Yanling waited until dark before going out to buy medicine. He had already decided that he couldn't find the man's address, and he couldn't beat the owner on his own, so he chose to poison the fish stall.
There are rules to follow when it comes to poisoning fish. Since the fish is sold to customers, you can't poison it. You can put a laxative in the water. People who buy the fish will definitely get diarrhea after eating it at home, and then they will go and cause trouble for the owner.

Yanling was sneaking closer to the fish stall when Old Wu from next door glanced at him out of the corner of his eye and raised his voice to ask, "What do you want to buy?"
Although the question was posed as asking what Yanling wanted to buy, Old Wu's eyes were glued to him, worried that he might cause trouble. He knew all about the feud between Yanling and Old Wang, and he didn't believe that Yanling had come to buy fish.
Yan Ling's heart pounded in his chest at the loud shout. He had just taken the powdered laxative out of his pocket and was holding it tightly in his hand. The man was staring at him intently, so it seemed he wouldn't have a chance to drug him today.
Wang Baoyu didn't miss the unnatural look on Yan Ling's face. He carefully observed the man from the shadows and found that his right hand was clenched tightly, as if he was hiding something in his palm.
He quickly strode forward, stood in front of Yanling, looked down at him, and asked him to take out what he was holding.
Yan Ling's breath hitched. How did this person know she had something in her hand?
His flustered expression did not escape everyone's notice. Wang Baoyu was not sure if he had anything in his hand and just wanted to bluff him, but the expression on his face said it all.
