Chapter 100 Orchid Grass

The movie cuts to the commander, who is looking at the arriving shipping containers with a faint smile on his face. He tells the soldiers that the containers contain highly explosive materials and orders all soldiers to guard them carefully.

In the movie, it's evening, and the car has arrived at the mansion of smuggler Lai Kang.

In the car, Lan Hua told Ling Lingqi all the detailed information about Lai Kang, and finally asked, "Do you have any more questions?"

“Yes, is your mother really Nan Xiangyun? As far as I know, she used to be a traitor!” Ling Lingqi looked at Lan Hua.

Seeing that Lan Hua's lips were pursed and her eyelids were slightly drooping, Ling Lingqi quickly said:

"...Sorry, never mind!"

Lan Hua forced a calm expression and said, "It's about time, let's get off the bus!"

The two got off the car.

Lan Hua seemed a little anxious, so Ling Lingqi reached out to stop her and said:

"Alan, after this mission is completed, I will be leaving the South Island."

Tell me what you like, and I'll buy it for you.

"No way?"

"want!"

"That pot of orchids!"

"You're so romantic!" Ling Lingqi smiled.

The orchid smiled, turned its head to the side, and said, "Perhaps it's a gift from me!"

As this sentence was finished, the credits began to roll, marking the end of "Close Combat 2".

Zhang Yu was about to open the comments when a beautiful intro music reached his ears.

There's even an end credits song! He wasn't in a hurry; he was going to listen to it.

Then, he heard a familiar voice—the doll sister's unique, ethereal voice.

I come from the mountains

With orchid grass

Planted in the small garden

I hope the flowers bloom early.

Read three times a day

Time flies when you see flowers.

The orchids, however, remain

There wasn't a single bud.

Autumn is approaching

Move the orchid into the greenhouse

Every day I cherish

I can't forget it every night

I hope the flowers bloom early.

To fulfill a long-cherished wish

Clusters of flowers in the courtyard

Many fragrant flowers bloom...

"It's beautiful!" Zhang Yu really felt that the whole song was great, giving off a serene and tranquil feeling!

Only then did he open the comments section.

As a fan of Hua Disheng, I wait for him to update his videos every day, but after so long, he has only released two episodes.

Goodness, so he joined this film crew as a prop maker!

At first glance, the agent chair looked quite ordinary! The solar-powered flashlight was only passable!

But what happened next was completely outrageous!

A mobile phone shaver, a shaver hair dryer, a blower shaver, and a shoe dryer! I've got five major items, and they're all running in a revolving loop!

The quirky gun that comes next is even more amazing, I have to rave about it! Without a superhuman imagination, who could have come up with such a gun!

Most importantly, the toilet-style hidden communicator is another groundbreaking invention, okay?

You could say that Watson's inventions are a recurring theme throughout "Close Encounters 2," making him a hidden second male lead, right?

[Thumbs up for Doll Sister! In Agents 1 and 2, our Doll Sister played two roles!]

Upon closer inspection, they're practically twins! Both types are a blessing for men.

One is sweet and charming, the other is handsome and dashing—both are my types!

I want to use screenshots to make screen protectors, boot animations, plush pillows, and posters.

You really can't tell this is just a short film!

Stephen Chow's acting skills can be described as natural. His acting style is truly unique!

When Agent 1 was released, many imitations of it appeared online.

I've seen some, and they were all awkward. Because these people are all very unprofessional.

They're all just trying to be funny for the sake of being funny; they don't know the most basic things about acting.

Everything has a root.

The same applies to performance; it conforms to basic behavioral logic.

Before performing, we need to explore the character's surface personality, deep psychological activities, and how they will act under external stimuli.

All behaviors are highly consistent under this rigorous logic.

And what about videos online? They just act however they think is funny, but they often make people cringe. Why is that?

Because it's awkward, the logic breaks down! The style is inconsistent.

I graduated from a proper acting school and have acted in several TV series and played supporting roles in movies. I believe I have some acting skills.

But if you asked me to play the role of Ling Lingqi, I really couldn't do it.

Some big names in comedy came to mind again, and I asked myself, who do you think could do it?

The images of these people, as well as their film and television roles, flashed through my mind.

I found that there is no one who resembles Stephen Chow.

I've noticed that even though these big names all act in comedy, their performance styles are quite different.

They have all developed their own unique performance styles!

Those actors on the market are very difficult to imitate!

In my opinion, Stephen Chow has also found his own unique style!

The ancients spoke of seeking the Tao. Anyone who can comprehend the Tao through their actions in their own field will surely become a leader in that field.

I believe that day will come soon.

Finally, I'd like to say, Stephen Chow, I'm your fan.

The movie was really fun in the beginning, with a fast pace and no dragging at all. There were a lot of jokes, but they weren't the boring kind.

As you watch further, you realize that this film is not as simple as it seems.

The change in Ling Lingqi's facial expression after the child's father was shot was enough to create a suffocating feeling.

That face, those eyes, were filled with emotions that were almost clearly tangible.

At first, he was incredulous, followed by a volcanic eruption of anger that turned his face deathly pale.

After watching the entire series, the logic is completely self-consistent.

From the existing plot, we know that Lan Hua's parents were both traitors, and she was adopted by the commander when she was a child.

From the plot, we can infer that the commander has been mentally lashing out at Lan Hua since she was a child.

He made Lan Hua remember that she was the child of a traitor, and that she was alive to atone for the sins of this country.

He waved the banner of justice and used orchids to help him eliminate his opponents.

In the drama, when he ordered Lan Hua to eliminate Ling Lingqi, he also gave her a detailed file on Ling Lingqi.

So what is written in this file?

In the video call between Lan Hua and Commander after the mall hostage incident, Commander, in order to strengthen Lan Hua's belief, once again took out the file about Ling Lingqi.

The file contained a whole page of photos of the little girl and another page of photos of the pregnant woman.

According to the commander, Ling Lingqi violated many children and pregnant women, committing countless evil deeds and heinous crimes.

Based on this file, Lan Hua, who had always trusted the Commander implicitly, naturally hated Ling Lingqi, a scumbag, to the core!

This also explains why Lan Hua tried to shoot Ling Lingqi three times when she showed him the gun.

Then, disregarding the changes to the commander's plan, he tried to use someone else to kill Ling Lingqi ahead of time.

Overall, as a short film, it raised the bar for short films.

Lastly, "Orchid Grass" is a really nice song. Actually, I'm also a fan of Doll Sister. Doll Sister will be going live tonight at 7 PM!
