Chapter 307 Village

When they got used to the sunlight outside, they were genuinely amazed by the scene before them.

They were now standing halfway up a mountain.

Behind it is the entrance to the cave.

And below them was a small village.

There was still wisp of smoke rising from the village.

Obviously, there are people here.

"This is···"

No one expected that when they came out of the cave, they would see such a scene.

"Captain Jing, there's a small path this way."

A team member over there pointed to a road nearby.

"First, check if your abilities are still there."

After Jing Yao's reminder, everyone immediately began to activate their own supernatural powers.

“It works.”

"Mine will work too."

Jing Yao finally felt relieved after hearing that everyone's superpowers were normal.

The main force walked towards the village along the path they had discovered earlier.

"What do you think of this village appearing out of nowhere?"

"I see smoke rising from the village. Maybe there are still people there."

“But this house looks really old.”

The path they were walking on was about two meters wide, one side was close to the mountain wall, and the other side was suspended in the air, without even a guardrail.

Looking down from here, the houses in the small village below look very old.

It's like the kind of classical architecture that was only seen in costume TV shows in the past.

There is a courtyard in the center of the village, and the buildings in the courtyard are obviously different from the surrounding houses.

Even though they were far away, they could see that the buildings in that courtyard were very luxurious.

They walked down the road and soon reached the entrance of the village.

There is a large stone tablet at the entrance of the village, with words on it that no one recognizes.

I don't know where the text comes from.

Wang Hui put down Jixiang, who he had been carrying on his back. Jixiang didn't know what he saw. The hair on his body was a little stand on end, and he kept whimpering softly.

Even Jixiang stood on Meng Mingyuan's shoulder but tucked his head into his wings.

"Are you outsiders?"

Jing Yao and the others looked in the direction of the sound and saw a boy of seven or eight years old appear on the road leading to the village.

What is even more surprising is his outfit.

No matter how you look at it, he looks like a child from ancient times.

"Are you from outside too?"

Seeing that Jingyao and the others did not answer but looked at him instead, the boy did not panic but asked again.

"So what? Are there any other outsiders here?"

The boy nodded.

"Some people came to our village a few days ago and are now living here."

"Brothers and sisters, are you together?"

"yes!"

"Can you take us to them?"

Jing Yao answered yes, and Kang Ming immediately reacted and asked the little boy in front of him to take them to find those people.

"Okay, brothers and sisters, follow me."

Zhao Xu pulled Jing Yao.

"Captain Jing, this is not normal. We do not recommend entering the village."

How could Jingyao not know this?

The village that suddenly appeared and the little boy in front of him were all weird.

"Follow each other closely after entering the village, and always pay attention to changes in your abilities."

Zhao Xu's eyes flickered, and he finally let go of her hand.

"I see."

"Brother, sister, why don't you leave?"

The little boy walked forward for a distance and found that they were not following him.

"Here it comes!"

Jing Yao led everyone to follow the little boy's pace.

But Jixiang didn't seem to want to go into the village, so Jingyao had no choice but to take out the leash and pull it into the village.

The little boy took a look at Jixiang who was being dragged along and Ruyi who was pretending to be a quail, and said with a smile, "Sister, are these your pets? They are really interesting."

Jing Yao smiled and said nothing, but handed the rope to Wang Hui. He was strong, so he pulled it!

Outside the village was a ridge of fields. At first, no one was seen. But as they got closer to the buildings in the village, they saw more and more people.

"Xiaoqi, are there more guests?"

The person who was speaking was carrying a hoe and was dressed in the same ancient costume.

They were not curious when they saw Jingyao.

"Yes, Uncle Gu, they are with those who came before."

"Oh, together, then take them there quickly."

The man called Uncle Gu waved at Xiaoqi.

Xiaoqi quickly took them away.

Along the way, Xiaoqi greeted everyone he met.

Jing Yao looked coldly at Xiaoqi who was leading the way for them.

This child doesn't look like an eight-year-old at all.

"Your name is Xiaoqi, right?"

Jingyao walked quickly to Xiaoqi.

"Yes, sister, what's up?"

"I see you have a good relationship with everyone in the village."

"These are all uncles and aunts from the same village."

Xiaoqi looked unconcerned.

"What's the name of your village? Is there a village chief?"

"We are Taoyuan Village. The name of our village is written on the stone tablet at the entrance of the village."

"Of course the village has a village chief."

As they were talking, they had already arrived at the center of the village, and in front of them was the yard they had seen before.

"This is the place where the village specially entertains outsiders. Let's go in quickly."

Xiaoqi said as he opened the door and ran inside.

There is a plaque above the gate of the courtyard, but there is no word on it.

Meng Mingyuan and Kang Ming, who were following behind, grabbed Jing Yao.
