Chapter 12: Hands-on

"Those guys are gangsters. They've done a lot of this kind of thing. Besides, they're just a girl and an old man. How powerful can they be?"

"That's right, Shishi, let's just wait here. Once it's over outside, good days will come for our family."

Li Shishi didn't say anything, but listened to the noise outside through the door. She always felt that things would not be so simple.

In the living room, four big men were lying on the ground.

Jing Yao wiped the blood from the knife wound on one of the men and looked at the locked bedroom door with a cold look.

The culprit has not been solved yet.

Looking at the four corpses on the ground, Jing Yao came up with a good idea.

He put the bodies of these four people into his own space warehouse, but of course he had to put them away from his supplies.

She casually grabbed a piece of cloth, which she didn't know what it was used for, and wiped the blood off the ground. Then Jing Yao kicked the cloth under the sofa.

After finishing all this, Jingyao brought her grandfather out of the kitchen.

As soon as my grandfather entered the living room, he smelled blood, but the four big men who were there were nowhere to be seen.

"I beat up those four guys, and they've already left."

If it weren't for the smell of blood in the room, grandpa would almost believe it.

"Grandpa, please sit and wait for me for a while."

Letting grandpa sit down, Jingyao walked to the closed door.

"Uncle Li, haven't you found my aunt's things yet?"

Hearing Jing Yao's voice outside the door, the three people in the room felt a chill all over their bodies.

Those were four big men, and I couldn't even defeat them, so how could Jing Yao be fine?!

"I...I...haven't yet."

Li Shen stammered in reply.

"Then let me help you!"

"No···"

Before Li Shen could say no, Jing Yao kicked open the bedroom door.

The three people in the bedroom looked at Jing Yao as if he was the King of Hell demanding her life.

"You...you...don't come over here!"

"Don't be polite, I'm here to help you, Uncle Li!"

Jing Yao said as she closed the door that she had kicked in.

Grandpa sat in the living room staring blankly at the broken door.

In my ears, I could hear the pleas for mercy and cries of pain from the three members of the Li family.

This... this is still my gentle, adorable granddaughter?!

When Jingyao came out, she saw her grandfather looking at her with a complicated expression.

"grandfather?"

"Ah? Done? Let's go home then."

He was not at all curious about what happened to the family of three in the house, nor did he want to know where the four strong men had gone.

Grandpa walked in front with a heavy breath, and when he went out, Jingyao took the key to the Li family.

Grandpa Jing didn't come to his senses until he sat in the car.

Looking at her grandfather in the rearview mirror, Jing Yao sighed and felt that it seemed that she had scared her grandfather today.

I guess I’ll have to avoid grandpa next time I encounter something like this.

"Grandpa, I asked Uncle Li, and he doesn't have any of my great-aunt's belongings at all."

Grandpa realized he had been cheated as soon as he met those four people.

"If there is no one, then there is no one."

"Don't contact them again."

Grandpa nodded. He learned a lesson from his mistakes. Even at his age, he was still cheated by the younger generation and almost implicated his granddaughter.

I'll block them all when I get back!

Seeing that her grandfather in the back seat seemed to be looking a little better, Jing Yao finally felt relieved.

Even if grandpa really wants to contact them, it will probably be difficult in the future.

After returning to their villa, Jingyao took her grandfather's hand and sat him down, then asked Aunt Lin to make some calming soup for him.

I went upstairs to wash up.

After exercising at the Li family for a while, I was already sweating all over.
