Before he could finish speaking, the kneeling 'Mo Yunlan' resigned himself to his fate.

The woman looked at Mo Bici with gratitude and kowtowed to her.

Before she could finish speaking, the woman fell to the ground, black blood flowing from the corner of her mouth; she had committed suicide by poisoning herself.
Mo Bici's face turned completely dark. Kowtowing to her, doesn't that imply they're related? Did she frame Mo Yunlan?
But she didn't know this woman.
Emperor Yanwu waved his hand with a dark face, and hurriedly ordered the body to be carried away. Then a group of eunuchs came in and cleaned the floor.
Mo Yunzhao raised his eyes and said in a deep voice, "Your Majesty, the truth has come to light."
Ling Yongqing trembled involuntarily, and then knelt down on the ground with a thud, "Father, spare my life."
Emperor Yanwu looked into those dark, unfocused eyes, yet felt as if he had been seen through. He stroked his beard somewhat nervously, "The truth is out, this matter..."
Mo Yunzhao: "The Crown Prince forcibly abducted a commoner's daughter. Your Majesty should investigate this matter thoroughly. Also, the Crown Prince's bet with me should be fulfilled."
Emperor Yanwu wanted to plead for leniency, but upon meeting Mo Yunzhao's dark, bright eyes, he swallowed his words and said, "Granted!"
Ling Yongqing, who was kneeling, collapsed to the ground.
Mo Yunzhao cupped his hands and said, "Your Majesty, I have another request."
Emperor Yanwu, seeing that she still showed some courtesy, said in a deep voice, "Speak."
