Chapter 6 Moving is on the agenda

After getting a general understanding, Jing Yao exited the system supermarket.

The first time Jing Yao entered the space supermarket, she was passive. When she wanted to go out, she only needed to think about it.

Looking at the peace locket in her hand, Jing Yao first found a Band-Aid to bandage the wound on her fingertips, then picked out a chain from her jewelry box, put the peace locket on and put it around her neck.

The system requires her to move within a month. Originally, she really wanted to take a nap, but now it seems that time is tight and the task is heavy. She can sleep anytime, but not now.

When Jingyao went to see her grandfather, the old man was looking at a pile of documents.

"Yaoyao? Aren't you going to take a nap?"

"Grandpa, actually the dream I had that day was more than what I told you."

Grandpa Jing put down the documents in his hand and looked at Jing Yao, motioning her to continue.

Jing Yao took a deep breath.

“Actually, I dreamed of a disaster.”

"Disaster? What kind of disaster?"

Grandpa Jing was really curious. The earth was now stable and peaceful, and there was no sign of disaster at all.

Jing Yao thought about it and told about the upcoming high temperature disaster.

Grandpa Jing looked incredulous after hearing this.

"High temperature? Although the current temperature is indeed abnormal, the situation you described shouldn't happen."

Seeing that grandpa didn't believe it, Jingyao felt a little anxious.

"Grandpa, believe me, the scene in the dream was so real and scary."

Seeing his granddaughter's serious expression, and thinking about her state when she mentioned Shen Lin before, Grandpa Jing suddenly became alert.

Jingyao looked at her grandfather, pursed her lips and said nothing.

Grandpa Jing thought about it and decided to believe his granddaughter.

"Yaoyao, what are you going to do?"

Jing Yao finally breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that her grandfather believed her.

"Grandpa, this is what I think. Moving is the first thing we need to do. Then I need a large sum of money to buy supplies to renovate the house we will live in. Our current servants also need to be dismissed. After all, people's hearts are unpredictable in the future, and I don't want these people to become a hidden danger for us in the future."

Grandpa Jing looked at Jing Yao who was talking so eloquently and felt that his granddaughter had really grown up.

He turned around and took out a bank card from the desk drawer.

"There's quite a bit of money in here. Take it and use it first. If it's not enough, come back to me."

Seeing that her grandfather agreed with her idea so quickly, Jing Yao said it was impossible not to be moved.

"Grandpa, do you trust me so much?"

"You are my granddaughter, Jing Jianguo. If I don't trust you, are you going to trust that kid from the Shen family?"

Grandpa Jing tapped the bank card on the table and motioned for her to accept it.

"Oh, by the way, since you're here, which of these houses do you like?"

Grandpa Jing handed the stack of papers to Jingyao, who took them and checked them one by one.

The Jing family owns a lot of properties, but most of them were submerged in the flood, so these houses were not among Jing Yao's options.

However, when Jing Yao saw one of the properties, she couldn't help but become a little confused. It seemed that she had been to this house in her previous life. Shaking off the inexplicable sense of familiarity in her mind, Jing Yao looked carefully at the information of this house.

This is a detached villa located in the north of Anshi City. Jingyao remembered that the people living there were either rich or noble people in Anshi. The houses there were located on high ground, with enough distance between houses, and the privacy was also very good. The most important thing was that floods could not reach there.

If the flood cannot reach that place, then the ice caused by the extreme cold after the flood will not affect that place either.

Taking all factors into consideration, it would be the best place to live in the end times.

Jingyao took out the paper and handed it to her grandfather.

"Grandpa, let's move here."

Grandpa Jing looked at the information above and naturally understood Jing Yao's intention.

"Can."

"Then Grandpa, I'll go over there this afternoon and then I'll start renovating the villa over there. I'll trouble you to worry about the staff here being laid off and the move."

Grandpa Jing naturally had no objection.

After things were settled here, Jing Yao returned to the bedroom with a very relaxed mood.

However, this good mood disappeared immediately when I saw the message on the phone.

"Yaoyao, are you back home?"

The person who sent this message was her good friend Mingmin.

I never told anyone about my return, so how did Mingmin know about it?

Jing Yao slapped her forehead, feeling that she was being stupid again.

Who else would tell her besides Chen Lin? I guess the two of them must have been hooking up by now.

"What's up?"

Jingyao sent two words to see what she was going to do.

After a while, Mingmin sent a message.

"Are you and Brother Shen okay?"

Brother Shen?

It was quite affectionate.

Jingyao looked at Mingmin’s address to Chen Lin with disdain.

"He is him, and I am me. I don't know whether he is good or not, but I am fine. I enjoy everything I eat."

Jing Yao looked at the other party's input display and waited for a long time before the other party sent a new message.

"Are you having a quarrel with Brother Shen?"

Jing Yao rolled her eyes at the chat interface and ignored her.

It would be better to spend this time thinking about how to renovate the villa. It’s not worth wasting your time on this waste.

After lunch, Jing Yao drove her own car to the villa in the north of the city.

The Jing family's villa in the north of the city is in Qinglu Garden, which covers a very large area and is home to many wealthy families.

When Jing Yao entered the community gate, the guard diligently verified her identity before letting her in.
