themselves. If there's even a scratch on the door, tell them to pack their bags and get out."
Mo Yunlan listened with sparkling eyes, full of admiration, and then immediately went to do it.
Although Mo Jinghao was filled with hatred, he had no choice but to grit his teeth and leave the city lord's mansion with Mo Bici to hide for a while.
But the mob pursued relentlessly.
Watching the two being chased like drowning dogs, Mo Yunlan felt only exhilaration.
She approached Mo Yunzhao and recounted this scene. She held a teacup, her eyes were unfocused as she stared ahead, not even smiling. She couldn't help but lower her gaze.
No matter how funny or exhilarating.
Her Ah Zhao couldn't see either.
Thinking about it, Mo Yunlan sat down beside her, propped her cheeks up with her hands, and began to sigh deeply, like an old woman.
"Sister, what's wrong?"
Mo Yunlan turned her head to look at her and saw that her beautiful eyes were watery, as if she was looking at someone, but she knew that she couldn't see her.
"Ah Zhao, do you know what reckless things His Highness the Crown Prince did to you?"
When Mo Yunzhao thought of the kiss he had given her in the carriage that day, and the kiss he had given her on the hand today, her usually carefree face was instantly flushed.
That's a lecherous man.
Unfortunately, she couldn't beat him.
Mo Yunlan propped her chin on her hand and continued, "That reckless prince actually tied your hair and his hair together and placed them close to his body. You didn't see his expression; he was truly reckless."
Mo Yunzhao: "..."
Compared to him kissing her on the lips, this wasn't considered reckless.
But if you tie their hair together, doesn't that imply that they are a married couple bound by marriage?
What a reckless lecher!
She was so embarrassed and annoyed that she didn't listen to what Mo Yunlan was saying.
By the time she came to her senses, she had already dashed out like a gust of wind.
Mo Yunlan headed to Nianzhao Pavilion in a menacing manner. On the way, she saw the two heads of the Tu and Wang families being chased by a group of rioters, looking quite disheveled.
When she went to Nianzhao Pavilion, she didn't see His Highness the Crown Prince and started fighting with Nie You.
The two fought fiercely. Nie You didn't even draw his sword, and she was defeated and could only slink home.
After Nie You won the battle, he went inside to report.
Ling Jingyu leaned back in the armchair, his red robe spread out, and his long hair, which had just been washed, was still wet and slippery like silk.
This only accentuated his bewitching charm.
He held the knotted strand of black hair in his hand, squinted at it, and raised the corners of his lips in a wide smile.
When Nie You came in, he saw him holding this strand of black hair, his eyes closed, and gently sniffing it.
The corners of her lips were turned up, and she had a satisfied expression.
That looks incredibly reckless.
No wonder Mo Yunlan looked like she wanted to kill someone.
"Your Highness, Miss Mo has called."
Ling Jingyu opened his eyes, straightened his hair, and quickly sat up straight, looking dignified and serious.
"Quickly invite your sister-in-law in and treat her well. Has Ah Zhao arrived yet?"
Seeing his feigned demeanor, Nie You replied woodenly, "I chased him away."
Ling Jingyu narrowed his peach blossom eyes, "Hmm?"
Nie You: "I chased them away."
Ling Jingyu paused for a moment, then rolled his eyes. "You can kneel down."
Nie You gave a bewildered "oh," then knelt down, clutching his sword. Looking up, he asked in confusion, "Why do I have to kneel?"
"You won, but you won't get a wife. You should reflect on your actions." Ling Jingyu lifted his red robe and rode away on the wind, like a streak of fire.
