Chapter 6

Chapter 6

Su Wanxing calculated the time; in just the time it takes for an incense stick to burn, Nineteen returned with a pot of milk tea.

"Huh? So fast?"

Nineteen respectfully placed the teapot on the table.

Su Wanxing poured a glass, blew on it, and handed it to Nineteen.

"Try it."

Nineteen, filled with trepidation, took a sip from the cup.

"How about it?"

Seeing Su Wanxing's expectant eyes, Nineteen took another bite and said.

"very good"

Su Wanxing also poured herself a glass to try.

"Not bad. This afternoon, make ten pots and send them to Mingyue Pavilion. Do this every day."

Nineteen nodded.

"Is there anything else you need, Miss?"

"It's nothing else, you can go and rest."

Nineteen was stunned.

"Shall we take a break?"

"Yes, you still have injuries, don't you?"

"I applied the medicine last night, and it's much better now."

"How could that be? That's medicine, not a magic pill."

Su Wanxing pulled Shijiu's hand and rolled up her sleeve.

"It's not ready yet."

Nineteen silently lowered his head.

"By the way, did you apply any ointment to the wound on your back?"

Nineteen nodded.

"Sure, you can apply medicine to your back yourself."

Nineteen remained silent.

Su Wanxing looked at Nineteen's guilty expression.

Are you lying to me?

Nineteen immediately knelt down.

"Nineteen just didn't want Miss to worry."

Su Wanxing sighed.

"From now on, just tell me what's going on. It's okay if you lie to me, just don't make me worry."

Nineteen looked up in surprise at Su Wanxing in front of her.

Why? Why would she say something like that?

"Let's go to your room, I'll apply the medicine for you."

Nineteen followed behind Su Wanxing, looking at the woman who was a head shorter than her.

Is she genuinely concerned about me? Or is she just lying to me again?

Where's the medicine?

Nineteen came to her senses and took out Panax notoginseng powder from the cabinet.

"So this needs to be ground into powder."

Nineteen nodded.

"Take off your clothes and sit on the bed."

All the wounds on his back were exposed to Su Wanxing; the dense wounds had scabbed over and then been beaten until the skin was torn open again.

That was ruthless!

Su Wanxing took out a handkerchief from her bosom, applied some medicine powder, and gently rubbed it on Shijiu's back.

Each application of medicine reminded Nineteen of the days before.

The thought of the days he was sold sent a chill down his spine.

Su Wanxing asked anxiously.

"What's wrong? Did I hurt you?"

"fine"

Su Wanxing applied less pressure.

Nineteen felt a gentle breeze coming from behind him, and the cool sensation lessened his pain.

Nineteen secretly glanced back.

Su Wanxing carefully applied the medicine to him, and her worried look reassured him somewhat.

"Okay, I'll come and apply the medicine for you every day from now on."

Nineteen turned around and bowed her head to Su Wanxing.

"Thank you, miss."

"It's okay, don't keep thanking me, it doesn't feel right."

Su Wanxing cupped Shijiu's face in her hands.

"Don't keep your head down all the time, okay?"

Their eyes met, and the air seemed to freeze, time slowed down, and Su Wanxing saw her face clearly reflected in Nineteen's pupils.

Nineteen looked at Su Wanxing quietly, and in her eyes, he felt a tenderness and determination he had never seen before.

An ambiguous atmosphere surrounded the two of them.

Su Wanxing awkwardly looked away, and Nineteen, who was naked from the waist up, came into her view, causing two blushes to appear on her face.

Su Wanxing felt that Nineteen was getting closer and closer to her, and couldn't help but withdraw her hand.

Nineteen took Su Wanxing's hand and placed it on her chest, pressing it tightly.

"Miss, it still hurts a little here."

Tempting words reached Su Wanxing's ears.

Su Wanxing looked at Nineteen.

Nineteen's eyelashes trembled, her eyes glistening with a faint moisture, her gaze fixed on Su Wanxing, carrying an unconscious allure.

Su Wanxing had never been tempted like this before, and unconsciously swallowed.

Nineteen's body drew closer and closer, and Su Wanxing could clearly feel Nineteen's breath. Her entire body was blocked by Nineteen's body.

Just as it was about to break through the safe distance, Nineteen stopped.

"Miss, why is your face so red?"

Su Wanxing bristled like a frightened kitten, touching her face with both hands.

"Yes, really? Maybe... your room is too hot. I... I'm going out for some fresh air."

Nineteen watched as Su Wanxing fled in disarray, then regained her usual expression, silently put on her shirt, and enjoyed her milk tea.

Su Wanxing rushed back to her room, panting heavily.

I finally calmed down before I remembered what had just happened.

"What did he just do? Was he messing with me? Oh crap, did I fall for it? Was he doing it on purpose? Did he want to see me make a fool of myself? Well, Nineteen, I really underestimated you."

Su Wanxing's eyes revealed a complex and indescribable feeling.
