It was Shu Yuqing! Jiang Ru immediately thought of her; who else could it be?
Jiang Ru replied to her son on WeChat: "I'm glad you like the car. As for the promotion, Mom doesn't know anything about it. You can ask your dad."
After exchanging a few more words with her son, Jiang Ru put down her phone. She knew this was Shu Yuqing's warning to her, telling her to stay at Yanling's house with peace of mind.
She gave a bitter smile, forcing herself to give up the idea of going home. Shu Yuqing really had good methods, using both soft and hard tactics to directly control her lifeline.
She used her son to tell herself that if she wanted her son to be good, he had to listen to her and keep Yanling in check.
